Gift

When our eyes met, my first reaction was to hide my bare hips from Ender but his expression full of desires stopped me. I put one of my legs on Miran's shoulder, who was kneeling in front of me. I was mad at him and I would love to see him suffering from unfulfilled desires.

Unaware of the man standing a few meters behind her, Miran continued her exploration with her lips. Pulling the panties slowly to the side and licking the exposed pink skin, she caused a shock from my stomach to my toes.

I exhaled shivering and holding her from her hair, I pushed her mouth to myself without breaking eye contact with Ender. I couldn't help moaning as my highly sensitized nerves were being stimulated.

Ender took a few steps towards us, without a trace in the snow on the ground, but stopped before he got where the candles illuminated and he waited still as I reached climax. Breathing heavily, I took my leg off Miran's shoulder and tidy up my skirt.

''Shall we go inside?'' Miran asked in a lower voice than usual, without hiding her intention.

Shaking my head, ''No. You go first,'' I said. Although they were not satisfied, the sum of both Ender's and Miran's lust in the air was enough for a meal. ''I may come back tonight. Now go, otherwise I will start to get angry,'' I added looking into Miran's sad puppy dog eyes.

After she left, I turned to the man who can make my heart beat fast from both fear and excitement from time to time. ''I said I would find you if you run away,'' he was the first to speak.

''If my memory doesn't fool me, I wasn't the one who ran away,'' I said.

Frowning, ''I didn't run away. Are you mad because I wasn't next to you in the morning? I had a place I had to get to, didn't want to get you up.''

I didn't answer. I thought I wouldn't care, but waking up alone after sleeping next to someone for the first time hurt me. Hurt by something minor you know the other person doesn't care about was one of the worst things that could happen in a relationship, and I was in this situation too soon.

Ender gave an awkward glance to the temple, ''Let's go back. We need to talk,'' he said. He had suppressed the lust that I knew was there a few seconds ago. He was the one with the strongest will among the people I have used the 'desires of heart' skill on until now.

''What if I don't want to return with you?'' I knew I was being touchy but It'd be a lie if I pretend I don't care and in my experience, when you didn't care about your feelings and pretended to be unhurt, people assumed that you wouldn't hurt, and didn't care anymore.

Smiling, ''If you don't come back with me I'll have to throw away your gift.''

Raising my eyebrows, ''What gift?'' I asked.

Ender shook his head with a grin, ''You have to come with me if you want to learn.''

It wasn't like I have a place to go anyway. ''Okay but you have to say where you were early today.''

Ender took my arm as if he was worried about I'll run away, and we headed for an exit of the temple garden that unknown to me. ''I'll tell you where I was if you tell me how you know the Cleric Roen.''

''A gentle tailor lady introduced me to him. How do you know I know him?'' I asked as I was warming myself with the energy of lust I got from him, resting my breasts on his arm.

He tilted his head in a gesture that reminded me of the fox as if he wasn't sure of my answer, ''I was responsible for organizing a dinner for locals who have a close relationship with the elements. The cleric was also there and suggested you instead.''

''If you're organizing the dinner, why didn't you invite me in the first place?''

''I didn't make the guest list. The invitations were sent yesterday. I wasn't aware because I was distracted by you,'' Ender said. I couldn't stop myself from smiling, it was proof that I wasn't bad at using the skill. I wasn't thinking he'd forget his job because he was madly in love with me.

Ender reached out to take a snowflake that fell on my nose ''However, even if I made the guest list, I wouldn't have invited you,'' he said.

I stopped walking, ''I thought we agreed on you would help me whatever the shit was going on.''

He pulled me out of the way of the man who was about to hit me because of my sudden stop. ''Actually, we agreed to help each other, but you're right. I wouldn't invite you because only those who open the door can get into the dungeon and for some reason, you are not as strong as you supposed to be. Don't deny, I know the capacity of your body.''

''So would you leave me out of the fight because you were worried about my safety? I didn't know you were an overprotective type,'' I said.

''I'm not.'' He too seemed surprised by his own behavior. ''It's just... If you want me to help you, I need to be informed if you have a handicap. You supposed to be noble, but you're just a little stronger than a civilian.''

He was right. Although humans wouldn't evolve as distinctly as demons, level thirty-one was a bottleneck for them too. Our dimension was filled with the energy of Qi available to anyone born in it. Qi could be used to strengthen the body or use the elements.

Civilians below level thirty had very limited access to Qi. When someone gathered enough exp to reach level thirty and completed their level-up quests, the Qi on their account would increase significantly. The strength of their bodies and their relationships with the elements would also get stronger. We used to call those above level thirty nobles.

''I'll be honest with you. I had an accident and had to start cultivation over. Still, my body may be weaker than before, but my mental abilities are stronger. You don't need to worry about me,'' I said.

Ender nodded as we entered the hotel where we were staying. ''I see. The Captain has already accepted Roen's suggestion. I no longer have a say.''

''Are you noble or royal? You can't be far from level sixty, right?'' Of course, there were classes beyond being a noble. It was the dream of many people to reach level sixty and become royal.

Smiling, ''I will take this as a compliment,'' he said.

We were in the room already. ''Where is my gift?''

Ender pointed to a box on the bed, ''Be careful. It is poisonous.''

Excitedly I opened the box and unraveled the thick fabric to see the round thing that wrapped in. It was a whip, and it was made to fight.
