The room was silent. The members of team 7 looked between Kakashi and I. Kakashi let out a chuckle.
"Yo, Izuna! It's been a long time, hasn't it? Meet me on the roof." With that, he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
'What a drag. *Sigh* I'm starting to sound like Shikamaru now.'
I felt my marker on Kakashi and immediately flashed to it. He was surprised when I appeared beside him.
"So you really mastered it." He stated as more of a fact than a question. I nod calmly.
"Which brings my question. Seeing as how you appeared right beside me, there are only two ways that would have happened." He starts as I silently watch him ponder.
"Either you already put a mark her knowing that we might meet here or you marked me which I doubt, seeing as how there is no market on me. So...where did you mark?" He finishes.
I simply smirked. "Just because you can't see the mark doesn't mean that it isn't on you." His eyes widen a bit before lowering.
"I see."
That's right. After I mastered the Hiraishin, I looked for ways to further evolve it before I finally found the answer. What's the point in marking your target when they can see the marker and remove it.
It took me an entire year to advance the seal but I added two things. The first thing I added was a seal to make it invisible after it has been put on a target. The second thing is what I call the 'Return seal'. The reason I came up with this is because when Minato fought using his Tri-kunai, he literally litters the place with it and sometimes forgets them when he's done.
Leaving a kunai with a Hiraishin marker on the battlefield field could cause the kunai to be discovered be other shinobi, who, if they were seal masters, could probably replicate it. What the 'Return seal did was basically return the kunai to the storage seal on my shoulder or back to my hand should I wish it.
The reason Kakashi knows that I could use it was because I needed his help when recreating it. He was a student under Minato. He knew what it was like when traveling through the marker so his help was invaluable. Though I could have done it without his help, it would have taken a lot more time.
Though in exchange for helping me, I owe him a favor. He's the second person that I owe a favor to. The first was Anko when she helped me with poisons and helped me build up my poison immunity. It was very useful, it still is. I already had a way to pay off that favor and make her indebted to me at the same time.
I had used [Forbidden Balor View] to stop time around us for me to study her cursed seal. I am confident that I could remove it within a hour at most, a few minutes would be the least. I just need to wait for the perfect opportunity.
She normally didn't take students but I persisted. At first she was reluctant to agree but down the line she was happy with it. By the time I was through learning from her she said that she wouldn't mind being my jonin instructor when I graduated from the academy. Imagine her shock when I told her that I wasn't even in the academy. I looked through her mind, the shock was genuine.
She hadn't told anyone that she was teaching anyone. Only Ibiki was aware that I was technically her protégé. Othershust knew that she was teaching someone but they didn't know who it was. I wouldn't be surprised if the hokage found out through Ibiki. He had stopped keeping Anbu on me since he had already guessed that I could always escape from them.
Kakashi is a bit tricky. I'm curious to see how he'll use the favor.
It wasn't long before Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke came up to the roof. The introduction was mostly the same except that their attention was mostly on how Kakashi and I were so casual with each other. I just copied Kakashi's introduction.
After Kakashi told them to go to the training ground without eating breakfast, he turned to me.
"You're coming too. Hokage-sama wants me to be in charge of your test. I don't know why I have to be the one to do it..." he whispered the last part under his breath but I still caught it.
"You realize that this is completely unnecessary." I said to him.
"Yeah but it hokage-sama's order. I have to do it. See ya." With that he disappeared in a puff if smoke.
'He really likes that shunshin, doesn't he?'
I was about to flash away when someone caught my arm. I turned to see Sasuke. I totally forgot about him. I gave a nod.
"Hold on tight." He was about to ask a question when I flashed both of us away from the roof.
We appeared a bit of a distance away from the Uchiha district. He looked like he was about to puke before he held it in. Got to hand it to him. Most people puke on their first time.
"Warn me next time...hhh...before you...hah...do that." He managed to say as he got himself under control. He guided me to the Uchiha compound. Now that it was devoid of clan members, it was too quiet. I'm surprised that he managed to stay here.
As we entered the main house where he stayed, I sat down at the living room as he went further in to get something, presumably the letter. I was proven right when he came back with an envelope. It looked slightly bigger than what I saw in his memories. Then again, he was a kid at the time. He didn't really observe it well.
"What is this?" I asked feigning confusion as he handed me the envelope. He looked nervous before he answered.
"Before he left...he said that you would be able to give me answers. To tell me the truth of what really happened." He paused for a bit before continuing.
"He told me to give that to you when I graduated from the academy." He said pointing at the scroll that I had just brought out of the envelope. I stayed silent as he talked. I wanted to feign more confusion but that would be detrimental.
"I see." I said as solemnly as possible. "Did he say anything else?" I asked. I could see him racking his brain to remember anything of importance that day.
After waiting for a while he finally spoke.
"'At the moment, your hatred should not be aimed at me, though I am also to blame. When he deems you strong enough, then he will guide you towards your real fight.'. That's what he said on that day"
"So that's how it is. Its just like Itachi to do this. Leave vague answer and expect someone to interpret it." I complained.
"Well, let's see what's inside this scroll." I said as I channeled chakra to the seal locking the scroll, opening it. As I read it, I only had one thing to say.
'ITACHI!!! YOU BASTARD!!!'
[[[The next day]]]
I was on my way to the training ground and I was in a complicated mood. Itachi had written a letter literally begging me to train Sasuke and take care of him.
I mean when you look at it from one angle, it's going to help me strengthen my hold on Sasuke but from another angle, Sasuke is already pretty strong for his age. Having me of all people to train him is going to make it worse.
Ino and Hinata are already monsters among their peers but Sasuke...he's something else. Even in the anime Kakashi said that Naruto was his favorite student because Sasuke picked up what he was taught too quickly.
If simply training with Kakashi and Orochimaru made him very strong, what would happen to someone who actually has resources. Not that I'm going to use them on him. I trained Ino and Hinata with a lot of resources from the system, I want to see how strong Sasuke will be without those resources.
Though in my frustration yesterday, I recreated a deadly skill to vent my frustration. When I got home yesterday after reading the letter and discussing with Sasuke, I sat down in my room and recreated [Overhaul] from my hero academia to vent my stress.
[Overhaul]
[Description]:[An ability that allows the user to complete break down matter.]
[1st Effect]:[Allows the user to completely break down or disassemble organic or inorganic matter.]
[2nd Effect]:[Allows the user to reassemble organic or inorganic matter.]
Looking back now, that may not have been a good idea. I disassembled and reassembled so many things in my house to vent. When I finally cooled down, my house was a mess. It took me hours to put it back together.
I finally got to the training ground at 7:55am. Of course I didn't come early, I'm not an idiot. Kakashi's going to come late, I just needed to get here before him. I landed on a tree and lay in wait.
Looking below, I could see Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke waiting for Kakashi. They didn't notice me because I was leaping through the trees. I watched as Kakashi walked into the training grounds exactly five minutes later.
"Hi fellows. Good morning." He calmly greets. Immediately he said that,Naruto and Sakura yelled "You're late." Sasuke just stayed silent.
"A black car crossed my path, so..." He tries to explain. Seeing that they didn't believe him, he fake coughed into his hand.
"Let's move on..." he said. He looked around again before asking. "Where's Izuna?"
I watched as the three of them couldn't provide an answer. Kakashi sighed before speaking.
"Moving on..." he paused as he puts an alarm clock on a nearby log. "Alarm set at 12 PM." The soon to be Team 7 looked confused.
He brought out two bells tied to a thin rope. "Today's topic is to get one of these bells from me." He held them up as they jingled upon making contact with each other.
"Whoever can't will have no lunch." He finished.
"What?!" Naruto yelled. Kakashi continues without stopping.
"I'm going to tie you there and eat lunch in front of you." He said as he gestured towards the log.
At that moment the stomachs of the soon to be genin cried out in unison. I could see the looks of despair and hunger in their faces.
"But wait, why are there only two bells?" Sakura asks. Kakashi simply gave an eye smile before explaining.
"Since there only two, at least one will have to be tied to the log. The person will fail since he failed to complete the mission. The person will go back to the academy." He said all that with a smile as they tensed up
"It might be just one, or all three. You can use your shuriken. You won't be able to get this unless you have the will to kill me." Be finished.
Sakura suddenly yelled. "But that's too dangerous, sensei." Naruto as always was cocky and added. "Yeah! You couldn't even dodge that chalk eraser!"
"In society, those who don't have many abilities tend to complain more." Kakashi quickly said interrupting Naruto. I could help but agree with Kakashi. Naruto only knows the academy three jutsu and that's counting the shadow clone jutsu. His taijutsu is average lacking. His speed is not something to be envious of. A failure in Genjutsu and worst of all, his IQ is dangerously low. The only thing going for him are his high chakra reserves and the kyubi chakra in him.
Had he not been an Uzumaki and had the nine tails inside him, the hokage wouldn't have given two fucks about him. No matter how I look at it, from my point of view I can only say that Iruka passed him out of pity.
I won't lie and say I'm not being biased. I totally am, but that's because he annoys me. He's a cocky rude brat with underwhelming abilities and plot armor that ensures he wins almost every fight. I turn my attention away from team 7 to focus on something.
After I had cooled down yesterday, I had a strange thought.
'With [skill creation], I'm able to create skills that cause different monstrous abs unbelievable effect. My goal is to become as strong as I possibly can. Pain claimed to be a god, but could only destroy things. Is it possible to create life using the system.'
I quickly discarded the god talk but I was curious to see if I could actually do it. Create life. A living being from scratch. Unfortunately, I couldn't try it out yesterday since I already created a skill.
I looked down at team 7 just in time to see Kakashi begin the test as they leaped away to hide. I got comfortable as I decided to give my idea a try.
Using [Skill creation], I fell into a meditative state. I spent the next half hour piecing together information regarding the skill I wanted to create. How it would work. The mechanics of the skill and the execution of the skill.
...
...
I 'woke up' half an hour later with a 'ding' from the system.
*Ding!*
[Host has created skill 'Create life'!]
[Create Life][level 1/10]
[Description]:[This is a skill that is normally only able to be performed by higher deities. This is a godly ability that grants the user the ability to create living organisms as they wish.]
[1st Effect]:[Creates a being from the chakra of the user.]
[2nd Effect]:[Allows user to change the being's race on creation.]
[3rd Effect]:[Allows user to change the being's appearance on creation.]
[4th Effect]:[Allows user to change the being's personality on creation.]
[5th Effect]:[Allows the user to insert copies of the user's already existing skills at preferred starting level.]
[6th Effect]:[Allows user to create or insert memories into the being on creation.]
[7th Effect]:[Allows user to modify the properties of the being after creation.]
I stared at the screen for a while. I was tempted to burst into mad laughter yelling 'Beware the power of god!!!' but my [Occlumency] training calmed me down. I was so eager to test it out.
'What should I try first?'
After creating the skill, I then came to the next problem. What to create first. The bigger the being the more chakra used. I don't have to worry about chakra anymore. With the amount of I've used, I crossed into tailed beast category over a year ago. Of course I still trained my chakra control each time to keep my perfect chakra control.
I wasn't satisfied with having above average chakra levels or even Naruto level chakra. No! My aim for chakra is to reach or possibly surpass the nine tails chakra. It sounds impossible or far fetched but with a system like mine, anything is possible. At the moment I've passed the one tail, shukaku and I'm slowly closing in on the two tails, matatabi.
'That aside, what should I try?'
I look around before sighting a squirrel scurrying around. I decided to start with that.
Activating [Create Life], a ball of chakra appeared on my palm, floating. It began to change shape to that of a squirrel. The shaped ball of chakra then began to change to flesh before my very eyes.
By the time it was done, there was a brown squirrel in the palm of my hand, blinking it's eyes at me. I released it to the floor as I got an idea. I modified it's teeth to become sharper and longer before whispering.
"Go and bite Naruto." It looked at my curiously before I realized that it didn't know who Naruto was. I pointed at Naruto who was trying to fight Kakashi. It seemed to understand as it immediately scurryed off to where the 'fight' was taking place.
I smirk as it made its way to Naruto before-
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!" I smirked in victory. I found my new pet project. All that is left is to level it up.
