The Titanic Ice Queen

Ice and snow are spreading throughout T-City with reckless abandon. Citizens inside and outside began to freeze into little more than statues. It practically spread further into S-City but something stopped its movements. It was very minor but the ice somewhat dwindled. A great heat flooded from the center of the city scattering bright sun-like warmth. Two domes of ice and fire smash into each other in a swirling battle for supremacy. One, the Ice Queen of the Winter Family. Infuriated by her worldview being challenged to its breaking point. The other, The Vigilante Hero of T-City. Driven to prove that no one can tell him what he can be. That he's the one at his sail. The master of his sea. Frost, noticing him trying to stand up to her again, begins to provoke her even more.

"No, you don't!" Her rage caused her ice form to change into something a lot more monstrous. Her face formed to look similar to that of a dragon made of ice. With sharp spikes sprouting from not only the ground but the back of her head as well. Christan was no different, his fiery body morphed into a demonic shape. Every step he took towards her left burned footprints behind. As they got closer their domes were a lot more wild, simply put this was getting completely out of hand. But then suddenly, as they stood face to face trying to win this clash Christans body started glowing brighter and brighter. Light a flickering lightbulb. His body heat was increasing at an alarming rate. But he didn't notice in the slightest, he was using the full might of his flames to emit a concentrated blaze from his body. However, suddenly a brilliant explosion went off from his body, throwing heat and light that reached almost the end of the city. Nearby buildings were heavily damaged, some melted as if it were a candle. Zenko nearly got hit by the blaze but luckily she was far enough away.

Christan POV

'My ears are ringing, my body feels thrashed. I feel numb all over, It feels like a struggle to even move a muscle.' As I stand there I notice I'm once again not in that fire form and every time I try to do it again I feel a sharp pain throughout my entire body. Like I'm being stabbed over and over again all over. "The heck is going on?" I said aloud through agonizing grunts and heavy breathing. Then I heard Tanya's sinister laugh echo in the dust-filled area. My blurry vision cleared up as did the dust. There stood Frost, getting up from the ground. Still completely covered in ice. "How could I forget. This is too rich." She said through muffled laughter. "What are you talking about? What happened?" I asked her as I attempted to stand but just ended up back on one knee. Her laughing eventually ended and she smugly explained. "You wouldn't know this, but what you and what I'm currently using is classified as an evolution state. To skip the formalities, you burned through more firepower than your body could supply. If you were like me and acquired that form prematurely, regulating that power then you wouldn't be in the predicament. Good thing I purposely sent weaklings for you to play with." I was even more confused.

"I told you this from the very beginning. You must have thought I only meant recently. But it's alright, I'll elaborate. Every skirmish you've had up to this point has all been set up by me. Almost like giving a pup a new toy to play with every day, just so he can destroy it." After she told me, I began remembering the giant golem from a few days ago. 'It's frozen tree root hands. So she's the one who bailed out the BSK in the beginning. She probably is the person that sent them to me in the first place. If what she's saying is true then everything I've accomplished has all been her messing with me. All to make me arrogant, big-headed. I'm still weak!' I thought before I began punching the ground, screaming in frustration and pain. "Excellent, I've broken both your body and your spirit. Time to die." She said as she stepped on my hand, sending an unbearable shock wave through my entire body. I frantically kicked and screamed as every bone in my hand began to slowly shatter. "Isn't this simpler? Is this not your natural state? Once a weakling, always a weakling. You can't change that. People's limitations are set, fixed, and unchangeable. Only a clod like you would waste their time trying to become something they can never be! The only destiny that you and I share is death." I grabbed hold of her foot trying to move it to no avail. She let out a sigh before she kicked me in the face sending me backward, landing flat on my back.

"Foolishness. Just foolish. You continue to struggle, even after I told you that you've just been nothing more than my pawn. Mind the pun," she told me as I gradually stood up, using a guardrail to stand. "Look at you, you can barely stand, gasping for air and can't even fight back you should just give up." she told me as she crossed her arms. 'She's right, my body is shredded. Just touching the guardrail stung like a hell, and even if I did give up, she would just kill me anyway. Not to mention Zenko back at the house.' I thought as I tried to speak through my pain. "It's nice to know you care so much about my well-being after causing nothing but my ill-being." I sarcastically told her before coughing. "Again with the snark. Well before you begin your pathetic struggle to survive, I should warn you. Your likelihood of succeeding is nonexistent, and just so you can truly comprehend what I mean I'll instill you with true fear before I shut that mouth of yours for good."

Third POV

Frost steps back onto the remains of the floor of ice. She does an open-handed gesture towards the ground, causing all the ice in the area to be pulled towards her. A cold breeze itself blew past Christan, sending not just a cold chill down his spine but intense pain. It went up her feet, coating her already frozen body in another layer of ice. She began to grow larger and larger as more and more coldness coated her. Christian stepped back in awe of the size of her. 'She's huge.'  She towered over a majority of the buildings in T-City. Eventually, her icy body formed into a more humanoid look. She looked down at Christan as her body shimmered in the sunlight. "I think I might have bitten off more than I can chew," He said as he felt his body get a little less numb. "How am I supposed to fight a Frost giant?" He said as she pulled her arm back completely covering the sun with just her fist. Frost then proceeded to punch down at him, but he just managed to jump into the air and out of the way. However, before he could do anything else she was already in his face again going for another quick punch. Which he didn't dodge, he just fell back down to the ground. Landing on a nearby building but she didn't waste any time, stomping down on the building almost crushing him beneath her foot.

Frost started snickering as she watched Christan run away. "Running again, it's fine. Go ahead and run," she said as she quickly caught him trying to sneak around. "Because you can't hide." as she said that she smashed through a wall that he was nearby. Christan began jumping from building to building, trying to get away from her to think. "Man, for someone so big. She sure is fast." He said to himself as he was near a tall radio tower that Frost knocked over when she tried to hit him again. She began to chase after him, giving him no time to come up with a plan of attack. "If you had just perished at the beginning like a good little boy then you wouldn't be dealing with this. But since you want to be a stubborn little cockroach, I have to treat you like one!" She said going to stomp on him again but moved out of its path. Leading to her getting her foot stuck in the ground. Christan thought about attacking her but he didn't know what to do. 'If I couldn't hurt her when she was small then what could I do against this?" He asked him as he then got an idea. 'Wait, what if I do what she did. I can't do the evolution thing right now so that's off the table. But what if I made an attack the way she turned into that.' He thought as he then mimicked what she did earlier but with the heat in the area instead of cold.

For a moment he felt the heat around start flow towards him but at the last moment before any of it could reach him Frost got her foot out of the ground. Christan noticed her at the last second as she punched down at him. Though this time while he was in midair she leaped up and on one hand kicked Christan so far and hard that he bounced on the ground like a pinball machine. Leaving him lying face down on the ground, with a new feeling of pain throughout his body. He groaned in pain as he laid there, as his eyes bulged open seeing her lunging at him quickly. With only milliseconds to think he used what little firepower he had to blast him out of the way but as he was going up she threw her body forwards and then placed her hands on the ground. That lunged her back heels forward, kicking Christan into a semi-empty car park. "You think because I'm bigger than you can outmaneuver me," she then jumped towards Christan again leading to a loud thud as she once again kicked him into a bunch of lined up trucks and cars.

With Christan once again flopping down in the crater of vehicles, he hears Frost begin laughing. "Don't you wish you'd listen to reason and gave up earlier? Too bad for you, there are no second chances." she told him as she leaned on a nearby building. Christan grabbed the destroyed window using it to get to his feet. With his hair draped in his face, he coughed up blood as he felt like that last kick had broken a rib or two. 'She's insanely fast for being so big. I don't have enough time to concentrate to take in any heat. Even if I could do that evolution thing, I'm not sure if even that would be enough." He said as she finally stood upright. "I think it's finally time for the coup de grâce, don't you think," Frost said as she lunged at him for one final time. "Bye-bye Christan." As she was moments from killing Christan, he got an idea as he got a glimpse of the sun behind her. 'That's it!' After thinking that Christan then creates a sphere of light between his hands that erupts into a large-scale flash of light. Similar to the effect of a stun grenade, the flash of light blinds Frost. Completely catches her off guard, leading to her landing on the ground in a heap. Grabbing at her eyes, screaming in pain from her temporary blindness.

Christan then quickly moved away from her. "Now's my chance, I gotta put some distance between us." He said as he ran back towards the city. "Ahhh, my eyes! My eyes!" He heard Frost yell out as he landed on a faraway building on the other side of T-City. Breathing heavily Christan spreads his arms out towards the sun. 'Hopefully, this is far enough away. I hope.' As he thought that he slowly felt not just the heat of the sun but the ambient heat in the air began to soak into him. 'Alright! It's working, just a little bit more and this horrible nightmare will be over. I have only one shot at this, so I gotta make it count.' He thought to himself as a fiery aura cloaked him completely. "Ahhhh!! I can't see! I can't see! Damn you, Christan! You can run away all you wish, but I will find you! You hear me!" She shouted out still recovering from the flash. 'Come on just a little bit more.' Christan thought as Frost's faded vision finally clears up. "Finally, now where is that coward!?" she angrily asked as she looked around for him. Eventually while surveying the city she spotted him with a flaming aura surrounding him. Christan on the other hand had just absorbed enough heat, his aura had settled down as it spiraled around his body. "It's ready. If this won't stop her then I'm sorry I couldn't protect you Zenko." He said as she began heading towards him. He pulled all the fire into his palm creating a sphere of condensed fire in a perfect sphere that goes on to spin inside the sphere. He pulled his arm back ready to hurl it at her, but just before he could she opened her mouth and launched a blue icy blast at Christan catching him by surprise. He subsequently takes the full force of the attack and loses the power he absorbed. Frost laughed as she walked into the semi-destroyed city. "Well, I guess that does it for the great hero of this puny little city. Hehe, it's funny. I was just starting to enjoy myself." She said as she spotted him.

Christan POV

As I laid flat on my back my entire body was wrecked. I thought the worst pain I could feel was earlier but this makes that look like nothing more than stubbing a toe. The blast wasn't normal. When it hit me I was impaled by hundreds of little ice needles. Luckily the body heat I had melted a majority of them. I gradually sat up, groaning in pain. "I didn't think she'd do that. That was one helluva mistake. Another second and she would've been done for." Suddenly she landed nearby with a satisfied looking smile on her face. "That's it. I've given you too many chances. That was your last." She told me as I slowly got up, noticing the holes in my clothes and skin from the needless. 'Bruised, bleeding, broken ribs and my body feels so weak. All that heat-absorbing may have drained me of all I had left.' I thought as she started to slowly make her up to me. "Awww, you look so beside yourself," I tried to save face but she was right. "Let me put you out of your misery!" She said as she went to crush me with a stomp but got out of the way not by dodging but by falling over in my attempt to move. Which left me open for her to kick me into a wall and once again on my back. Gritting my teeth at the sheer agony I was in I tried to once again stand up however while I was struggling she leaped into the air and landed on my leg.

I've never cried out in pain so loud. My entire right leg was crushed by her huge foot. As my shrieks slowly morphed into heavy breathing Frost spoke after moving her foot off my leg. "Whoops, pardon me. It seems I've accidentally stepped on your leg," her sinister sarcasm ended with a light chuckle before she put a finger up to her face like she was thinking. "I surmise that means you can't run from me any longer." I wasn't able to hear her over my heavy breaths and the searing pain. She pulled her arm back turning her fingers into sharp blades. "I will acknowledge this, you've been an engaging challenge. Yet in your heart and soul, you knew it would culminate this way." She told me as I laid there just starting up. 'All that, just to end up dying at the hands of a curvaceous giant woman made of ice. Well, at least it's not a dull death.' I thought as I heard Zenkos voice. In the ments of all this, I was in front of my place again. It was faint but she was telling me to get up. 'As much as I wish I could, I can't even feel one of my legs so that's gonna be a bit difficult.' I thought to myself as Frost launched her claws at me. However, in a last-ditch effort, I used whatever remaining power I had left to blast her in her right eye. She shrieked out in pain while grabbing her cupping her eye. "A gift from me to you," with one arm out and a small smile on my face I laid back down. "Now we're even." She frantically made an ice mirror and saw the damage done to her face. An entire hole was straight through her eye. "Damn you! Look at what you did to my face! My beautiful face!" Furious at the loss of half her vision, Frost yanked me from the ground, into her cold hands and began to squeeze me to death. "I'll squeeze the life out of you!" As she began to squeeze I felt more and more of my bones begin to break. I howled out in agony as I felt my body start to freeze in her grip.
