Chapter 1

"Dad!"

That wasn't an exaggeration.

Standing in front of her is her father whom she knew the day she was born. He was wearing a perfectly ironed suit, his coat hanging on his arms, with a shiny black shoes and a very neatly combed hair.

Her father looked at her indifferently, a frown is visible in his forehead.

Jade also looked at her father who is strangely dressed.

As far as she can remember, her father is not fond of wearing these luxurious things. Because they have debt, they don't have the money to buy something luxurious and branded clothes like this. At most, they will go to thrift shops and buy something decent.

Even she, the youngest, did not even experienced wearing such high end shirts from different brands.

Jade breathed a sigh after seeing her father, though he looks a bit strange with that serious expression and suit.

Jade smiled and started acting cute. This is her ultimate weapon whenever she wants something (albeit her parents can't afford it).

Jade put her petite hands below her chin making a V shape, pouting her lips, then blinking her big eyes.

"Da~ddy"

"Get out of the way."

Jade was speechless.

Her father would never do it. She remembered that he would hug her every time she does this, so what is he playing now?

"Aren't you going to school? What are you doing dillydallying?"

"School....?"

"Get your Miss and ready her for school. Now!"

Jade shivered at her father's cold attitude. She stared at him unblinking until she felt the hands tightly holding both of her arms.

She tried to get away and shove their hands but they are stronger despite being in an old age.

Jade resigned to her fate and let the maids dragged her to her room.

After enduring a good half an hour, she is finally finished and rolling her eyes, she walked down the stairs stomping her feet.

There is also a scowl on her face.

Descending down from the stairs, she saw her two older brothers looking up at her.

Clepe, the oldest, sneered at her and proceeded walking out of the house. Keab, the second oldest, throwed her a look of disgust then walked out after Clepe.

'Waah... They are also ignoring me?! How dare them? If I tell Mom about them, I'll see how they can keep their heads up!'

Jade have many anger inside her stomach that she swallowed down when she saw the nannies staring at her weirdly.

"Fine, fine, fine! I'll go, okay?!"

She grumpily walked out of the door. But at least, she had a good breakfast even though, it was a quick bite.

Indeed, even a quick breakfast is luxurious. If it is her normal life, she can't buy it even if she pay it with her life.

There is a black car waiting for her outside. Jade rolled her eyes and hop inside in a huff.

Unexpectedly, there was a young man sitting inside the car beside her. She looked at that boy and turned her gaze away. She had no time to admire his beauty.

After calming down for a little while, she looked beside her to see that man looking down at his book.

Ever since hopping in the car, he did not even look at her.

The boy had a brown straight hair, curly long eyelashes and a decent pointed nose. Jade wanted to look at his eyes.

'Is that book so interesting he did not even look at me? I'm so beautiful in this life.'

She pouted and looked out of the window.

She then remembered that she feels like she is living in a life completely different from what she was accustomed to.

She doesn't have any answer but hopefully, she can have when she goes to the school.

She crossed her arms on her chest turning her attention to the sceneries they are driving into.

'City life is really different from life in the province...sigh...'

From afar, she can see a big gate swarmed by number of students getting down from their own service.

When it is their turn, she readied and went to open the door. She suddenly heard a masculine voice behind her.

"Wait."

She felt the boy opened the door on the other side and went to open the door for her.

She was confuse for a moment but decided to just be okay with it. How much probability that someone as gorgeous as this man voluntarily opened the door for you? A little to none!

When she got out of the car, girls started to shout at the top of their lungs.

"Jean Pierre Morris! Be mine!"

"Heather Jade Aczen! How can you be so beautiful?!"

"You're really a match made in heaven!"

"How to be you, Heather Jade Aczen! Gimme your fiancé!"

Jade was startled for a moment, her eardrums seemed to explode for a moment.

Being an introvert all her life, Jade rolled her eyes and gave an impatient look to the people shouting.

The girls immediately stopped shouting and made way for them. When she saw this, Jade made an O shape of her mouth.

'Perks of being a beauty. Wow!'

She casually walked through the crowds not until a girl with the same blonde hair as hers fell to the ground.

"Ah!"

Jade looked at that girl. She had quite a pretty face, white complexion and the most eye catching to her was her long legs.

Jade decided to help the girl because she fell. However after remembering that she doesn't know her, she walked past her.

In any case, she is an introvert who doesn't like to mingle with people she doesn't know. She took a step forward but suddenly the girl who fell to the ground started to talk.

"Why did you push me?"

Jade stopped on her tracks and listened. Is it for her? She's the only one who ignored her and walked past her.

Baffled, she turned her head again to look at the blonde haired girl. Jade does not speak, merely staring at the girl.

The girl was stupefied for a moment and started to get up from her awkward position. After seeing that she already stood up, Jade walked away not sparing her another look.

'Now, where am I?'

She walked and walked until she was in front of a room on the third floor of a building. There is a plate on the side of the door: Business Administration Major 3rd year.

Jade went in and open the door. All the people inside looked at her then turned their heads again after a second.

'These people are weird.'

After sitting at a chair near the window, Jade started to seriously ponder about her situation.

It's just not a normal occurrence in her life.

Everything seems to be a dream she is having right now.
