The Spider

A week has gone by since Anna's meeting with Jack.

Anna returned to Baibars and the others where she was greeted with open arms.

All of Anna's friends were eager to know all about Anna's adventures, so Anna had to spend a whole day telling them all about her adventures, but for now, Anna is within one of the nearby forests of the kingdom, taking a break from being a storyteller.

Anna walks through mother nature with the staff of Moses in her right hand, and Azi flying by her left side.

" Mother nature sure is something else. No matter how many times one talks a walk through a forest, it always feels like it is the first time " said Azi.

" Indeed. The smell of the grass, the sound of the birds and the wind gently blowing around us. There is truly nothing like nature's beauty " said Anna.

" Anna. Are you sure that you should be out walking. Should you not instead be resting " said Ana.

" I am fine. I do not feel tired but thank you Ana " said Anna.

" Yeah. Anna is as tough as they came but I still think that you should take it easy once in awhile " said Azi.

" I will be sure to do that " said Anna with a smile but that was when all three ladies felt a chill in the air.

" Call me crazy but do you ladies feel that chill in the air " said Azi.

" You are not crazy " said Anna.

" That is debatable " said Ana.

Azi thought about it for a moment and then said

" Hey! "

" Now is not the time " said Anna who was now on guard.

All three Ladies then heard footsteps walking towards them.

All three of them looked towards the sound of the footsteps and that was when all of them saw an old man walking towards them.

The old man was wearing clothes that did not fit the current era.

" Who is that? And what is he wearing? " said Azi.

" I don't know but I think that we are about to find out " said Anna.

The old man now stood in front of all three ladies.

All three were just looking at the old man.

The old man smiled and then did a gentleman's greetings.

" Hello to you young madam, it is a pleasure "

Anna looked at the old man confused.

The old man looked innocent but all of Anna's senses told her to be wary of the old man.

Anna then noticed the old man's shadow and saw something she had seen before.

" A spider… " said Anna.

" Wait! But thats….. " said Azi.

" It can't be….. " said Ana.

The old man smiled while Anna was just looking at the old man.

Anna then said

" Who are you? "

With a smile on his face, the old man bowed and then said

" It's a pleasure to meet you, Saint Anna, my name is James Moriarty but please just call me James " said Moriarty.

" You talk as if it is the first time we have met but I feel like we have met before " said Anna while sweating a bit.

Anna then looked at Azi and saw that Aziza's jaw was dropped.

" James Moriarty... thi James Moriarty…" said Azi.

" Well, to answer your question, this is the first time we have met and yet we have spoken before " said Moriarty.

Anna just looked at Moriarty still confused.

Moriarty smiled and then said

" I am sure that you will find your answer if you just looked deep within my soul "

Anna's eyes glowed, Anna then looked within Moriarty's soul and what she saw, sendt chiles all the way down to her own soul.

" Anansi….. " said Anna.

" Correct, Anansi and I now share one body, one mind and one soul " said Moriarty.

" Wait….. Anansi and James Moriarty have become one... two individuals who should have never met, have become one " said Azi with a tone of voice that almost made it sound like Azi had lost all hope.

Moriarty/Anansi was just smiling.

Anna was now sweating like crazy.

" What is it that you want? " said Anna.

" I think that you misunderstand " said Moriarty/Anansi.

" What? " said Anna.

" You seem to be under the impression that I, Oh, I mean WE are here to hurt you in some way but I assure you that we are only here to introduce ourselves " said Moriarty/Anansi.

Anna was now confused and covered in sweat.

Moriarty/Anansi then said

" Well, we will be talking our leave now "

Moriarty/Anansi then started to walk away.

" Wait…. so you were never here to fight me…. " said Anna.

Moriarty/Anansi turned to look at Anna and then said

" Indeed. As we said, we were never here to fight you, Saint Anna. There is someone else who has caught our attention "

Anna's mind was now all blank, she did not know what to say.

Moriarty/Anansi smiled and then said

" Worry not young madam, we will tell you a story another time but for now, remember, that death is an art "

Anna completely froze.

Moriarty/ Anansi walked into the forest and disappeared completely from Anna's world.

" Anna! Breath! " yelled Gun Ana.

Anna then started to breath again after her fear made her forget to breath.

" They are truly a fearsome duo if they can almost kill us with their presence alone " said Azi who now also started to breath again.

Anna said nothing.

All Anna did was walk back to the kingdom with the fear of death still fresh within her soul and whoever was going to face Moriarty/Anansi...
