Lucelia finally fixed up her now vacant room. She should be excited, being in a family that should belong. After all, she was going to finally have a family who loves her, and on her 18th birthday as well. School hours were strange. No one would mess with her now: not since the incident.
“Lucelia Merger,” a voice called, though not after a knock. “Are you there?”
Lost in thought, she was deafened by the sounds around her. Snapping back, she finally replied, “Come in.”
“Your ride is here, Lucelia. May I escort you?” It was revealed to be the greeter.
Lucelia, after staring blankly, finally nodded slightly; sitting up with her blue and red luggage. She blanked out once again, following her greeter. Before she left school, she tried looking up her family name, only to find nothing. “Merger” She was the only one with that name. No parents, no adoptive, no name changes-- nothing was known about her lineage. In short, any attempting to gather anything from her backstory, she knew next to nothing.
Shaking the doubt and curiosity from her head, she knew now that she was no longer a “Merger;” she was now “Ky'Vesh.” Lucelia Ky’Vesh, she thought, It sounds Irish. I like it.
After stepping outside and sitting on her luggage, Lucelia waited for her new adoptive-father, only to see a woman standing above a nearby coffee shop. She thought of her brightness rivaling the sun. Ugh… my eyes. Grunting, she took off her burgundy bottom framed glasses. “A bird…?” With curiosity, she placed them back on.
A dove: It was a dove.
Perhaps her eyes were playing tricks on her, but it glared right at her with its right eye.
The dove didn’t dare move for a good while. It only challenged Lucelia with a staring contest. The soon to be 18-year-old girl dismissed the bird, refusing any attention towards it.
Her attention was called abruptly to a large pickup truck that was making its way down the road to her. It stopped in front of her with an unsettling lurch and Kyle's head appeared from the window. He was wearing ridiculous-looking goggles for some reason.
“Hiya Lucy, are you ready to become the new member of the Ky'Vesh family?” He asked enthusiastically. He then paused, seeing her one bag of belongings. “Where's the rest?”
Lucelia darted her eyes, confused. Raising an eyebrow, she got off of her bag and started wheeling towards Kyle’s pick up truck. Once she was near the truck bed, she flagged Kyle over to help her with it.
Kyle blinked, then he got out of the truck in a hurry. “Oh right, right…” he apologized, “Sorry about that.” He picked up her bag and put it in, securing it in place with thick straps.
Lucelia nodded as a ‘thank you.’ After watching him strap up her bag, she proceeded to sit next to him. Once the seat belt snapped, she peered outside the window once again. The dove spread out its wings and flew off. Not thinking much of it, she smiled softly towards Kyle. “Yup. I’m ready.”
Kyle grinned, starting the truck. “Then let's get you home.” With a cough and a sputter, the engine roared to life and the two made their way to Luceila's new home. The ride home was weirdly vacant. There was only one other car on the road. This car: it was following them.

The Witches and the Seed
There was a god named Terminal who ruled all the living, however, there were also two of his children. One Son, One Daughter.
The eldest-- the daughter was named Valkyrie, and the son was named Zander. These two children were the ones who ruled over the land as well, keeping a closer eye. While yes, Terminal would have done these things with ease, he had thought his own children would do the same.
Since Valkyrie was the eldest, she would rule over the land known as earth. Making sure the state of life was in tranquility. Zander, however, had to wait for his turn to rule over the earth. This caused him to grow more and more envious, causing him to commit an act to lose Valkyrie’s powers.
The sister has indeed lost her authority, but he didn’t want it to happen the way he thought it would. Seeing what Zander has done, Terminal cast him aside, granting power to the world of the dead, but only giving him the sinners and the ones who have done unforgiving crimes.
Zander had split her into two entities. Terminal now had two daughters. He named one of them Nyx and one named Amatsu, crowning them both the rules of the land. The two girls were together, working as one. Cooperation becomes sabotage, sabotage, became arguments, and arguments became a war.
The war fronts were on the planet that they swore to protect. Lashing out any and all forces they could at one another, leaving the living stuck to survive and lead to their God to end such an unforgiving war.
But there was no answer.
Centuries passed, and only one cast aside to join the devil known as Zander. Amatsu was dethroned: Clothed in white, yet drenched in sin. As a last attempt to ever free herself as well as Zander to overthrow Terminal and Nyx, they have planted a seed upon the earth. That would grow, waiting for many millenniums for it to finally unlock the key to the earthly realm.
Nyx was wise, however, knowing their little trick, and decided to track down such seed.

The story is now known as a silly fable into scaring children who had siblings into getting along. Many have no longer believed in such stories since they weren’t there.
It’s just a story.
It is just a story.
