Principal of Oakwood High School

He carelessly hung up the call after this, while his thoughts drifted towards the Seafood Restaurant.

The introduction of the new side dishes had gained a rather positive response, but it was not a one shot to fame kind of popular.

After all, their branch restaurant was not the only restaurant along the Blue Misty Beach. They were also other relatively famous restaurants which had been established along the beach a long time ago, and it was a pipe dream to expect that their restaurant was able to topple down their years of heritage and reputation in a mere day.

But regardless of this fact, their earnings had risen, since they now had a branch restaurant. Although the profits from the branch restaurant was not as great as the main one, it was still rather notable too.

He played around with his phone to kill some time, with his definition of playing being searching the web for F&B and Design related information.

Learning never ends, and since he had an enhanced capability to learn and absorb knowledge to put it into practical use, why shouldn't he make sure of this?

If not, it would be a waste of the gifts which the System has endowed upon him.

Approximately 30 minutes passed, before the assistant at the front desk called him out and gestured for him to enter the office.

The principal of the Oakwood School was a middle-aged man with all his hair intact. There were some traces of white amongst his black hair, but the amount was negligible.

His face was sharp and authoritative, whilst his eyes were calm and unmoving.

There was a pile of documents that had been placed in front of him, and one of top of it all, sat Si Chen's particulars.

This was a particularly interesting case which he had spent quite some time dwelling on. The only information that was stated on the document was his age and gender, along with some miscellaneous details about him, such as the scholarship he was on, and how his grades how dramatically slid down.

It also stated that he was poor, and could barely be able to afford the fees. He was bewildered when he read this.

In normal cases, a poor student with bad grades should have long been kicked out from the school, yet not action had been taken to him.

His eyes slid down the document, and when he read the lines below, his pupils involuntarily narrowed into slits. He then recalled a matter of the past, and his heart began pounding.

He no longer questioned his presence in the school anymore.

He was not qualified to.

As the principal saw Si Chen entering the room, he tried to put on his most composed state, with a slight smile appearing on his face, "Are you Si Chen, the student who wanted to meet up with me?"

While he was saying that, he examined Si Chen and found his appearance to be much different from the pictures.

His face sharper, his jawline defined, his features matriculate and attractive. If not for the fact that there were some a faint similarity, he would never have believed that the two were the same person.

"Yes. I am here to talk about an important matter." Si Chen sat down on the opposite the principal's desk and unhurriedly said. While he was doing this, he slightly cast his eyes upon the plaque on the principal's teacher, which read Principal Qin.

So that was his name...Si Chen mused.

He found it fairly embarrassing if he had not known his principle's name after studying in the school for 2 straight years.

"What would you like to talk about?" Principal Qin lightly leaned forward and questioned.

"Principal Qin, I would like to skip 2 grades and go to the 18th year old class to study, as well as take the National High School Examinations this month. I hope you will be able to accede to my request." Si Chen straightforwardly informed on his thoughts.

"This…" Principal Qin hesitated with a pensive thought on his face, "I have seen your grades, and I am afraid that I won't be able to agree with this request."

"Unless…" Principal Qin then trailed off. He could not bluntly reject this youth in front of him, so he had to resort to other matters instead.

"Unless what?" Si Chen followed through and asked.

Principal Qin took a deep sight, while looking as though he was making a really difficult decision, "Unless you take the mock exams for the 18 year old class, and you manage to pass it."

In all honestly, he did not possess a single speck of the possibility that Si Chen would pass the test, since he was only 16, and his grades were not even considered top grade as his level.

So the chances of him passing the mock test that would have had around the same difficulty as the National High School examinations were naturally close to zero.

What he wanted to do was just let him give up on this thought, while persuading him to do so in a less straightforward manner.

"Okay. Principal Qin, I agree to this. When will this mock test begin?" Si Chen did not hesitate and instantly agreed.

Principal Qin took a second look at Si Chen when he heard how fast he replied. There was even that unmistakable tone of confidence in his voice when he said that.

"It will begin at the last day of the first week of the school opening. 3 pm at the North Block, Classroom 4-10." Principal Qin slowly told him.

Si Chen lightly nodded his head.

"Principle Qin, I have something on during the first week of school till the end of the last day, so I won't be attending school. I hope you don't mind this." Si Chen thought of something and stated.

The corners of Principal Qin's mouth slightly twitched. He had years of experience in his belt, and looking at Si Chen's school record, it was not that hard to guess that Si Chen was simply trying to skip school.

If Si Chen was anyone else, he won't have bothered and would have instantly reject.

But it was him.

"I'm sure your teachers will not mind." Principal Qin amiably smiled.

Well, at least Si Chen had the thought to inform him about him skipping class. This was good enough.

Si Chen felt that the principal was acting rather weird today, but he couldn't put his finger onto exactly why he was doing this.

But since he had gotten the information he needed, there was no need for him to stay here anymore. Si Chen stood up from his seat and thanked Principal Qin, before he left the room.

After leaving the building, he looked back at the school with a contemplative expression, then went to buy a few sets of new school uniforms for both him and Xiao Meng.

Although he won't be attending much lessons, but proper school uniforms were compulsory. His size has grown and his current school uniform was practically squeezing his chest.

When he had gotten that done, he turned to leave the school.
