Pretty princess Melody and King Gantlos.

Scarlett and Cadence had been walking for a while in the warmth of the sun. Sweat began dripping down their faces.

"My gosh, how far away is this castle?" Scarlett questioned,

"Not too far now." Cadence replied.

"You said that almost an hour ago. Do you even know where this castle is?"Scarlett exclaimed.

"Yes, I use to live here, remember? It's not too far." Cadence said.

They carried on walking down concrete roads, dirt paths and cobblestones. They walked through thorn bushes and berry bushes. They soon came up to a stone bridge lines with silver followed by a large crystal blue river. The water surrounded the castle like a moat.

"This is it, The castle," Cadence said, pushing the bushes out the way.

"Why are we sneaking around in the bushes? Why don't we just use the path like normal humans?" Scarlett asked.

"Because of the element of surprise. What if someone is in there who doesn't want us around?" Cadence replied.

Scarlett nodded in agreement, and they proceeded closer to the castle. The castle was huge, made of stone at the front and coloured stone at the back. The path leading to the bridge was covered with bright green bushes with red berries and pale pink cherry blossom trees.

"Cherry blossoms? Here? This time of year?" Scarlett said, pulling a blossom off the tree.

"Yeah, they're a very special kind, imported directly from Japan. Apparently, they're a pain to maintain." Cadence laughed.

The bridge led to a set of iron fences, roses wrapped in between the bars. The left side of the stone wall had ivy creeping up as far as you could see. Guards were standing up on the top of the wall or the battlements. They were watching over the river, one was particularly curious in Scarlett. Behind the stonewall, you could count eight towers and one really tall one at the back. The towers were coloured white with blue roofs, the tall one was grey with a black roof. Roses were blooming from the cracks in the walls. The towers were lined with gold and each third tower had a stack of four windows, every other one had either three or five stacked windows. The tall tower and the main ballroom tower had large centre windows on all sides and a balcony.

"This is beautiful. I can't remember the last time I was here." Scarlett exclaimed.

"I know, its amazing. That grey one at the back was your tower, you were obsessed with rapunzel so, we had a special tall one build just for you." Cadence smiled.

"That's amazing. I forgot how big this place was, The river is beautiful and the flowers smell amazing. This gives me Disney palace vibes." Scarlett said.

Cadence giggled to herself followed by a smile. They walked up to the gates before being halted by a guard.

"Wait! Who goes there?" They yelled before jumping down in front of Cadence and Scarlett.

"It's me, Queen Cadence," Cadence said.

"Queen cadence? I do not recognize you? Are you with Heath? Wheres king Orgon?" The guard questioned.

"Cadence is not with Heath. He died in battle by my blade. As for king Orgon, He died years ago because of Heath. Forgive me, I am princess Scarlett." Scarlett replied.

"Princess Scarlett? As in, Scarlett Luna? the runaway princess?" The guard asked.

"You're full of questions. Yes, Princess Scarlett Luna. I left years ago because of some life changes I was going through. This is Cadence's castle and we demand it back." Scarlett explained

"My apologies princess, but I cannot let you have this castle back. It no longer belongs to you." The guard said.

Scarlett rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue off the top of her mouth. Cadence backed up as Scarlett pulled out her sword.

"Wrong answer friend. Let us past or face the wrath of my sword!" Scarlett snapped.

The guard backed up and pulled his sword out. Before he could charge at Scarlett, he was pulled in to the river under them. His screams were carried under the water until, his final breath. Cadence looked at Scarlett in horror and ran up behind her.

"Was that a siren? I thought they didn't exist around here?" Cadence asked.

"Mum, please. Vampires exist, werewolves and wolves. Of course, banshees, sirens and all that exist. This world is full of mythical creatures." Scarlett said.

Two creatures popped out of the water, a mermaid and a Triton. The little girl was a mermaid, and the man was a Triton. The girl was very petit and skinny, She had ocean blue ombre hair, from a dark blue to a light blue, in a mermaid curl style, Tied off on the bottom with a bow. She had seafoam green eyes with beautiful long eyelashes and green eyeshadow, her skin was a pale ivory colour, and her lips were ever so slightly tinted red. A beaded crown was placed off centred on her head followed by, a matching necklace. The girl had pearl earrings in the shape of hoops hanging down from her ears and a nostril piercing. She wore golden armlets with a sheer ripped up kind of fabric floating off them, Her breasts were covered by a bright blue bralette with lace floating off the bottom of it in the waves of the river. It looked like she was wearing a little dress from the floating fabric. Her tail was blue and green-scaled. The flippers at the end were torn and jagged in almost black colour like someone had just hacked at her fins. The girl had a Jagged end sword in her hand. It looked like it was made of a fish skeleton. There were sharp points all down the blade to the handle, which was coloured black.

The man, on the other hand, was big and buff, like he worked out every day. He had bright green eyes, Black eyeshadow, same coloured skin and pale lips. He had long red hair almost, ginger coloured. He had a crown placed upon his head, golden with pearls in it followed by, a matching pearl and golden chained necklace. He wore the same golden armlets the young girl did and a huge gold ring place upon his index finger on his left hand. Down both of his arm were tattoos, tribal, sailor and ocean themed. The man had a nostril piercing, eyebrow piercing and one of his ears done with a black pearl hanging down. His torso was very well built, you could see the lines of his six-pack very clearly. His body morphed down into a shark kind of tail. His tail was a midnight blue colour, with two fins midway down, and the end of his tail split into two fins, unlike the little girls tail, who just morphed into one mermaid fin. The side fins on his tail were perfectly intact but, his bottom fins were torn up and shredded. The man pulled his arm out of the water to reveal lines down his arm, kind of like jellyfish sting lines. In his hand was a huge black trident, almost the size of him.

"Who the hell are they?" Scarlett asked Cadence.

"You don't want to know. Although, I think you may very soon." Cadence replied.

"Who the heck are you two? I am Gantlos Tempest, the king of these waters. What are you doing here?" Gantlos asked,

"We've come to claim our castle back," Cadence yelled down.

Gantlos and the girl sank back into the water before a massive wave of water crashed over the bridge, to reveal, two people, standing in front of Scarlett and Cadence. It was Gantlos and the little girl. The girl's mermaid tail had turned into a green and blue layered mini skirt, with lace trimming and bows on the side. She wore knee-high blue boots matching her skirt and bralette. Gantlos's tail had turned into a pair of blue-tinted black jeans and a belt with shark teeth handing off it. Followed with a pair of black torn up cowboy boots. The girl's sword stayed the same fishbone style. On the other hand, Gantlos's trident had become a black katana with a silver handle.

"I thought Mermaids and Tritons couldn't walk on land?" Scarlett asked curiously.

"Be careful who you talk to. I am Melody Tempest, princess of these waters. Don't be so foolish girl, This isn't the little mermaid, my daddy doesn't make me stay home all day because earth is a dangerous place. Please, we can walk on land if we want to." Melody said.

"Oh god, she uses daddy, You know? She really does remind me of those pretty pink princesses. Oh, Daddy, I love him." Scarlett mocked.

"Scarlett stop it, That's not funny." Cadence snapped.

Scarlett stopped laughing to herself and rolled her eyes at Cadence.

"Forgive her, That Princess Scarlett Luna and I'm Queen Cadence Luna. We mean no harm, I just want my castle back." Cadence explained.

"Princess Scarlett? As in the vampire and vampire hunter? " Gantlos asked,

Scarlett sighed and nodded.

"Yes, as in the princess who ran away, that is me. Now, can we have the castle back or not?" Scarlett asked.

"No, this is our land. Go away!" Melody snapped.

"Forgive me princess, but how the heck are you going to fight me in like six-inch heel boots. I mean look at you, A bralette and a mini skirt with knee-high boots. What at you? a pole dancer?" Scarlett laughed.

"Don't underestimate her Scarlett," Gantlos said.

"Heres a deal for you Queen Cadence. Your dear Scarlett fights my princess and whoever wins can claim the castle. If Melody loses, we will call it peace and leave. If Scarlett loses, you guys turn around, leave and never come back or I will kill you. Deal?" Ganlos asked, with his arm out.

"You want me to deal with my daughter's life? that's a pretty serious deal." Cadence said.

"Just do it, I can beat this pretty princess any day" Scarlett cocked.

Cadence nodded and shook Gantlos's hand. They walked off to the side, leaving Scarlett and Melody on the bridge. Ready to fight.
