Alex and Tia -L-

Following my awakening as I call it, I got a new notification about Classes and stuff like that, I might've already gotten it but didn't look at it at all is also a possibility. It was really weird and boring but now my status looks something like this.

First off, inspect 'Veritas Lamia'

[Class: 'Veritas Lamia' (True Vampire)]

[Given to Vampires which have been 'purified' one way or another. This Class is evolvable.]

Now then, that's the first thing, second thing is! What was it again? My face twists into a puzzled expression as a sweet but cold voice speaks.

"Skills, stats and effects."

I turn and see the girl sitting there still, eyes locked on me and waiting. I frown slightly and ask with a raised eyebrow.

"How did you know?"

"I could see it on your face, it's easy to read."

I knit my eyebrows and stare forward for a while to think.

'If my face is easy to read, does this mean my mum's mind-reading is based off that?'

*bzzt*

I turn towards the sound of my mobile phone's notifications and see my bag on my right, next to the girl. I begin to move and soon realize my body aches, but something else catches my attention. I look at my hand and see the skin is no longer the light tan it once was, now taking on a closer color to white than normal skin, but not to the extent of an albino.

I turn to the girl but see a mirror and my phone in her extended hands. My eyebrows knit but I still take them, after taking them I glance at my phone and shiver intensely at the sight of the notification. Turning off my phone, I put it down and look at the mirror instead. In the mirror is a girl with sharp features, consisting of: fiery maroon eyes, a small nose and thin blood-red lips and a rosy complexion. My hair is still black, but it feels silkier and looks closer to ash black than the previous jet black that it was.

The most prominent feature is that my freckles, no, every blemish or something that'd ruin my appearance is gone. Of course my best feature is still there, the reason I'm called 'The Crying Girl' in school, a birthmark in the shape of a teardrop right under my right eye, with my transformation, however, it now looks like a crimson tear with curved lines coming off the two sides and a center line going down.

'In complete honesty, not vanity, I look badass!'

I nod, satisfied with the transformation, before handing the mirror back to the girl and look at both of them before thinking of something.

'Back on the strand of blood, weren't there three girls?'

As I think about it further, I realize there were. I turn to the girl.

"Weren't there three of you?"

The girl's round emerald waver and she stutters before speaking in a soft, almost non-existent voice.

"Th-there used to be."

My eyes narrow.

"How long ago?"

She opens and closes her mouth before speaking again, even softer this time.

"She died yesterday..."

Looking at the blanket covering me and thinking about it for a second, I nod and turn to the girl. She stares back and tilts her head a little. I then knock her on the head and as she holds her head in protest she glares at me slightly. I stare at her for a little before saying softly.

"She might not be dead."

--------####'s View--------

The girl with Crimson eyes knocks Aesara before speaking in a soft, alluring voice.

"She might not be dead."

I can feel my body shiver in trepidation and tears welling up at the corners of my eyes. Only thinking one thing happily.

'Someone could see me.'

--------Linde's View--------

I turn towards the nurse over at the workplace, working happily with headphones on.

Knowing they didn't hear anything let me breathe a sigh of relief. Looking back at the girl I just realize there's another one. On the girl's shoulder is the head of the other girl leaning on her, dressed in a knee-length dark green dress with black shoes and knee-high socks. There's a brown jacket, put like a blanket over her. She looks peaceful while sleeping and as she breathes a few strands of her brown hair wave with it.

Seeing that she's fast asleep and okay I smile slightly and turn back to the other girl. My brows furrow as I think about something, which the girl seems to pick up on.

"Is something wrong Mistress?"

I turn to the girl and say,

"I never got your names."

The girl lets out an 'Ah.' with a slightly open mouth and realizes. I smile at her airheaded behavior.

*bzzt*

I furrow my brows and look at the new notification. I shiver again before quickly hiding my phone from my sight and turning to introduce myself.

"I'm Linde from Year 4, nice to meet you."

"I'm Alexandra, Alex is fine though, the sleeping one is Amnestia. We just call her Tia. We're from Year 1, nice to meet you."

I nod at the two and then look over at the bed three beds over. In the bed is the same boy who I knocked unconscious.

"And him?"

Alex's eyes glint dangerously as they muddle to a brown color, then slowly turn red as she looks at him.

"Dylan. Year 2."

Acknowledging the danger of this person's fanaticism, I glance over at the nurse who then meets my eyes. She looks puzzled before taking off her headphones and asks.

"Linde, something wrong?"

I shake my head and smile.

"Nothing's wrong Courtney, I was just going to go to class after resting a little longer."

She nods at my answer and thinks for a minute, she then furrows her brows and speaks hesitantly.

"Maybe, that's not such a good idea."

I raise an eyebrow as a response and Courtney continues.

"According to Alex, you started vomiting blood, a lot of it at that. While you do look okay, it might be better to get something from the café and then coming back here to eat. I'll go talk to your 5th period teacher and tell them you'll be resting then you can just go to your 6th period, how does that sound?"

"That sounds good, do you mind if Alex and Tia come with me? I don't know what might happen during my walk to get food."

She nods, looks something up on her computer before leaving the room while waving goodbye. As the door finally closes my eyes glint and my lips curve into a grin. I stand up and walk over to the boy, Dylan.

Alex stood up and walked over hurriedly. On the way over, however, her eyes turned from emerald green, to light brown, to crimson red.

As I look at Dylan, I can see he's a relatively average person with a growing blond stubble and messy dirty blond hair. His nose is slightly pointed while his lips are dry and flushed of color.

I smirk as my vision goes back to that of the black and white and red. The 'blood vision'. Seeing the blood as it flows through his arteries and veins, I see his carotid artery and draw my fangs closer.

My throat burns the longer I see it.

The next moment.

I sink my fangs in.
