To their great relief, Grace had just taken an interest in Mona's encasement. So she was beside the scanner looking wide eyed at the glossy brown crystal oval floating in the machine.

Lily and Aden sighed with relief. Graceann was know to get into terrible situations that left grey hairs where there were none before and have you saying how did she get up there or in there or down there?!. Therefore it was best to keep her under constant supervision. She was as wily as a fox with the energy of Galaxa's three suns put together.

"Can I touch it mother?" Grace asked big brown eyes wide in wonder.

Lily looked to Aden for consent. He nodded "yes baby but be gentle"

When Grace touched it the "egg" glowed for a second. Gracie ohhed and awed just like her mother did the first time Mona's encasement glowed.

"Is there someone inside?" She asked curious

"Yes" Aden answered "My mate, her name is Mona"

Lily smile as the two conversed. Graceann was the only one that could get Aden to open up without effort.

Lily and Graceann stayed about an hour more in his chambers. But then she was called away to her duties and Graceann had her play date that:

"She just couldn't miss because it was her very bestfriend Marigold from play club and they were going cataloging in the meadow behind the big Oak tree and they were hoping to find the rare Fire Lily so Grace could give mother for her birthday but Aden must kept that an absolute secret upon pain of death because she wanted to surprise her with the gift"

Aden had to pinky promise with a grave and serious expression but laughed heartily when the little sweetie skipped out. He was sure Mona and Graceann will get along like peas in a pond.

....

Later the next day Aden was abruptly awoken when his chamber doors were thrown open. Admitting the two persons he had missed the most since his adjournment to the county province. Aden got up to greet them but his visitors wasted no time in greeting him verbally. The new arrivals simply fell on top of Aden holding him down by his arms and running their hands on either of his sides, tickling his ribcage.

This caused Aden to laugh uncontrollably but the attackers had no mercy

"Cree cree cree" cried their victim tears running down his face, breath lost in this bout of forced laughter. His body thrashing uncontrollably. His attackers upon hearing the concession by the victim ceased their onslaught.

"You both disgust me" Aden said when he could catch his breath.

His attacker unashamed of their surprise attack laughed at Aden's expense. "When will you two grow up?" Aden said crossly.

"When you, brother become immune to our attacks." The twin terrors laughed and high fived each other.

"And how does one become not ticklish?"

"We don't know" they said in union "and we wouldn't tell you if we did"

"Maybe prolonged exposure" One suggested with a devilish grin

"Good idea" The other reached out wiggling his fingers as if to attempt it "Let's give it a try"

Aden shifted away from the two evil doers "Try it and I will leek your comms syns to the castle maids"

The two lost their smirks which made Aden smile

He looked up at the two grinning idiots who called themselves his brothers. He rue the day they discovered this weakness for they had used it against him ever since.

Aden held out his hands for them to help him up off the ground. Instead of letting him go when he was on his feet. The brothers embraced him.

"It is good to see you brother"

"It is good to be seen brothers"

The three of them were now grinning like fools. The "egg" was glowing on and off now catching everyone's attention. The brothers surround it, fascinated.

"So this is your mate huh?" that was asked by Sevarous he grinned and slapped Aden on his back nearly sending him head first into the scanner.

Cirious laughed at this doing the same thing and saying "Congratulations brother"

Aden failed to see the humor.

"Thanks" Aden sarcastically replied rolling his shoulders

The brothers were twins identical in every way. Taller than him, they were big hulking brutes a little darker than their mother light brown hue. With shaved red heads and red-gold eyes they were muscle bond men intelligent and loud.

They were frequently scolded by their mother about their undignified behavior. As princes, she would say you both must have quality etiquette. The response from both would be to kissed her soundly on each cheek and a continuation of the behavior elsewhere.

"Still no news on why she is like this?" Cirious asked this time.

"No brother" Aden sighed deeply "Dr. Fenryi is working on it"

"Ah, you have met our young medical genius" Sevarous gave him an assessing look "is he still alive?"

Aden laughed at this "yes the fidgety bastard is still breathing but I almost burned him to a crisp last evening"

"I'm glad you didn't he is really good at the medical aspects of the work" Cirious added "he is just not good with the people aspect of it"

"So it would seem" Aden conceded "Where is father?"

"With mother" Cirious said

"He sends greetings and said to tell you he will be along shortly" Sevarous said "have you eaten?"

"Barely"

"Come now brother that will not do, we need you fit and healthy for when your mate comes out of her hibernation" Sevarous wiggled his brows suggestively

Cirious clapped his hands dramatically and the servants poured through the doors of Aden's sitting room, bringing platters of breakfast foods. "Let us share our adventures with you Aden, you have missed much since you sequestered yourself in your countryside town"

Over the next hour Aden was regaled of all the twins adventures and shared some of his own. They were joined by his father. He was taller than his sons, seven feet some. Morpheus had mahogany brown skin with short red hair, a bit of white grow at the edges. He was an imposing man but the laugh lines at the edge of his eyes defined his jovial personality.

He was followed by Lily and Graceann. A real full family breakfast. He had missed the noise of his family home. They were a close knit bunch and they liked each other very much.

Even though Aden was adopted he never felt as if he didn't belong. He had been with them since he was three years old. This was his family and now he had Mona, felt excited by the possibility of introducing his mate to his beloved relatives.

He laughed at Graceann's antics she had climbed up on the table to get some ginger bread rolls that Sevarous declined to pass to her. His father's rough voice created a base to the symphony of noise.

Everybody stopped what they were doing as the machine beeped beeped and the "egg" glowed.

One of Dr. Fenryi's assistant was tap tap taping away at the scanner.

"What is happening?" he asked the assistant

"Her emotions seems to be elevated" tap tap tap "it would seem as if she she is...happy?"

"Honey" His mother asked "is she responding to your feelings again?"

He simply nodded and she smiled. "Why don't you go take a shower we'll watch over your bundle and call you if anything happens"

Again he simply nodded. "Thank you"
