Sylvia's Pov Thank You.

Sylvia Kramer was an up and coming assassin with average potential. She had the grit, the passion and the love for her profession.

What she didn't have though, was Talent. Aged 17, she was almost destined to be a wife in an average branch family, because it was evident that her brothers were more than enough for the family to maintain their bloodline.

As she stood there, in front of the mansion that she called her cage, she burned herself every day, taking contracts only to kill. She wanted to vent her anger, on her father, her mother, her brothers and everyone that benefits from her misery. But she was a coward. She was scared of death, of isolation, hopelessness.

Until one day, when she was asked to kill the 2 girls that were the only Solace to her dark life.

"Why do you want me to do this? They are just kids, and you all know this very well that they can be of great service to the Family."

She asked her father, who was as blind to logic as they come, all because of his love for his sons.

"Do you even need to ask? These witches tried to talk back to the future heir to the family, our only hope. Do you think I would just let them go after they insulted the only hope of my life? If you dare to refuse, you can go and join them!"

Sylvia was numbed by this statement.

She fell into deep thought and started thinking about the unfairness of this world.

'Is insult all it takes to lose your life? Is that all a person is born to do, as a purpose? Is fate a real thing, or just a simple prank by the people who want other people to possess enough fear to exploit it?'

Suddenly, she came to a realization. The world needs someone to destroy the value of fate. She had to be that someone. She needed to make fate an insignificant factor IN her life, transcend it through her own methods.

"This is the only time I am going to say this, so listen carefully."

Then, she took out her gun and shot her father straight at his head.

"Thank you, for using fate to challenge me. Now, I will show you how much I care about this family, about this world, about myself."

People say that sometimes, the difference between a genius and an average person is just their mental state. She became the living example of that statement.

That night, the entire Kramer family was wiped out of existence, except for 3 people. They had the duty to revive the family, and the mistress of this family was the most ruthless and efficient female assassin that the world had seen, killing thousands of people by herself over the years.

Her name was Sylvia Curran, the assassin who wanted to challenge fate with her own two hands.
