The Kareoke Night : Part I

Rain blinked a couple of times, not knowing if she had heard Emma correctly.

Her goal?

Did she have any?

Right now, she was lost..and the realization dawned on her. She had no goals right now.

"Don't think this hard, the frown on your face, leaves permanent lines" she giggled hoping to lighten the mood.

"Let me tell you then"

She picked up her chair and brought it closer to Rain.

It was strange, the proximity made her safer.

Rain was bad at making eye contact, so she always preferred that people sat beside her.

"Umm...we live our life..hoping there is always tomorrow..so we take today for granted."

Emma looked straight.

"It's always.. what's going to happen tomorrow. if I don't do this, I will be in trouble tomorrow, if I do this, tomorrow will be good"

"So set your goal for today" she looked at Rain.

"And the goal is simple. You have to be happy"

"Just that..nothing else"
