"May we get inside?" The man with a tricky smile wearing a polo with undone buttons and ripped jeans then yellow-tinted sunglasses asked one of the guards. He has a scar trailing from his cheekbone down to his jaw, serving him a threatening look. The guards on the other side were alarmed when one of the men wearing black clothing with a gun stepped in.
"I'm sorry, Sir. We're not allowed to let you in." The guard with a muscular physique explained. The leader grinned and slammed his hands on the black and thick metal of the gigantic gate.
"Let them." The male student with faded blue hair behind the guards commanded. He's carrying a black bag. The man wearing sunglasses smirked while the student made his way to them. "Here's like what's on the deal. Did you deliver the drugs on the place?" He asked with an emotionless tone but he keeps his voice low. The securities watched them while trying to not distract themselves.
"Now, where's Haru, Yen, and Raiden?" The blue-haired student got pulled by his collar, causing him to get slammed on the gate.
"You said that those rascals are here, now tell me where are they?" He emphasizes every word he said and tugged him more, causing the student to winced.
"I-Inside, they're inside. T-Tala building." The man let go of him yet, the leader motioned his men to do what they want.
Everything goes into slow motion as the first armed man pulled the trigger and the rest followed him. The deafening sounds of the gun and their evil laughter can be heard there. The bullets fell on the asphalt floor together with the security with fatal wounds. They didn't show any mercy to the guards and even to the blue hair student.
After confirming that there are no guards are alive, their leader commanded one of his men to open the gate for them. He stopped on this step and lowered himself to the deceased student.
"Stupid." He spits on his face before he continued to walk inside.
The hallways are peaceful, no students can be seen in the other places since it's class hours. Their leader stopped in front of the school map near to the bulletin board.
"Tala building, I see. Follow me." He said before he takes a path towards the building. His men immediately followed him towards the building.
The dean who's monitoring the floor probably noticed him and his men, making the mid 60's man narrow his eyes at them.
"May I know your businesses here? As far as I know, Sir, you and your companions are not allowed here especially you're carrying firearms." Gregory came explained and motioned the students who tried to check out what's happening outside to went back on listening. The leader of the armed men smirked and pulled out his gun which he pinned on his side by his jean's waistline. Gregory raised his hands in the air as a sign of surrender.
"What's your business here, Martin?" The leader motioned five of his men too went towards the dean after the man asked him that. They aimed their guns at Gregory and motioned him to put his hands behind his head and motioned him to kneel on the ground.
"So you know me?" Martin laughed and looked at his men who are standing behind him, waiting for his orders.
"Scatter in three groups. Thirty in searching for the three rascals, thirty in guarding the next two buildings, and the remaining twenty stay here with me." They all nodded and obeyed him. The remaining twenty are eyeing every student inside the classroom yet, still waiting for their leader's next orders. Martin faced Gregory and smirked at him before he lowered to the older man's level.
"Where're the three rascals, dean?" Gregory furrowed his brows at him while trying to process Martin's words on his mind.
"Who? My students are not rascals." He said. Martin smiled in a cocky way and pressed the cold muzzle of his gun at Gregory's temple.
"Don't lie. I know those three are just hiding here." He said playfully, regardless of how playful his tone is, that means danger to his men and for Gregory.
"Where did you hide them?"
"Hiding? I'm not hiding anyone here! Oh! Wait, I know it now." He looked at the leader who's waiting for his next words.
"I'm hiding chocolates in my drawer." Martin loses his cool and pressed the gun on his temple more, causing the man to hiss in pain. Martin dropped his gun and looked at the remaining twenty of his men.
"Chocolates huh?" He glanced at Gregory.
"I'm declaring a hostage-taking. Those students, including the teachers, from this floor to the lowest floor, make none of them got on the corridors. If they fight you, don't hesitate to shoot them." They nodded and scattered. Martin can see how pissed and mad Gregory is.
"Every 20 minutes, I'm going to kill each one of your students until those three rogues showed up." Gregory's eyes widened and stare at the mafia leader in shock and terror. His students are also important to him, he cares about them too much and he treated Class 10 like his normal students too.
"Just kill me instead of my students!" Martin laughed hysterically and tilted his head as he looked at him in mischief.
"Aww, what a heroic part of you, dean. You're willing to sacrifice yourself for them huh? What if I.." He pointed two of his fingers bedside his head like a gun and pulled it away as if he shoots his head.
"You instead? Huh? What about that?" Gregory glared at him before he smiled full of pride.
"Go on, I know you can't. All you do is to threaten powerless individuals like me, you're scaring me because I'm a weak senior citizen and I can't fight you especially you have a gun."
As her class finished, Hera put the heavy book on her table before she went inside of the CCTV control room and furrowed her brows after finding out that the monitors are turning static. Hera pulled the swivel chair and sit on it before she fixed the system. The teacher stood up from the swivel chair with wide eyes inside of the CCTV control room and immediately dialed someone's telephone number. After three rings, the call got answered but the person on the other line didn't speak up.
"Captain Artemis, it's an emergency. The Priam Videlle have trespassers. They're now inside the Tala building and declared hostage-taking. They're 86 men in total, including their leader. They killed all the guards and even a student from the entrance and now---" Hera balled her hand into a fist after she heard the loud bang from the 57th monitor.
"They're slowly killing the students every twenty minutes. They're taking the dean and other students as their hostages. I'm from my last class after I went here." She walked closer to the monitors and typed something on the keyboard.
"They've been here 30 minutes before my last class ended." Hera uses the mouse and clicked it then close footage of Martin popped up on the screen.
"Martin Lopez, the new leader of the gang named 'Serpents'. They're the notorious group that was under our surveillance. The Serpents got silenced for years after their previous leader died. They're here to search for three people that I think they're planning to kill. Captain, we're waiting for your orders." After that, she turned off the call then slid her phone inside of his coat's pocket, and pressed the special button of her watch. She aimed it to the other side of the room and a blue orb hit the wall then the hole appears as if the wall is slowly devoured by the blue orb. On the other side, the school clinic can be seen and before Hera stepped in, she looked at the 57th monitor again.
"No cops should be involved here or else the 20 minutes will be 5 minutes!" Martin yelled and it can be heard through the monitor. Hera immediately stepped inside before the hole finally disappeared.
"Hera?! Why you're here?!" Kai asked her in panic and immediately checked if there's another person there aside from them. He gives the woman a questionable look after he locked the door.
"There's a hostage-taking happening at the Tala building, we should inform the others too and wait for the headmistress's orders. I'll explain the whole happening later." She replied before the hole appears on the other side of the room and Artemis stepped out.
"We got our first mission from the headmistress. We should go to the abandoned building at the east wing." Their Captain announced.
"Hey, what happened?" Demeter asked them after they stepped outside of the hole that immediately closed.
"Gang attack. Mr. Gregory is also a hostage too." Kai explained while staring at his captain's counterpart.
"Where's Nine and Trance?" Yue asked her again.
"We send them an emergency signal. Nine and Trance are probably on their way here." Kai answered her this time while staring at his twin pistols before he leaned on the pillar behind him.
"Priam Videlle has high security but all of it got futile. All of the securities are found dead at the entrance and before they defend themselves, the intruders shoot them." Cath added before she told them what happened.
