Solid Alibi

That morning, at the station, Bernadette was a bit moody but it didn't get in her way of doing her job. The only way one could tell that she was in a bad mood was the fact that she barely spoke to anyone.

She wasn't angry at Walter for wanting to get his mother out of jail after all she was sure that Walter loved her more and if it came to the issue of custody court cases, she was sure that she would win since the court would favour her over an ex-con.

She was just pissed because she felt that she hadn't been around for him more as he needed. She was always out at work and sometimes she worked overtime or overnight. At other times, she would spend the night at Bryan's hotel room and this cut their time together.

She felt like she was not doing her job as a guardian well. She sighed and picked up the tablet she had copied all the information she was working on and moved to Bryan's desk.
