she killed a demon

Evelyn and Bella both had their eyes narrowed on each other. Blaming each other for what happened.

"Let me go and exchange the gold, you go ahead with everyone" offered Mike looking at his dazed friend.

Alex wanted to tell that he wasn't dazed because of the accident. In fact he hadn't even realised about it, if they hadn't told him.

But then how would he explain that he was lost in her eyes! So he only nodded and passed the packet to Mike.

They walked to the distance, where street stalls were situated. The whole place was covered in snow and there were children all around making snowmen and playing with snowballs.

Bella was looking at everything with wide eyes, like a curious child who was brought to the amusement park for the first time.

Anna chuckled looking at bellas expressions but it didn't affect the bella who was lost at the view of festivities or Alex who was lost looking at her.

'If only I could have a phone' exclaimed Anna in her mind. She could have proof to show Mike and to his idiot brother too who didn't realise his own feelings.

But Bella is not the only who was lookin with wide eyes, even Evelyn had her eyes wide looking at Alex who was spellbound. He had that dreamy look on his face. It was clear that he liked demons.

'It is going to be a big problem,' she mumbled under her breath looking at the love stuck Alex.'

"Do you want to play in the snow too?" asked Anna as she couldn't see her curious eyes anymore. She was looking like a child whose parents had denied her candy and she could only look from the distance.

Bella shook her head, she knew she couldn't touch snow. she was from hell, her body was made up of hellfire. She might look like them but she wasn't.

Evelyn smirked, and added, "go on bella it would be fun to see you playing with the snow."

Bella clenched her fist at the comment of mother elf.

"Hey, we are getting late, we don't have time for these things." said Alex, breaking the scene.

To be honest he wasn't in a hurry, as it was a holiday. He too would have loved to see Bella and Anna playing in the snow.

But for some reason he felt that Bella was upset with the remark, her face was still blank, bare of any emotions but he still could feel the sadness and then hostility emitting from her body.

Maybe he was just getting oversensitive but he didn't like the idea of her being hurt.

"Come let's go to that stall, it has good woolen sweaters." he said pointing at a nearby shop.

Anna nodded and followed him holding the hands of Bella.

Evelyn was once again amazed at the care and concern these two humans were showing towards a demon.

'What would they think when they would know that the demon had killed someone from the very hands they were holding so amiably, and that just the same morning,'

She shook her head at the thought but instead of following them she looked at the distance.

There were her children, a bunch of elves were signalling her to meet them. It was the same bunch of elves she had assigned to follow the demon.

But she was unable to understand why they were so adamant in meeting her. If they wanted to report about the killing , then she already knew.

They should wait for the night to arrive, stomping her feet as she looked at the group she was roaming with.

All three of them were busy looking at clothes. Though she could still feel that demon had her eyes on her but she could care less about bella.

So stomping her feet, she moved towards her children. If there wouldn't be a good reason to call her, she would double their duties.

Reaching to them, she folded her hands on her chest and glared at them, impatience clearly written over face. But the elves were silent.

"Why were you calling me?" she asked in an annoyed voice.

Looking at her anger filled voice, elves didn't know how to start. Sure she was looking like a naive beautiful 22 year old girl. But they knew better that it was nothin but just a facade to fool the humans.

They pushed and nudged each other to speak when her anger flared more and they all took two steps back.

"Kenby" she pointed at the elf standing in front of her and he gulped.

"I.. i .. we saw the demon killing today out of the room" he spoke hastily and ran at the back standing last

"And you think i wouldn't know that? Stupid! I had smelt blood on her the moment I met her. Did she think that water can clean the mark one gets on his body after killing." she criticized shaking her head.

But the faces of elves told her that there was more to this matter.

So she again pointed at the elf standing in the front who was trying to run from there but other elves were holding him tight at his place, he was so immersed in trying to break free that he didn't even notice that mother elf was already pointing at him.

"Wenby" she shouted with impatience.

Wenby flinched at her sharp vice and turned to look into her eyes, "the demon didn't kill any human or other living creature… she.. She killed a fellow demon." he smoke hiding his face under his hands to not see the anger filled eyes of her mother.

"What did you say? She killed a demon!"
