Hecter's Friend

Will took down his notes seriously with full attention. He had aced the tests again and wanted to continue with his good performance in school since it seemed like the only thing he could do without getting into trouble.

This was the maths class and he wasn't that great at it but he wanted to learn it. As he wrote on his note a small paper ball hit his head and he looked at the paper ball that had fallen on his desk and shook his head.

He unfolded the paper and read the contents: "I still have my eyes on you… my offer still stands…"

He rolled his eyes and squeezed the paper into a ball before dropping it into his bag. That was from Hecter, the new boy, and it wasn't the first time he had written such a thing.

Will had never met anyone as persistent as he is in trying to make friends. It wasn't by force to be friends with people and he didn't get why he kept insisting on it. Will glanced at him and found that he was smiling from ear to ear.
