It’s been one hour and the fire still hasn't calmed down. I was mostly chatting with Alijah since she’s the only person I’ve talked to. I would talk to the other people but I’m kind of shy and Amy has a problem with me.
“When is the fire going to end,” I asked.
“I honestly don’t know,” I told her.
Pretty much everybody in the room was talking since everybody doesn’t know what to do. I saw Amy in the distance and I decided to walk towards her direction. When I went up to her she rolled her eyes and started heading another direction. I grabbed her wrist to stop her from going in another direction.
“What do you want,” she asked in a harsh tone.
“Why do you have a problem with me,” I asked.
“It’s just that I don’t trust you that’s it,” she said in the same tone as last time.
“Why do you look at me like that then,” I asked.
“Alijah was quick to be friends with you and I think you're hiding something,” she said.
“Well please stop assuming because I am not and please stop, I don’t want any trouble,” I said honestly.
“Whatever,” she said and walked off.
I was telling the truth. I don’t want any trouble, especially here. I wasn’t looking for any trouble and I am not hiding anything whatsoever. I’m just hoping she stops assuming stuff so we could go through this madness without having to fight. I started walking towards Alijah.
“Did you make things better with Amy,” she asked.
“No and how did you know I wanted to make things better,” I asked her.
“I always see her giving you dirty looks,” she said.
We then heard a familiar voice talk quieting everyone down. I turned around seeing the same lady from the cafeteria, Anne Rose Miller.
“Hello guys I know this fire hasn’t stopped for over an hour. It already stopped and we are not resuming the tasks. You guys have a lot of free time and you can waste it on anything you want. Make sure to return to your dorms at 12:00 pm. If you guys go to your dorms late you will be punished. The tasks resume tomorrow and go to the class you were in today. Your free time starts now,” she said and then proceeded to leave the room.
“Do you want to go explore,” I asked Alijah.
“Yeah, but can we first get something to eat,” she said, rubbing her stomach.
“Sure,” I said.
We proceeded to go to the cafeteria and grab some food. We ended up getting hamburgers and sat down at the tables.
“Why does Amy have a problem with you,” Alijah asked, biting down her hamburger.
“She said it was because she doesn’t trust me and that I am hiding something,” I said biting into my hamburger too not realizing how hungry I was.
“Are you hiding something,” she asked, looking at me in the eye.
“Nope, not at all,” I said.
After we were done eating our hamburger she asked me if I wanted to meet her friend Gissell and I said yes. We started heading to her dorm and Alijah opened the door.
“Oh hi Alijah I am coming up with an escape plan to get out of here,” Gissell said. She then looked up and saw me and raised an eyebrow at me.
“You aren’t going to snitch about this are you,” she said, still raising an eyebrow at me.
“No, not at all,” I said.
“Oh okay but if you do I’m going to slit your throat open and believe it’s not going to be my first time,” she said looking at me in the eye.
“There is no need for that, I actually want to help you with that,” I said, causing her to look at me in confusion.
“You helping,” she asked.
“Umm yes,” I said.
She then bursted out laughing. She then proceeded to say that I didn’t look like the kind of girl to do that type of stuff. Little does she know I robbed about 20 rich people with high security and shot a person. I basically know how to do this stuff. I got caught once and luckily they only put me in Juvenile for one year. I basically know how to break into stuff.
Gissell then proceeded to give me a lock and a paperclip. I raised an eyebrow not knowing what she is going to do. “Unlock it with only this,” she said, handing me the paperclip. I grabbed it, stuck the paperclip in the lock and opened it within seconds.
“Impressive,” Gissell said inspecting the lock.
“Can I help you then,” I asked.
Gissell looked at me and then looked back at the lock.
“Why do you want to get out of here,” she asked me.
“I don’t like this place at all and we shouldn't be punished for doing a sin even though everyone's a sinner,” I said.
“I agree with Lexi,” Alijah said.
Gissell stopped looking at the clock and then to Alijah.
“Me too,” Gissell said.
“Are you going to let her help us,” Alijah asked.
“Alright fine but if she ends up snitching it’s not my fault,” Gissell said.
Alijah was about to say something until we heard the door open. It was Caleb in his agent form. I turned to look at Gissell and Alijah to tell them something but they had a horrified look in their face. They must have thought that he is The Devil. Good thing I found out that he is not who people think. I would be horrified than I ever did before. Although I am still scared at the fact that he can hurt me anytime.
Caleb proceeded to walk up to Gissell slapping the soul out of her. The sound of him slapping her echoed throughout the room leaving a bright red mark on her cheek slowly turning purple. Gissell tried to hold her tears but a single tear came out slowly. Caleb looked at Alijah with an angry expression on his face and it quickly softened when he saw me. Why did his expression suddenly change?
“Get out of her room or I would do the same thing to you guys,” Caleb said, catching me off guard.
Alijah and I rushed out of the room knowing why she got punished. It was strange for a person to be slapped out of the blue but I guess this is how they do it here.
“Why did his expression suddenly change when he saw you,” Alijah asked.
“I don’t know but it was weird,” I said.
“It is,” Alijah said.
Alijah and I were just talking about stuff and exploring everything. We started heading towards the library when we saw Gissell and Amy sitting in the benches outside the library. Gissell looked like she wanted to beat Amy judging by the look on her face. They were arguing.
All of a sudden Amy slapped Gissell out of nowhere causing her to get her pocket knife out. Gissell was gripping on the pocket knife hard and was about to strike until Alijah went over there to stop her. I followed Alijah and saw an evil smirk in Amy’s face.
“Why would you want to kill her,” Alijah said, taking the knife away from Gissell.
“She’s the one that snitched,” Gissell said, still wanting to punch Amy.
Alijah then turned to Amy asking her if it was true. Amy then smiled and said that it was. Alijah looked like she wanted to punch her in the face but she chose not to. She proceeded to grab Gissell and drag her in a room. I gave one last look at Amy but she was gone. I turned around and I felt a hard object in my head. I suddenly dropped and saw Alijah and Gissell walking away. I tried to yell for help but I just fell to the ground and everything went pitch black.
I woke up not knowing where I was. I looked around and it looked like a dorm. It must be Amy’s dorm. Why does she have such a problem with me? We barely met and she already went far.
She crossed the line. I was tied up to a chair with duct tape. Out of all the chairs she has why would she use a plastic chair instead of a wooden one. Maybe if I manage to break the chair I can get out of here. I started jumping hoping I would break one of the legs which to my luck I succeeded. Only one leg was free and I tried to free the other one.
I started to lean my body towards the other leg to break it. It broke in a matter of seconds allowing me to stand. I then started working on my hands. I noticed that she had a little knife on her table which I then headed over there. I grabbed the knife and started to cut the tape. It took about about three minutes.
After I was free I rapidly started heading towards the door. When I opened the door to my surprise I saw Amy, Arlette, Keon, Mia, Gissell, and Alijah.
“She can definitely help us,” Mia said.
I was about to ask them what was going on but I heard the bell which means everybody needs to go to their dorm.
