Vol 2: Forty miles of West bound winds (4)

“Do you have anything to eat?” he asked Ed cautiously as the feeling of hunger hit him hard. Ed shook his head. Even though he was one to eat, he had not really thought of this action for quite some time. It has always been those three that have never forgotten to get food, as such he was unlikely to carry any with him. Looking at the boy he got up and beckoned to him to follow. Helix got up and followed quietly behind him. He knew that he was most likely going for food for him, so he hurriedly kept his pace.

“What would you like to eat?” Ed asked.

“It is not as though this is a restaurant and my choice matters,” Helix answered, but Ed’s eyes remained on him. Even though it was a dark night and there was not a hint of the moon hallo in sight, he could feel Ed’s eyes remain on him so strongly, it was almost as though he could his dark pupils himself.
