Taking Up Classes.

Alex then proceeded to leave, without looking back. He needed to show everyone here that he had enough power that he could slap an important figure like her and leave, without consequences. As for what Claudia would do next, he simply didn't care. If she dared to try something like this again, he would completely crush her, without holding back.

He went straight to the dean's office, with directions provided by students on the way. The incident hadn't blown up completely, so some people were oblivious to his existence and helped him without any hesitation.

As he entered the dean's office, there was a familiar face waiting for him.

"You made quick work of my daughter, Alex. What do you think I will do to reprimand you?"

Carla was seated in the chair, with an expression that didn't show anything. She was looking at him straight in his eyes, intending to find out what his answer was going to be.

"You can do whatever you want, mam. I just don't want to interact with your daughter anymore."

"I didn't do anything to her, and she was the person who challenged me to the duel first, Therefore out of respect, I exchanged pointers with her. If my mother didn't say so, I would have not even tried to win against her. Even with this incident, she started it first, therefore I gave it back to her. It was only to show her how it felt. I wasn't going to take additional baggage on my head because of a naive prank, and I would do it again if the situation presented itself."

No hesitation. There was no point in holding back. At most he would be alienated in the family, but unless they didn't hurt him, which wasn't going to happen anyway due to the contract, he didn't have anything to fear.

"I can understand your intentions. You did the right thing. I don't condone bullying in my school, so you were right in trying to get rid of her in that situation as soon as possible. Don't worry, it was just a question."

She put her hand on her face and peeled some sort of skin-like covering. When her real face came into view, it had a smile on it, indicating that she approved of what Alex did.

"Alex, the reason that I and Lucius decided to enrol you here was to teach you the modern ways of assassination. using a gun and a knife may help you kill someone. But you should know that today, Assassins are more than that."

"People don't just lock their money and secrets behind metal safes anymore, they keep it stored digitally, allowing them to always hide everything worth hiding, without trying too hard. You might be able to kill a person, but what if the information that the person carried was more important to the mission than the person himself? At that point, all you can do is hope that you can find information in someway, relying on another person to do work with you, which increases risk and liability. And any seasoned assassin can tell you, you don't kill your help unless they betray you, because then, you might not get any help in the future."

Alex nodded. Everything that she said was true. The year in which he had been transmigrated to this world, was 2005. Currently, It was 2008, which meant that the big technological boom wasn't too far in the future.

Things like flash memory by a company named Orange(Creative, I know.), Android by Tony(Slow Clap), Flexible displays, and Gps were all introduced as their first mainstay versions this year. The Grey family had investments all over the country, including major stakes in the tech giants, hence it was responsible for the new age of computing.

"And so, I want you to pick your classes with utmost care. Don't pick a class that won't help you too much. Take some time, think about it, and get to me tomorrow. Today, you can take it easy and inspect the classes freely, to help in your decision."

"I will. Thank you for the advice."

He bowed again and left the room. He was already late for the classes, so he needed to hurry up.

Back in the office, Carla was busy analyzing the video of the entire incident. She was absolutely livid, which is why she had to wear a mask, which copied the face of a person. She wanted to look composed, hence she refrained from showing her actual expression.

"I need to change his attitude. He isn't afraid of offending us, and he isn't afraid of punishment."

She closed her laptop and sighed. She had to now console her daughter, who might have been humbled a bit too much, which could be either good or bad for her. He had been too ruthless.

--------------------------------------------------------

Alex was busy attending different classes throughout the day. As of now, everyone had made a collective decision to stay away from him, because if he had the power to hit the daughter of the founder and bear no consequences, offending him as normal people would be suicidal.

The assassins from the family, on the other hand, were grinding their teeth in anger. this kid, who had been given so much importance by the family, had dared to offend their young mistress. They had controlled themselves when the dean had relayed explicit instructions to leave him alone, but they won't be able to control themselves for much longer.

After the day ended, Alex had already decided on the classes that he was going to take. Since his IQ had been around 138 in his last life, it wasn't hard to apply for the more difficult courses.

Basics of C++, Java, and Python were a must. If you are going to learn to code, you might as well learn all of it. He took up all the basic classes, as well as applied for extra classes according to the time that was available barring training sessions with Lucius.

"I also need to learn about electronics as they might help me to develop certain gimmicks to apply in my methods."

But he had to wait for the electronics course. It wasn't too hard for him, but still, he needed to free up time from other courses to start learning about it.

With this, he was ready to begin his high school life(For 4 months only).
