Wrongly Accused

"Jia Yi, your back?" as her mother calls out. Jia Yi responds back and went straight to the living room. "Dad is not back yet?" as Jia Yi didn't see her dad. Li Xin Er nods her head. "Your haven't come back home for so long, and you don't know. Your dad's company right now has some problems, so he has to stay everyday late to fix the problems." After saying it, Li Xin Er's heart starts to ache. Ever since Shen Yi Han has been coming home late every night, Li Xin Er has never had a good night sleep. She would worry, and hopes that nothing bad will happen. Especially that time when her daughter, Jia Yi wasn't home.

Jia Yi takes her mom's hand, and reassures her. "Dad will be able to fix the problem. Everything is going to be fine," as she saids and rest on Li Xin Er's shoulder.

"Madam, it's time for dinner," as the servant came out to tell them.

Jia Yi got up and walks to the dining table with her mom. As they were eating dinner, Jia Yi told Lin Xin Er what she did today.

"I found a job," as she saids with food in her mouth.

Her mother looks at her, and can't help but laugh. "Finish the food in your mouth first before you talk."

Jia Yi smiled and swallows her last bit of food. "It's karate coaching. I'll be teaching little kids."

"Will that be too tiring?" as Li Xin Er asks and looks at her daughter with gentle eyes. "I like this job. It's also something that I like to do, so don't worry about it too much." Jia Yi smiles and what she said was true. But Li Xin Er was just too worry since she just came back. "If you said so, then I'll support what ever you do. But if your tired make sure to rest," as Li Xin Er reminds her again.

Jia Yi nods and both of them quietly finished their dinner.

She went back to her room after sitting with her mom for a short while. She takes out her clothes and walks to the bathroom to take a shower. Just before she enters the shower, she saw her arm with bandages. She almost forgot that she can't wet her arm under the water.

'Lu Yuan Ting I don't need your help.' She stands there staring down at her wounds, and the picture of what happened in the afternoon came back to her mind.

Suddenly Jia Yi hits her head, "what am I thinking? He's doing this just because you got hurt and nothing else. Don't forget that he has rejected you." Jia Yi shakes her head and enters the shower. She carefully make sure that she doesn't wet the wound.

The next morning, Jia Yi woke up early and got ready for work.

"Bye mom and dad," as she runs downstairs and out the door.

"Eat some breakfast first !" as her mom calls. But Jia Yi was already out the door. Shen Yi Han laughs and has a warm smile on his face. "Our daughter has found something that she likes to do." Li Xin Er nods her head and smiled also.

Work starts at 9am and Jia Yi arrived thirty minutes early so she can prep.

"Good morning," as she saids to the receptionist from yesterday.

"Good morning. Your early today," as she said to Jia Yi. "Mr. Lu is inside already," as she tells Jia Yi. Jia Yi nods and walks inside.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Come in," as a voice calls out.

"Good morning, Mr. Lu. I came to check in," as Jia Yi smiles. Mr. Lu looks at the timer and it's only 8:35am. "Came early to prep?" as he asks her. Jia Yi nods. "Your uniform is at the locker. If you don't know where it is, you could as the front desk." Then Mr Lu hands her some papers. "Today will be your first class, and these are your students. Do your best," as he saids.

"I will." Jia Yi takes the papers and walks out the door.

After being showed where her stuff are, Jia Yi quickly change her clothes and start prepping for her day. She went to her classroom where she'll be teaching the kids, and starts making sure all the equipments are there.

Today is not only Jia Yi's first day, but also the kids. So, everything will begin fresh for everyone. Slowly kids are starting to come in the Karate School. Jia Yi went out to greets them, and make sure they all get change before they walks in.

She has a total of 15 students in total, and they all sat quietly in front of them. Jia Yi also sat down on the floor with them and notice some of them are pretty tense up. She clears her throat and looks at everyone one of them with a smile.

"Let's all introduce ourselves to everyone," as Jia Yi saids with a warm smile. "I'll start first," as she saids.

"My name is Shen Jia Yi. You guys can call me Shen Lao Shi." Then she waits patiently for the next kid to introduce themselves.

A girl suddenly raise her hands, and Jia Yi nods. "Hi everyone, my name is Le Tong Tong." Jia Yi smiles and claps. "Very good. Who's next?"

"My name is Zhao Zi Jun." And slowly half of the class time they all got to know each other.

"Okay right now, let's know why we should learn karate. Does anyone know why?" as she asks.

"Min Min right?" as she calls on the boy. He nods, and answers. "We learn karate so then we can protect the people we love." Jia Yi is very pleased with his answers. She can't believe an eight years old will say that. "That's right Min Min. We learn karate not only to protect the people we love, but also ourselves. It will also makes us stronger and healthier. But just remember that we don't learn karate to fight or hurt other people. Does everyone understands?" as Jia Yi saids.

"Yes!"

Jia Yi nods her head, and told everyone to stand up. "Okay lets do some basic warm up first before we begin our very first lesson."

Shortly, an hour and a half has pass.

"Goodbye Shen Lao Shi," as everyone said.

"Bye, see you all in two days." Jia Yi smiles at them and waves them good bye. After seeing all the kids leave, Mr. Lu came in to check on her.

"How's your first day?" as he asks her.

"It was fine. They are very good and listen very well." Jia Yi saids with a smile in her face. Jia Yi thought that teaching kids will be a lot harder compare to training soldiers. But it's the way opposite. They were so good, and listen way better than back in the army.

"That's good to hear. Continue to work hard," as he saids and walks out the classroom.

Jia Yi went to the women shower room to take a quick shower. In less than 15 minutes, she walks out the locker room with her clothes change. As she walks out, a kid from out of no where bumps into her.

"Are you okay?" as she looks at the little boy. The little boy didn't say anything, and just hid behind Jia Yi's back. "What happened?" as she asks her. But the little boy didn't say anything and just didn't let go her shirt. Suddenly a man walks out and stops in front of Jia Yi.

Jia Yi turns around and looks up. The same damn face from yesterday. What is he doing here? Jia Yi wonders.

"Hao Hao, come back here," as Lu Yuan Ting saids with a scary voice. The boy shifts more backward, but still holding on to Jia Yi.

'His son?' as Jia Yi wonders. He does looks like him. 'So it's really his son? That's the reason why he rejected her?'

Jia Yi looks at Lu Yuan Ting, and opens her mouth. "Can't you be more gentle?" as Jia Yi looks at him with a stern face. "Your gonna scare him like that," as she saids again without giving a chance for Lu Yuan Ting to talk.

Jia Yi then turns around and looks down at Hao Hao.

"Your name is Hao Hao?" as she sweetly asks him. The little boy nods his head. "Can you tell older sister what happened?"as she looks at him with caring eyes. "Did he do something to you?" as she asks him. "If he did, I'll make sure to punish him," as she saids again. But Hao Hao shakes his head.

"Hao Hao!" as a voice calls out.

Jia Yi turns around, and saw Mr. Lu walking towards them. Then Hao Hao ran up to Mr. Lu and he picks him up.

"Mr. Lu? What's going on?" as Jia Yi is so confuse. "Ahh, Jia Yi this is my son Hao Hao. And this is my younger brother Lu Yuan Ting." Jia Yi don't know if she should cry and laugh. She mistaken him, and now she just wants to find a hole to hide.

"If there's nothing else, I'll leave," as Jia Yi saids. As Jia Yi tires to hurry off, a voice calls out to her.

"Stand right there." Lu Yuan Ting's words sound so demanding that Jia Yi can't but stop. "What happened?" as Mr. Lu asks his brother. Lu Yuan Ting didn't answer him, and just walked pass him. He came up in front of Jia Yi and looks right into her eyes.

"I guess our Miss Major Shen Jia Yi have forgot how to greet her superior here." He stood there with his hand behind him, and looks straight into her eyes.

Jia Yi relaxes her shoulder and looks at him. "Lu Yuan Ting, you must've forgotten something. I've already retired from the military. So, you are not my superior right now." She saids it with a firm voice.

"Fine, but before I think you have mistaken me." Jia Yi looks at him with anxious eyes. "Well, who told you to be so scary in front of a kid. Anyone who saw that would've mistaken it."

"Hao Hao come here," as Lu Yuan Ting calls out to his nephew. Hao Hao slips out from his dad's arm, and went to Lu Yuan Ting. "Tell this older sister here what happened before." Hao Hao looks at Jia Yi, "before at school me and this other kid got into a fight. Uncle Yuan Ting picked me up from school, and he was just teaching me life lessons." Hao Hao is only six years old and his voice still sounds like a baby. "Even that you shouldn't have hit him," as Jia Yi saids. "Older sister, Uncle didn't hit me. I just got scared and ran out," as Hao Hao quickly saids while holding onto Jia Yi's hand.

'Did she wrongly accused him again?' as she thought.

"Okay, okay you guys should stop. Even the father right here didn't say anything yet. Jia Yi you can leave now," as he saids. Hao Hao releases his hand from Jia Yi and walks back to his dad. Jia Yi nods and walks out the school.

"Yuan Ting, why are you being so serious before? You scared her, you know," as Mr. Lu looks at his own brother and shakes his head. "Come one Hao Hao, lets go do homework."

Lu Yuan Ting didn't say a word, and just looks at the door closing.
