The Demon of Fire

" Wow Anna. You look pretty beat up " said Hadil.

Anna's whole body was all bruised up.

" Yeah. His majesty has been training me none stop these couple of weeks " said Anna.

(Flashback to Anna's training with Baibars)

Anna and Baibars were training with swords.

Anna and Baibars clashed with their swords and that was when Baibars kicked Anna in her stomach sending her flying on the training field near the inner castle.

" If you expect a battle to be fair then your training stops here and now " said Baibars.

Aaqil was standing near the training field and watched as Anna was trying to pick herself up.

Anna was feeling as if she was about to throw up but Baibars noticed the look of determination in her eyes and smiled.

Anna got back up and charged straight at Baibars with her sword in her hands.

Later on a another day.

Anna and Baibars were shooting at target dummies while on horses.

Baibars hit each dummy perfectly and without fail but Anna could not even shoot the arrow because she needs both her hands to do so and while she is trying to shoot at the dummies, she ends up falling down the horse due to lack of balance.

" A warrior must be able to do many things at once on a battlefield " said Baibars.

Anna was covered in mud and blood but she refused to give up.

Anna got back up and mounted her horse again.

" Anna please don't over do it " said Azi.

Anna looked at Azi from atop her horse and then said (with a smile covered in blood)

" This is nothing "

Later on a another day.

Anna and Baibars were training with spears.

Baibars brought the end of his spear (the end that did not have the blade on it) straight into Anna's guts.

Anna fell to her knees and threw up this time.

Aaqil walked over to Baibars.

" Sire. Don't you think that you are being too hard on her. She is just a child after all " said Aaqil.

" I went through a lot tougher training then her when I was her age and besides. It seems that she is not giving up " said Baibars.

Baibars and Aaqil looked over at Anna and saw Anna get back up (all bloody and beating) ready for more training.

Baibars continued training Anna in all sort of combat and far above within God's sacred garden.

Archangel Ariel was seeing everything her daughter was going through and then let out a sigh.

(Back to the present time)

" I got that you are the sultan's assistance and all but he could take it a bit easy on you " said Asia.

" No. As you say, I am the assistance of the sultan which means that I am also a target for the enemies of the sultan. The sultan's enemies would want to capture me and try to get information out of me. The sultan is just making sure I can protect myself " said Anna.

" Even so. He could just be a little gentle " said Azi a little annoyed.

Anna just smiled.

" So Anna what do you want to do today " said Hadil with a smile.

" I want to go into one of the nearby forest to collect some herbs that should help with speeding up my recovery. I need to be ready for training as soon as possible " said Anna.

Hadil and Asia just looked at Anna.

"... what is it? " said Anna.

" You is whats up. It is always books or training with you. TRY TO ENJOY YOUR CHILDHOOD FOR ONCE! " said Hadil.

" I get wanting to study and train but be sure not to over do it " said Asia.

Anna looked down at the ground.

" I am sorry but my mind is made up " said Anna.

Both Hadil and Asia sighed.

" Fine. We can always do something fun another time but for now let us get some cake before you head off into the forest " said Hadil and so Hadil, Asia and Anna all went to the famous bakery within the kingdom.

Later at the forest.

" Anna do you have a moment? " said Ana.

" What is it Ana? " said Anna.

" I do believe that your friends have a point. You should try to enjoy your childhood as much as possible. I am sure that is what your mother would have wanted " said Ana.

" You probably have a point but I need to get stronger for the sake of the people within the kingdom " said Anna.

Azi was now in front of Anna's face.

" What is it Azi? " said Anna.

Azi took a deep breath and then yelled (with her small voice)

" YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT YOURSELF FOR A CHANGE! "

Anna was taken back by what Aziza said.

" Seriously. It is always training, studying or putting the needs of the people within the kingdom way ahead of your own needs…. you are also a person so start taking care of yourself " said Azi and then cried.

Anna smiled and then pettet Azi's small head.

" I am being serious here " said Azi in her small voice.

" I know that you are but please do not worry, I find joy and true happiness while training, studying and helping others. So I do not regret any of it. Not even for a second " said Anna with a warm smile.

Azi saw Anna's warm smile and then said

" Fine. If you say so but you should at least make and effort to take care of yourself " said Azi.

" I will try " said Anna.

Gun Ana was smiling within Anna's necklace but then she felt something.

" Anna be on your guard something is approaching " said Ana.

Anna was on her guard and her right hand was on the helt of her sword.

Anna looked around the forest and at first she saw nothing but that was when Anna got the smell of something.

" It smells like something is burning " said Anna.

" Look over there! " said Azi.

Anna looked where Azi was pointing and saw something human and inhuman at the same time.

" What is that? " said Anna.

" That is an Djall a demon of fire " said Ana.

Anna looked at the one Djall and saw a human body with dragon like features and the skin of the Djall was the colour of brimstone.

Every step the Djall took, the ground under it was left scorched.

" I don't get it. Veles wants to protect mother nature and yet he sends a creature like that after us " said Azi.

" It seems that he wants to get rid of me at all costs " said Anna with a smile.

The Djall opened its mouth and then let out a massive wave of fire.

Anna ducked under the wave of fire and then drew out her sword.

Anna then ran towards the Djall and then Anna hit the Djall with her sword but upon contact with the skin of the Djall the sword melted.

Anna let go of the helt of the sword which was the only thing left of the sword.

Anna no longer had a sword.

The Djall tried to grab Anna with its burning hand but Anna dodged and the ran away creating some distance between herself and the Djall but as Anna was running, the Djall opened its mouth and let out another wave of fire but Anna was lucky to dodge that wave as well.

Some trees and bushes were now on fire.

" Oh no. The forest " said Azi.

Anna looked around and saw the forest in pain.

Anna then said

" Guess there is no choice but I did really want to beat the Djall fair and square "

Anna looked towards the sky.

Her eyes then started to glow and that was when thunder clouds started to gather within the sky.

The thunder could be heard and then rain came forth and help put out some of the trees and bushes.

" Wow Anna. You sure are amazing " said Azi but Anna was just staring at the Djall.

The rain was pouring down on the Djall and as the raindrops hit the Djall, steam could be seen coming off the Djall's skin.

Anna drew forth her bow and pulled out an arrow from her quiver, at the same time the Djall opened its mouth.

Anna readied her arrow.

The Djall let out a third wave of fire right towards Anna.

Anna let the arrow lose and the arrow was heading straight towards the Djall.

As the arrow was flying, the flames of the Djall were being weakened by the rain which made the arrow fly right through the flames and straight into the mouth of the Djall.

The Djall fell to its knees and slowly turned into ash.

Anna took a deep breath and then breathed out and the rain had stopped since the forest fire was no more.

Azi flew over to Anna and hugged Anna's right cheek.

" That was amazing Anna! " said Azi.

" That was splendid work " said Ana.

" Thank you but I am not finished just yet " said Anna.

" What do you mean? " said Azi.

Anna looked around at the burned parts of the forest.

Anna's eyes glowed which made new life take place of the old.

Within seconds the forest was good as new.

Azi had no words for the amazing work Anna just accomplished.

Anna smiled and then walked back to the kingdom with Azi and Ana.

Ariel saw everything Anna just did and then smiled from within paradise.
