This morning as Sasuke walked to the academy he seemed to be turning more heads than usual. As he walked in to the classroom all eyes were on him.
"Sasuke-kun seems even more manly today," a girl mentioned while touching her cheeks in bashfulness.
"He's so cool wish I can be his girlfriend."
"Don't even bother dreaming that'll never happen because Sasuke-kun is going to be my boyfriend,"
As soon as he entered a group of girls stared a circle around block his way. They were bringing gifts with them that they made at him: chocolates, love letters, etc.
Sakura noticed the girls festering her boyfriend became really annoyed. Walking over to the group of girls and tried to squeeze herself in there.
Without notice she found herself tripped over a girl's shoe as she flies into the air. Closing her eyes as she fears herself going to cause an embarrassment in front of her love Sasuke.
For some reason there was not the impact that she expect. Instead it was she was leaning on something warm and sturdy.
When she opened her eyes she found her arms around somebody's neck. With her body leaned on to their chest.
When Sakura looked up she saw Sasuke smilingly warmly towards. With their close distance reminded Sakura of what happened on the weekend which made her blush.
"Sorry Sasuke-kun," her large eyes looked up at Sasuke in an embarrassed manner. As she noticed the other girls around them turned silent.
"Sakura is so annoying always taking Sasuke for herself," whispered a girl meanly.
"Yeah. Look at how she falls on purpose just to get close to him," commented another girl critically.
With care Sasuke slowly lowered Sakura on to the floor. Holding her arm as he does so.
"Ah," Sakura felt a slight pain from her ankle as her foot touched the ground.
"Are you okay? Let me help you to your seat," Sasuke said with concern as he help walk Sakura to their table.
She found Sasuke taking hold of her hand as he walks her. With the embarrassing situation her heart beat even faster.
When she sat down on her chair Sasuke kneeled down to examaine her ankle. Founding it a little red as it begins to swollen.
"Sakura we should have your ankle healed it seemed to be kind of serious," Sasuke said to her with concern.
"I'm sorry for bothering you Sasuke-kun," Sakura said awkwardly.
"You're not a bother at all. Didn't I promise I'll always be by your side and take care of you?" Sasuke said to her with a playful smile teasing her, "Here get on my back."
Resting her chest on her back Sasuke gently housed her up in a piggy back. Mentioning to Naruto to correspond with Iruka-Sensei about their absence.
"Sakura and Sasuke seemed more closer than usual," mentioned Hinata quietly who was sitting by Naruto's side.
"Its about time Sasuke finds a girlfriend haha," laughed Naruto as he watches with approval the two moving their relationship together.
After Naruto and Hinata got together with the help of "Matchmaker Sasuke" they became a good pair. Although Hinata is still keeping her relationship a secret from her clan members. Especially from the sis-con obsessive Neji.
Naruto used to have feelings for Sakura, but has now forgotten all about the past. In his eyes and heart there's only Hinata.
As Sasuke carried her to the hospital Sakura could almost feel her heart bursting from the excitement inside.
When they arrived at the hospital there were people who used medical ninjutsu to heal Sakura's ankle.
"I told you not to worry Sasuke-kun it's only a small problem," Sakura said jokingly as she rests her head on the pillow.
Sasuke raised his fingers poking her forehead affectionately, "You nut head it's not like I want to worry about you."
Sakura giggled a little seeing Sasuke pretending to act tough in front of her. Then seeing that Sasuke is focusing his eyes on her made her look away bashfully.
With her emerald eyes looking away to the side Sasuke took hold of both her hands into his. The move caused Sakura to look back into Sasuke's eyes.
With Sasuke's eyes focused on her he said to her cooly, "Make sure to be careful next time."
That warming smile on Sasuke's face caused her to blush really hard as she nods in agreement. Not willing to take her hands away from his care.
"Your ankle is still weak so stay here and rest," Sasuke said to her while standing up to leave.
As Sasuke was walking away a hand was holding tightly to the corner of his blue shirt. He turned around to see a pair of large adorable green eyes seemingly begging him to stay.
Putting his hand out to lightly brush her pink hair behind her ear Sasuke told her affectionately, "Its okay I'm just getting you some water."
"Thanks Sasuke-kun," Sakura said smiling while her eyes looked down bashfully.
"When I come back I'll tell you a lot of amazing stories," Sasuke promised her. No matter a person's age there's always an child inside who seeks to be cared for and to be loved.
When Sasuke came back he handed a cup of water to her. Sakura's eyes looked eagerly at him to start his story telling.
"Okay the first story I'm going to tell you is the story of the Little Mermaid," Sasuke introduces to Sakura.
"A mermaid?"
"Mm, so once upon a time there these creatures called a mermaid and they lived deep down in the ocean…" Sasuke explained it in a little more depth since there's no concept of mermaids in the Naruto World.
In this moment sits a girl on the white hospital bed as the opened windows blows in the Autumn winds. Outside the leaves are in their darker shaded colors.
It is a beautiful story though never heard before in this world. As she hears the tragic tale Sakura founds herself deeply drawn in.
