“Identify Yourself!” the commander called out into the desert, but the old man continued to approach without answering.

“Can he hear inside that storm?” one of them asked.

“To stop future troubles, isn’t it better to kill him?”

“True, but no leader will let go of an opportunity to know what is inside the lifeless desert. Let us wait for the lord’s reply. But if I m right, he will not order for him to be shot down,” the commander answered.

“And no one knows if he can be killed, one must not underestimate a person that walks out of the lifeless desert. The lord would not risk offending him just yet,” Ekie added. Soon, a soldier arrived with the lords’ response they were expecting. They are to escort him to the lord’s palace and no harm is to come to him.

“Prepare, he is coming,” the commander said to the tense soldiers. The walls of the city were high and there were no gates on this side of the wall. The old man’s figure flashed and he appeared beside the commander.
