Ch 1 Part 6

Sachi Bennion: "Well thank you father. I see you were looking at the odd reaction Arlynn had upon her face. That is the look of jealousy. The look mainly humans convey when they want something they cannot have or obtain without being deceitful or underhanded in some way."

Adie Bennion: "This is the first time I have ever encountered one of our kind doing anything of the sort. I find it odd that they would adopt this thing the humans do. I know the ones that started out human are that way, but a pure blood. It is unheard of for our kind to do such a thing."

Sachi Bennion: "Well father, I would suggest doing a re-education on all the pack members trying to act like humans. Yes, we have a wide range of emotions, but jealousy was never really one of them. Maybe that will help, I do not know."

Adie Bennion: "You know what, that is not a bad idea in the least. Oh, by the way, I have decided on your suggestion. Me and your mother feel that your idea of a gathering of all the unmated wolves in all packs across the lands. We will send word for a mass gathering for a few months out."

Sachi Bennion: "Oh father, that is great. It should put an end to things like what is going on now. A major gathering one to two times a year, try to get all the wolves just turning eighteen to find their mates. But first, dealing with the ones coming from the Crimson Lunar Tribe first."

Adie Bennion: "You are right. We deal with them first along with our treacherous relatives. Rest assured, I will not allow this kind of thing to happen again and will set some punishments in place for those who break our valued traditions. No on in our tribe is supposed to be feral, so this behavior needs to be put to an end. We will discuss that further tomorrow; it seems to be something we can incorporate properly as part of a reeducation of some of the tribe members."

Sachi Bennion: "Thank you father. I think I will gather up the projects I was working on and set them to the side for now, the medicine is starting to take effect. I will see you and mother in the morning."

Giving his daughter a hug and kiss on the forehead, he watched her walk to her bed and carefully place all the items upon the dresser. Taking her nightgown, she walked over to the bathing area behind the screen and changed out of her dress. Putting the nightgown, she picked up the dress and sat it on her dresser. Getting back into her bed, she pulled the covers up and was fast asleep before she had realized it. Her father, still in total wonder at how much Sachi's mannerisms had changed. She is still basically the same, but something was off, and he could not pinpoint it. Perhaps nearly dying has made her different and she is seeing things different now. And perhaps that was a good thing. He knew that she was special and did not dare question the will of Selena the Lunar Queen. For now, he decided he was going to wait and see how things worked out here first. But he was determined to call a tribal meeting to discuss some of the pack's behavior as of late and no one was going to be exempt, not even his own children. He hated to admit it to himself, but Sachi was already showing the superb signs of a proper alpha, the leadership qualities, the ideas needed to help strengthen all the packs, it was already all there. She was still young, so there was still much more for her to learn. He would just have to wait and see what Selena had in store for her. For now, he needed to be supportive and finish coming up with a plan for the town elders. He had decided that in two days' time, they would have a proper tribal meeting. With any luck, in the next two days, the conspirators would make a mistake and reveal themselves that much faster. Hopefully, the pressure of an intense meeting would throw them off, one could only hope.

Heading to bed, her father called it a night. His wife, already asleep in their bed. He laid next to her and passed out rather quickly. The next morning, Sachi was up rather early. The special medicine was just working absolute wonders. She could barely feel any aches at all if any. It was as if she was now practically healed. She was more than sure her mother would have her drink one more round of special medicine just as a precaution. Getting up, she gathered up some clean clothes, taking a tan colored dress this time. Sitting her choice on the bed, she took one of the pieces of scrap and some thread.

Sitting on the edge of her bed, she took a piece of scrap and shaped it into a set of underwear. Using herself, of course to measure the size, using the string for the dresses, she neatly folded the cloth over the string and stitched a seam in place securing the string. It was not the greatest set up but copying some styles of bikini bottoms seemed to be the best option. Finishing up the pair, she tied them on and sighed heavy with relief. Doing something similar for her bust, she measured herself and cut the sizes of the triangles to fit herself. She sat on the edge of the bed once again as she stitched up a rough looking bikini top that tied in the front. Once she had completed her initial set, she grabbed up her clothes she had picked out and headed to the bath. Setting her clean clothes to the side, she filled the tub with the water from the cauldron and proceeded to take a bath. Since heavy scrubbing was no longer needed, her bath seemed to go rather fast.

Getting out, she got dressed and emptied the tub. Taking some clean water and rinsing it out properly. She sighed in relief as she was simply glad to be wearing anything that resembled underwear finally. Going back to her bed space, she picked up her comb and ran it through her hair, placing it once again in a French braid. She then quickly went to work refilling the water cauldron so there would be fresh water for when her parents got up. It was so nice to be able to help do things now, those first few days, despite knowing the reason for it, she felt so useless with everyone pitching in but her. Once she finished that chore, she went back to making a few more sets of bikini style underwear sets. When those were finished, she took a good look at the training set of clothes. They were nice and loose, the perfect styles that almost resembled loose old school sweats. Taking a cue from those, she went to work modifying some of the clothes she had that could be salvaged, making sure to keep close to the overall style they had. She was sure that by now her mother and father realized there was something slightly different about her, but there was nothing they could do. She also realized they would most likely attribute it to nearly dying and Selene the Lunar Queen setting her path in motion.

Once she had finished fiddling with some of the clothing idea, she set her projects to the side, she searched the house to see if anyone could actually read or write, she was curious to know. Finally, she managed to find some papers tucked away on a table. To her surprise, they actually could write. She had mainly studied French when she was in her original world but had spent most of her time learning several languages. Due to the fashion world's competitive nature, she had learned at least five additional languages past her own. As a descendant of Celtics in her original world, she already spoke the language well as it was a mix of English and Welsh. Though for her job, she had learned, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish. Sighing in relief that if she wrote out a note for her father's meeting, it would definitely be understood. She quickly jotted down some useful ideas for the reeducation concept and tentative plans for a proper gathering of all the unmated wolves throughout the country.

As she sat writing down ideas for everything, she could hear the sounds of birds outside getting louder as the sun rose higher in the morning sky. She could hear the sounds of people already busy outside getting basic chores taken care of as the animals let them all know they were hungry. Sachi sat smiling as she listened to all the sounds outside as she wrote. About an hour had gone by and her mother came forward from her bed and sat next to the fire. Still working on clearing the sleep from her eyes.
