Challenging Elder Wu

"So... strong"

That was the only thought on every bodies mind when they looked at Hao Ren. Some of the elders even had fear in their eyes as they knew that they couldn't match up to Hao Ren in terms of strength

"How?" Xu Que couldn't help but ask with shock clearly heard in his voice

"Foundation Realm" the grand elder exclaimed in shock

When the surrounding disciples heard what the grand elder said, they immediately sucked in a cold breath and looked at the handsome looking youth in the arena who still had a smiling face even though he just killed someone

"This boy will definitely grow into someone who can reach the peak of this world as long as he doesn't die" Yuan Hai said, although he felt pained about the loss of Wu Chen, there was nothing he could do as he didn't know Hao Ren had already broken through to the Foundation Realm. He only saw through his strength when he attacked.

"How did he break through so soon, even though he ate the Silverwing Earthspirit Fruit, there is no way it could help him break through to the Foundation Realm this quickly" Elder Li was quite surprised by how the battle ended and was also shocked by the fact that Hao Ren has already broken through the Foundation Realm.

The sect leader had known that both Wu Chen and his father planned to get rid of Hao Ren so he can't really blame Hao Ren for killing Wu Chen when he had the chance.

"I will kill you" Elder Wu roared like a beast and immediately charged towards Hao Ren. When the sect leader saw this, he immediately moved towards the arena and blocked Elder Wu from advancing towards Hao Ren

"Elder Wu, what do you think you are doing?" Yuan Hai asked Elder Wu in a cold tone

"Sect leader, this bastard broke the sect rules by killing in the sect premises. I'm only trying to enforce the law and rid the world of a monster" Elder Wu said, anger had already made him lose his reason. Now he was just looking for a way to attack Hao Ren, he knew he couldn't attack with the sect leader personally intervening so he had to come up with a reason.

The elders and disciples were dumbfounded by Elder Wu's shamelessness. Although Elder Wu is fully aware that both Hao Ren and Wu Chen had a life and death battle, he still wanted to use the fact that Hao Ren killed in the sect premises as a reason for attacking him.

"Elder Wu, have you forgotten that they fought a life and death battle?" Elder Li immediately shouted from the side

"Humph, it was a life and death battle, that, I am fully aware of but I also know that Wu Chen would not kill his opponent even after he wins. This boy has an evil heart and shouldn't be left alive or else he will kill more people indiscriminately" Elder Wu said, his eyes were already red from anger because of his son's death. The worst part of the whole issue for Elder Wu was that his son's killer was right in front of him but he couldn't do anything to him.

Yuan Hai looked at Elder Wu before saying with a sigh "Hao Ren challenged Wu Chen to a life and death battle, if Wu Chen had refused the battle none of this would have happened"

"Sect leader but you know he can't refuse a challenge, as a martial artist, he must fight!" Elder Wu said passionately. If someone who didn't know the relationship between Hao Ren and Wu Chen from the beginning was here, the person would surely believe Hao Ren was an evil monster

Hao Ren gave Elder Wu 5 stars in his mind for his acting. Elder Wu is clearly doing all this just for the sake of having the chance of eliminating Hao Ren, although he knew Hao Ren was in the Foundation Realm, he wasn't scared as he knew the difference between the early stages and the mid stages of the Foundation Realm. Someone at the Fourth stage of the Foundation Realm, can easily eliminate 5 or 6 people at the Third stage of the Foundation Realm.

"Elder Wu, I know you don't like me. What's the use of acting like you are the victim here, if Wu Chen had the chance he would have definitely killed me. If I weren't lucky back at the Nether forest, I would have been killed by both him and Yun Lu" Hao Ren said in a cold tone towards Elder Wu and then he shifted his gaze fro him and looked in the direction of Yun Lu

When Hao Ren fixed his gaze at Yun Lu, he couldn't help but shudder as he felt a chill run down his spine. He immediately broke out in cold sweats. He felt it wasn't a human that was looking at him, but instead the king of beasts. The gaze was like that of a predator looking at its prey ready to pounce at anytime.

When the surrounding people heard what Hao Ren said, they were shocked as they didn't expect Wu Chen to try and kill Hao Ren when they were out of the sect.

"You evil bastard, you were clearly at the Foundation Realm yet you challenged someone at the Qi Gathering Realm to a life and death battle. This only shows you are a bloodthirsty person. Sect leader, he must be eliminated or he will kill millions more because of his bloodthirsty nature" Elder Wu said towards Yuan Hai

"Elder Wu, did you know about Wu Chen attacking Hao Ren when they were out of the sect?" Yuan Hai asked Elder Wu

"Sect leader, you are believing what this outsider is saying. He is only saying this to justify his evil nature, that way you all will believe he had all reasons to take his revenge on Wu Chen" Elder Wu said

When Elder Yun heard this, he immediately joined in the argument and sided Elder Wu as he knew that if this matter isn't settled, it will definitely affect him as his son was also involved in the issue

Yuan Hai had a headache from all the arguments and everything that was happening. Hao Ren looked at him before saying "Sect leader, you shouldn't bother your self about all this as I will definitely have a battle with Elder Wu after I'm done with Wu Chen. Since he is already here, I have no problem with dealing with him right now also. If not for Elder Wu attacking me with his divine sense during my first battle with Wu Chen I wouldn't have been attacked and nearly killed by that worthless loser"

"Sect leader you heard it yourself, he is challenging me. You shouldn't have an issue with that right?" When Elder Wu heard Hao Ren's challenge, he was quite happy as Hao Ren was giving him the chance to avenge his son and immediately turned to the sect leader to get approval so he can attack Hao Ren immediately

The grand elder and Yuan Hair was quite amazed by the youth's boldness. Hao Ren just killed Elder Wu's only son and knew he wanted to kill him so badly yet he still challenged him.

'This is definitely the boldest person I have seen in a long time' thought the grand elder

Elder Li on the other hand felt Hao Ren had went crazy from breaking through to the Foundation Realm

"Boy, are you sure you want to challenge Elder Wu. You should know that he is stronger than you" Yuan Hai said while looking at Hao Ren, they have already known Hao Ren's strength after seeing him attack once, so they all knew that he was currently at the Second stage of the Foundation Realm.

"Of course, all debts must be paid in full" Hao Ren replied with a smile on his face

Yuan Hai looked at him and was surprised by the youth's confidence. The look on Hao Ren's face made Yuan Hai and Elder Li worry less about him. Hao Ren knew the personality of Yuan Hai, that was why he brought this proposal up. He knew that Yuan Hai will definitely allow him to fight as long as he said he wanted to, as Yuan Hai became a strong expert of the region with his constant fighting

Elder Wu handed Wu Chen's corpse to Elder Yun. "Take care of him, I will bring that brats head with me to bury him with my son"

Once again the battle arena was cleared for another battle, the disciples in the stands were shocked once again but the turn of events. At first Wu Chen was killed by Hao Ren and then Elder Wu wanted to attack him but was blocked by the sect leader and now both Elder Wu and Hao Ren is about to have a battle.
