The Male Who Hates Females

"Wow there's so many people here!" Zara exclaimed.

Ayan walked behind Zara scowling at all the other males who dared laid their eyes on Zara. Every now and then there would be a male who gathered up the courage to try and approach Zara, however with Ayan behind Zara they always failed miserably.

"Hey why don't we go home? I don't like that's there's so many other males here, if I take my eyes off of you for one second someone else might come and snatch you up!" Ayan told Zara.

"Ehh, but we just got here! Besides, I doubt you would let anyone lay a hand on me." Zara said with a smile.

"Oh my female you are indeed too beautiful, hey why don't we go home and make a contract with me!" Ayan declared.

Zara sighed, "Now is not the time Ayan, plus I want to see what all the commotion is about."

"It's just a festival, they do one every few months."

"Wow! A festival! What is the reason for it? Are people celebrating something?" Zara asked with curiosity.

"Sort of, every few months, we have scouts from the city travel to other cities or even countries and many times they are able to succeed in their goals." Ayan explained.

"What do you mean? What are they trying to get?"

"More females of course! As I said females are low in population so we travel to other places to try an convince females to come here and create clans with the males of the city. We also use it as an opportunity to trade for things we need. Once they arrive we hold tournaments for contenders to fight for the right of a females contract."

"Oh interesting, are you going to join in?" Zara asked.

"Oh but I already have you my female!" Ayan said with excitement.

"I guess there really is no getting rid of you huh?" Zara said under her breath.

As Zara was out in the crowd with Ayan the scouts who had come with the females began to come into the city. At the front of the line was an odd male...this male has wings?!!

"Ayan! Why does that man look so different from the others!?"

"That's Reiner." Ayan said so seriously.

"Reiner? Oh yeah I do remember you mentioning him back then. What's up with him, why does he look so different? He has bird wings on his back?" Zara asked.

"As you can see, until we transform into our tribe animal there aren't many attributes to distinguish us, however...once you peak in strength our bodies go through a transformation of sort. Reiner is of the eagle tribe, he peaked not too long ago and because of that he has more physical beast attributes now. It's the ultimate sign of strength." Ayan explained.

"That's amazing!" Zara thought to herself. "Naturally he probably has so many females fawning over him right? It seems that the females of this world only go for strength when choosing a partner."

While Ayan was explaining things to Zara, the head of the city began to line the females up.

"Reiner, as you are the strongest around you automatically have the right to a contract with any female of your choosing, please look over them and take your pick." The head said.

"No thanks." Reiner said so nonchalantly.

The females all looked surprised that this male took no such interest in them. As well as the head of the city.

"But Reiner you are the pride of this town! If there are none to your liking surely we will find one in the short future!" The head of the city said.

Reiner looked over his shoulder and with a cold expression, "I said no thanks, I hate females."
