Chapter 14 Popcorns and chocolates

Half of the day is already gone, she ate lunch and look around. Finally she was able to find the library, luckily the next was class is cancelled because a professor was not assign yet to their class. The library was said to be the largest in the city, even bigger than the National library. Chelsea don't like books but books contains knowledge that can help her survive, even if she felt sleepy by just flipping a page, she tried hard not to sleep. The library is sacred as a temple for her, she worship knowledge like a real entity. She is not as brainy as her brother, she hates to study, she only learn what she needed to survive. The catalog is all in the touch screen monitor on the libraries hallway, she then take all the books she needed. She hates to read on the study hall it's pack full of students so she took a corner of book shelves and sat. As expected she can't fight the sleepiness and went away to the dream land.

Chelsea was once again sent to the odd palace she's been dreaming recently. The palace has a total of 4 floors, she spent the whole day exploring the ground floor, ate ice cream from the kitchen and checked out the Palaces museum which oddly contained strange artifacts like something like a five pointed star iron hanging on the ceiling, there is also a sword in the middle stuck in a stalactite with a label "excalibur" there are cauldrons as big as a house and small ones and wands. She wondered if she dreams she's in Hogwarts but an outside hall or something. She also discovered an armoury armory with medieval weapons can be found heavy crossbows, axes, swords and even modern guns which she didn't feel comfortable staying with, she also found what looks like a Ball room because there's nothing in it, there's a huge room for visitor's lounge, and then there's the Dining hall were five long tables and chairs are in uniform in size, shape and appearance around it were paintings of people inside the kitchen, and lastly a kindergarten school for the children of the palace staff. Wowa she thought, there are three classes, so even if there are children that are siblings they're as many as there parents.

Her head was a little bit dizzy but the palace is as mysterious as it's owner. She became very curious.

She then went on the second floor, there is even an elevator but she won't use it, it's not as fun as climbing the stairs, even she is amazed how vivid her dream is.

The second floor has more living rooms and lounges like the owner really loves redundancy and nothing to spend his money on. She found a pantry in the middle of exploring the lounges, there is a coffee machine, tea pots and teas on the counter, there are also a variety of junk food chips, crackers, chocolates, cheese snacks, rice cakes and a large popcorn machine no popcorn inside instead one whole sack of corn kernels lying on the floor. Whoa! this heaven for her. There's even an ice machine and soda. She can't wait to try it all. Mr. owner whoever you are thank you for unofficially inviting me. Chelsea murmured. She placed some chocolates on her pocket incase she'll get hungry after exploring the second floor. There was a large balcony at the end showing the beauty of the vineyard. It's a very relaxing view and she stayed there and sat on a rattan chair. She had a mini vacation, how lucky can she be.

At last the school bell rang indicating that another class will soon start and it wakes Chelsea from her beautiful slumber. She can't be annoyed she only smiled stood up and took the books she borrowed to her next class.

Going to her next class, she saw a small garden besides the library, the garden is beautiful, there are vines with different flowers blooming in it. She keep staring in it, she wanted to get in but she'll be late. So she walk straight ahead and made a mental note to visit the garden after class.

Since all her classes involves math and she and math didn't have a solid relationship since grade school, she is struggling really hard like really hard.. she can study all night and still miss what it really meant. Most of the class are math geniuses since they chose the course and she has interpersonal skills, asking for help in a cute way is her ability. She made few friends that are willing to help her. Lucky for Ron she's now her official friend she can tag along with the little group study she organized.

She was really stressed and panicked and she's on her first year. She has a long way to go and she needs survival method to graduate.

A classmate is explaining the trigonometrical formula from a textbook and she needs a pen to highlight it and she reached her pocket and notice that a slick plastic pack was inside, she pulled it out and there is one whole pack of chocolates in her skirt pocket.

"Hey! how thoughtful, you brought it for us?" The classmate took it out from her hand and opened the pack of chocolates and distributed it. She opened her mouth and close it right away her brain is on a haywire. She can't place a reason for it in the meantime so she left it on a corner of her brain and lock it in a secret room. She don't believe in supernatural and didn't dwell in it either.

"Hey Ron, I wasn't able to buy a book in Drawing yet, can I take a look at yours for the meantime?" She really didn't have money to buy and it's not available on school's library.

"Naturally!" Rowena smiled

They went to the dermatologist together, and Rowena was given several light formula and instructed some skin rituals, which she really likes since she will need to spend money in it. Really this rich hates money it has to be spend otherwise. She invited Rowena to her house and cook a simple noodle for her. Which she appreciated a lot, she said she wanted to learn how to cook and invited herself this weekend to cook Korean hotpot which she happily agreed.
