The Red Demon
Anna, Aaqil and Baibars and some of Baibars advisors were within the throne room discussing various things.
" Sire. We have luckily recovered from the time of that great storm hit the kingdom " said one of the advisors.
" Our corpses have also recovered and thankfully winter is finally over and the people can finally enjoy summer that is soon to come " said another advisor.
" I am thankful that the people can finally enjoy some time of peace and I shall personally make an offering to God to show our gratitude " said Baibars.
" Very well sire and now we can finally discuss the matter of the cru….. but before Aaqil could finish a woman ran into the throne room screaming and yelling.
" MY SULTAN! MY SULTAN! "
Anna's heart started to beat really fast.
The guards held the woman by the shoulders while they were trying to calm her down.
" MY SULTAN! MY SULTAN! "
Baibars walked over to the woman.
" What is it? Why is your heart filled with so much sorrow.. " said Baibars.
" It is my baby! " said the woman.
Baibars looked at the woman and even Baibars started to hear his own heart in his ears.
" My baby has become a monster! " said the woman.
Everyone within the throne room were completely silent.
Later at the infirmary within the inner castle.
The baby the woman talked about was brought in to be examined and just as the woman had said.
The baby in front of everyone did not look like a baby.
The baby had a disproportionate body with a large head and small body.
The body had a huge abdomen, unusually small feet and large arms.
The baby also had a hairy body, claws and fangs.
" What in the world is that… " said one of the advisors.
" It is like an offspring of the devil " said another.
Baibars looked at the "baby" and then said to Aaqil
" What of the mother "
" She is resting within one of the chambers. I had two guards stand outside of her room, ready to notify us when she is awake " said Aaqill.
Baibars then looked at the baby again.
" Poor mother. How do you think this happened? " said Azi.
" I have no idea " said Anna.
" Well. I could tell you how it happened " said Ana.
Anna's eyes widen.
Anna then walked out of the informery.
" Please Ana tell me everything you know " said Anna.
" The baby is obviously not a baby. It is an changeling and it was brought here by an Al Ana " said Ana.
Anna's heart started to race again.
" If that is true….. then where is the real baby " said Anna (dreading what Ana was about to say)
" The real baby is properly with the Al Ana… " said Ana.
" Oh no…. " said Azi.
Anna had only one thing to say
" Where is this Al Ana? "
" They are usually by lakes, river and streams " said Ana.
Anna ran out of the castle with all her might and after awhile Anna ran out of the city gates.
Anna was running to a nearby lake and while Anna was running towards that lake.
Bears, wolves, panthers and hawks as well as other animals within the forest ran alongside Anna.
After a couple of minutes.
Anna and the animals with her had finally reached the lake and what Anna saw sent chills down her spine.
Anna saw an ugly old woman with a hairy body and long straight hair.
The old woman was wearing a red hat with fern twig attached to it and the old woman was holding the real baby in her hands.
" My, my. Took you long enough " said the old woman.
Anna's eyes glowed which made all the animals with her growl.
Anna looked straight at the old woman and then said " Unhand the baby "
The old woman thought about it for a second and then said " No. I would rather eat the baby "
Anna's eyes glowed even brighter.
The old woman smiled and then said " How does it feel. Not being able to do anything, other then watch "
Anna was silent.
The old woman smiled again.
The old woman then opened her big mouth ready to eat the baby but that was when she felt something crawl up her legs.
The old woman lifted up her cloths and what she saw filled her with horror.
Spiders and snakes were crawling up the old woman's legs.
The old woman dropped the baby in her hands while she was trying to get the spiders and snakes off herself but before the baby could hit the ground an eagle came and grabbed the cloths the baby was wrapped in.
The eagle flew over to Anna and dropped the baby into Anna's hands.
The old woman looked at Anna.
Anna looked at the baby and then at the old woman.
Then all the animals by Anna's side charged straight at the old woman and tore her to pieces.
Later.
Anna returned the baby back to its mother.
The monster baby vanished into thin air and all was normal for a while within the kingdom.
Anna was walking to her chamber within the inner castle.
" Well done Anna. Not only did you help that poor mother but you also saved that baby " said Azi.
" You should take a nice long nap after all this " said Ana.
" That is what I intend to do " said Anna.
Anna opened the door to her chamber but something was off.
Anna looked at her bed and saw that a woman was sitting on the bed but this woman was no ordinary woman.
The woman sitting on Anna's bed was Anna's mother Archangel Ariel herself.
Ariel looked at her daughter and said with a warm smile
" Welcome home Anna and thank you for all your hard work "
Anna was just standing by the door completely silent.
Tears then started to run down Anna's cheeks.
Anna slammed the door behind behind her and ran into her mother's embrace.
Ariel was gently running her left hand down Anna's hair while saying " It is okay to cry. You have had a long day. Now rest and know that I will stay with you for the night and watch over you while you sleep "
All Azi had to say was
" Anna's mother is so pretty!!! "
And all Ana had to say was " Indeed "
