This was just another war for Succubina, if that is who she was at all. She had done this before, she would do this again. She refused to forget who she was. All the things that she had done. Manipulate her best friend, watch over and search for someone she didn’t want to, and work with her brother to protect the land she had partially created.
Ametsu was frustrated with what was happening, but she had to focus on the task at hand. She needed to clear her head. She needed to fight for people she never thought of considering to care about. The thought of Dimitri, Dr. Kenneth, and now Sabrina, was completely rushing within her in worry. If the earth itself was not a motive at all, then they were. However, since she was in the form of a teenager for so long, she had completely locked away her true potential, only causing her to use whatever she already had.
“You’re a disappointment, Ametsu,” A cold hearted voice called.
“I’m you,” Ametsu countered, “Now show yourself.”
The same face, the same attire. One clothed in black and yet free of dirt, the other clothed in white, and yet covered in sin. “Ametsu, please repent. You shouldn’t have strayed from our goal in the first place, now look at what you have done, you have forced me to do what I never wanted.”
“You hated this planet! You swore you’d protect them, and by one little slip, you decided to kill them all!”
“I don’t hate this planet, I was just taking orders from Terminal, but now he’s gone.” the woman confessed solemnly.
“Nyx…” Ametsu whimpered, “You’re lying… Terminal wouldn’t have wanted this, stop this madness! You’re tainting Terminal’s name!”
“Shut up!” Nyx demanded, unsheathed what was thought to be a dagger, “I’m doing this in the name of our father! You’ve lost last time, and you will lose again!” with one swipe in the air, a wave of black, cold smoke crashed into the resilient Ametsu. Unfortunately, she was flung into a wall of rubble, giving an excruciating sting. Stepping over to the now weakened Ametsu, Nyx gashed her stomach, twisting the blade as she smirked. Ametsu knew that Nyx had that rush of energy. This wasn’t her! That would never be her! She stopped her hand. “Snap!” she demanded. Despite the pain, she pried out her dagger, swiping it to the side as her nasty wound healed.
“Wh--” The rush diminished, turning her head in horror.
“You honestly think I would have just let go of all of my powers?” Ametsu hissed. She slapped Nyx, “This isn't you! Stop this bloodlust facade!”
Nyx frowned. “I want to thank you, but you’re stopping my goal. I can’t kill you… but I can make your human form exhausted.” Nyx backed off, crying out for her army of beast-- no: angels. “I’m sorry Ametsu, but I won’t stop until you join me,” Nyx apologized, “I know a way we can be Valkyrie again, I just need you to cooperate. I miss you. I miss Terminal. You’re the only one I have now.”
“We can be Valkyrie again?” She asked. Nyx and Ametsu had been broken as far as they can remember, “T-tell me how!”
“Only if you let this planet die,” Nyx requested.
Ametsu’s thoughts were scrambled, but destroying the things she refused to give up on? “I can’t.”
“I’ll see you later, sister.” Nyx departed, letting her army of angels lash out at Ametsu.
Out of panic, Ametsu decided to crunch herself into her signature flying too, her dove form, soaring up and out of her ambush.
