Chapter 9: Everyone Knows Now

(Ember's POV)

----------Next Morning-------------------------

Zero sleep,and to many thoughts. Today's the day, everybody's gonna find out why I'm here and my whole past. I have idea when, probably when I least expect. Right now it's 5:30 and I'm brushing my hair that looks like a rat's nest. I hate have long hair, I think I'm gonna get it cut maybe tomorrow since it's gonna be Saturday.

I'm finally gonna be able to call my mom tomorrow, I already know I'm gonna have to tell her but, I just know that she's gonna tell at me, I have I feeling she will.

But anyways I brush my hair one last time then put it up in a messy bun leaving a few strains of hair fall in my face.

I get dressed then wake Dylan up.

"Dylan, wake up.", I whisper poking at his cheek.

"Dylan, wakey wakey eggs and bakey.", I whisper poking his forehead.

"Dylan, wake up!", I kinda yell pulling his blankets of him and shaking him.

"Nooo!", he groans hitting with a pillow.

"Oh hell no! You did not just hit me with a pillow.", I say in a sassy tone. I grab one of my flats that don't ever use and hit him in the arm with it.

"Ow!", he yells falling off the bed with a thump.

"Time to get up, it's 6:30.", I say and walk away and out the door.

I go to the bathrooms with my tooth brush and tooth paste in my hands. When I walk in I feel my blood boil.

You know those girls, Mackenzie and whatever the others names are, yeah they are ganging up on a girl who looks scared.

"Hey, you bitches!", I yell at them and they snap their heads towards me.

"Well well well. If it isn't miss Jones.", Mackenzie says and I roll my eyes.

"Leave her alone, ganging up on one person, I mean I knew you guys were pretty low but I think that's one of the lowest blows.", I say and they laugh.

"I thought the lowest blow for you would be me blackmailing you.", Mackenzie says and I give her the bird and go to brush my teeth.

"Just wait, everybody will know everything about you by the end of the day.", Mackenzie whispers and I shrug and continue brushing my teeth.

--------Skip To Lunch Time--------------------

Blake, Dylan, Aaron, Yasmine, and I are sitting at our table eating and then all of a sudden the announcement speakers make a pitched squealing sound, and then Mackenzie's voice.

"Hello everybody! I bet you all know of our new student here Ember Jones.", she says and I hulp loudly when everyone turns around and looks at me.

"Well, I'm sure everybody knows of her but not who she is.", she says and I feel my breath hitch in my throat.

I feel my muscles tighten up and I feel as if I can't move or breathe.

"Well, here you go, we all know that she is some kinda mystery but did you know she has daddy issues.", she says and I feel light headed and dizzy. I didn't think it was gonna bother me this much, I think everybody at the table notice cause they all try to get my attention but the only thing I could hear was what she was saying.

"Yeah, daddy issues, she was tooken from her mom because of her dad and after nine years of abuse she was tooken back to her mom.", she says cutting that short. You could here booing at what she said but she continues.

"You guys wanna know why she's here?", she asks and everyone went quiet. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't see straight, what is wrong with me.

"Oh goodness this juicy.", she says and laughs.

"She's here because of two different occasions.", she says

"One is for, assault charges but they were supposedly dropped since she had to move cause of it. And the second one...", she trails off seeming a little scared.

"Gosh dang, she's mental.", she says and all I could do was sit there and listen.

"She's also here for, vandalism, destruction of public property, breaking and entering, hacking into her school's website, and even a little bit of arson.", she says and I couldn't take it anymore. I blacked out right there.

--------Few hours later-----------------------

I jumped awake and looking around my vision still blurred but I could still see some what.

It looked like I was back at my dorm.

"What the hell?!", I croaked out my voice sounding horrid making me cough. I go to get out of bed but fall but somebody caught me.

"Easy killer.", I hear someone say. I rub my eyes.

"I'm fine.", I say my vision almost all the way back. I get up holding onto my bed for some support.

"What the hell happened and the hell does my head hurt?", I ask leaning against my bed holding my head.

"Honestly, I think you had some kinda panic attack or something.", I look up to see Blake as he spoke.

I close my eyes and remember everything from Mackenzie telling everyone about my father to why I'm here.

"Everyone knows now.", I say horrified.

"Why are guys even here right now? Aren't you scared of me or something?", I ask and I hear laughing.

"Shhh.", I say quietly my head starting to feel like it was pounding.

"You really think that what you did is gonna scare us, that's in the past this is now.", I hear Yasmine say the first part and then Aaron say the second part.

"Thanks guys, now I have a huge headache so if y'all can keep it quiet while I lay back down that would be amazing.", I say getting back in bed and cuddling up with my stuffed animal whilst I try to sleep.
