The Master of Soldiers

Anna and her friends are yet again sitting by the bakery.

" So….. Saint Anna, I hear that you have a new friend " said Hadil.

" Well, he is not just my friend, I was hoping that you guys could also be friends with him " said Anna.

Both Hadil and Asia just ate some cake.

" We also hear that he is quite the looker " said Asia.

" Well.... sure? I don't really know how to answer that " said Anna.

Both Hadil and Asia just ate some more cake.

" So what kind of relationship do the two of you have " said Hadil.

Anna was confused.

" Well, we are just friends " said Anna.

Both Hadil and Asia yet again, just ate some cake.

Anna was totally confused.

Later.

Anna and Connla were enjoying a walk within a forest near the kingdom.

" So these friends of yours... do they hate me? " said Connla.

" No….. At least I don't think so " said Anna.

" I see. Then I will do my best to become friends with them " said Connla with a smile.

" I am sorry to say it, but you are going to have a tough time becoming their friend " said Anna with a smile.

" Challenge accepted. Once I start my journey, there is no going back " said Connla.

" Just make sure that you don't get yourself killed " said Anna.

" Wait... will they try to kill me? " said Connla.

Anna just looked at Connla with a smile.

" Regardless, like I said, once I start a journey there is no going back " said Connla with a smile.

" They are so going to kill him " said Azi.

Anna and Connla then talked about various things for awhile but that was when they noticed someone within the forest.

" It is a man " said Azi but the man was wearing gear like he was ready for battle.

Anna and Connla were both on their guards.

" You know, it is common that the young introduce themselves first " said the man.

" I am Connla and this here is Saint Anna " said Connla.

Anna just looked at Connla.

Anna then looked at the old man and then said

" Please just call me Anna "

" Hmm I see, a Saint. My name is Alaric the first " said Alaric.

" I have never heard of him before " said Anna.

" Alaric the first, also known as the King of the Visigoths, he is best known for sacking Rome, it is said that the only thing that could slow Alaric down, was mother nature herself " said Ana.

Anna smiled.

" Well, what business do you have with us " said Connla.

" We are here to kill you " said Alaric.

" We? " said Anna.

Alaric snapped his fingers and from behind Alaric appeared 50 soldiers.

" Well... that is new " said Azi.

Anna and Connla were both quiet.

" I am known as the master of soldier, which means, even though I have a few soldiers, I could still conquer all of Rome with these 50 soldiers " said Alaric.

" Doubtful " said Azi.

" If there is one thing one must never do with Alaric, it is not to underestimate him " said Ana.

" That goes for every foe we have faced " said Anna.

Alaric and his soldiers were ready for battle.

" So, how are we going to do this? " said Connla.

" You take the 50 soldiers and I will take Alaric " said Anna.

" Okay, Saint Anna " said Connla.

Anna just looked at Connla.

Connla then drew forth his Gáe Bolg and walked over to the 50 soldiers.

Anna walked over to Alaric with her staff of Moses.

" I have never fought with a Saint before, do all Saints fight with a wooden staff " said Alaric.

" First off, I do not see myself as a Saint and second, I only need this wooden staff to beat you " said Anna with a smile.

Alaric smiled and then said

" You… I like you "

Anna and Alaric then started to fight but to Alaric's surprise, the battle only lasted a couple of seconds.

" How can this be….. I was defeated by a Saint " said Alaric.

Alaric then looked towards his men and saw Connla standing over them all.

" Just so you know, my father use to fight entire armies, alone, he was known as a one man army and I am after all my father's son " said Connla with a smile.

Alaric did not know what to say.

Anna then kneeled in front of Alaric.

" If it is of any comfort, at least know that you did your best, never let anyone say otherwise " said Anna.

Alaric just looked at Anna.

" I see. I am now happy that my defeat come by your hands, Saint Anna " said Alaric.

Alaric and his men then disappeared into dust.

" Well, that was weird " said Azi.

Anna and Connla now stood besides each other.

" So….. can I meet this Jawzahr? " said Connla.

Anna looked at Connla, Anna then smiled.

Later.

Anna and Connla could be seen riding on Jawzahr.
