I immediately ran out of my room, noticing everyone else doing the same. "Couldn't sleep or could feel the presence of seven figures around the house?" I wondered to myself, feeling the seven figures around the building just as they all could. I was prepared to face anyone I had to that time, but suddenly, the darkness around the building closed in and cracked the windows, leaking into the mansion with immense speed. The darkness closed in on each of us, wrapping around us and pulling on us. We all struggled, but to no avail.
I could feel everyone getting further and further away until they were too far for me to detect anymore. "Shit..! I'm gonna be alone!" I thought to myself, and my heart raced because I could still feel someone outside the darkness I was trapped in. I knew it wasn't any of my friends because I felt them get dragged away.
I got tired of just sitting there, waiting for whatever plan Atiyama had concocted. I closed my eyes and made my body spark. "Let's hope this works..." I remembered the time Akari was fighting Atiyama and that I had hurt Atiyama when I let my mind get the better of me. If I could hurt Atiyama, then why not be able to break through his darkness as well?
I started charging the electrcity around me, sparking even more until I made it burst. It wasn't very strong, but the lightning shockwave I created did the job. I was free and face to face with my opponent, the Plasma Elementia, but I still couldn't see his face. His back was to me and he was right above me, as if he were just riding whatever was keeping me trapped, and he smirked down at me.
He fired one of his mint green colored plasma blasts at me the second I was free, and I could sense the beam barreling toward me. I fired lightning from my feet to blast myself out of the way, spinning around and catching myself before glaring at the Plasma Elementia. He just smirked at me, not saying anything. Nothing needed to be said. We both knew what we were there for and what was going to happen, so we wasted no time.
I let my element course through my body, entering my Element Drive. This was what Daichi had taught me, and Kazane and I decided to name it. Although I knew I should've probably wait to use it, my instincts were telling me I was going to need it. "Oh? So you can do that too. Were you taught or did you teach yourself?" The Plasma Elementia chuckled. "I don't think I really have to ask."
I scoffed and glared at him. "What an asshole!" I thought to myself. "Not everyone's born a prodigy like you." I said aloud.
"Yeah well I know that much." He continued to smirk as his entire body began to glow. His hood still shadowed the top half of his face, but I could see he had white hair since it was glowing. Every part of him was glowing, even his clothing, the shadow over his face growing darker because of it.
"So that's his Element Drive... I better be careful since I have no idea what it does for him..." I thought, and I wasn't gonna wait to find out. I dashed at him quickly, moving in a zigzag formation. I reached him and tried to punch him in the face, but he blocked with his arm, my fist making contact with his bare skin. I managed to push him back somewhat, but he was still smirking. I realized why when my fist suddenly felt hot and I looked to see it was steaming. I hissed in pain and went to bounce back, but he moved faster than me. He kicked me in the gut and sent me tumbling onto the ground.
I grunted, but clenched my steaming fist in my other hand, which hurt much worse than his kick. His bare skin was hot to the touch. I jumped up quickly and avoided a blast of plasma. He wasn't even giving me a second to rest. I thought to myself, "His Element Drive...it gives him the same benefits as my Element Drive, and it also makes his skin extremely hot! If I slip up even once...he'll kill me."
The Plasma Elementia began firing a barrage of plasma shots at me, and I dashed around to avoid them as best as I could. I fired a few thin bolts of lightning back at him, though he dodged as well, his psychotic smile never fading. A bit of sweat trickled down my forehead, being zapped by the sparks surrounding my body. I wondered how everyone else was doing, hoping they were okay. I knew it would be the death of me if I let my mind wander, and although I knew they could take care of themselves, I couldn't help but worry a little bit. Later on I found out that everyone else was facing the same members of the Dark Elementia as they were when they first attacked.
Agni was facing off against Bobina, or Angie as they called her. He told me later that he was struggling to damage her at all. Considering lava essentially creates fire, I can see how that'd be really hard for fire itself to beat. Even though Agni could withstand the heat of fire, he would still burn if lava were to touch him.
Jinny was facing off against Boris, his ice attacks freezing her water and making it hard to get a good hit in she would explain to me later. She knew turning into water would practically be suicide when fighting him, but with her Element Drive she could avoid his attacks and avoid being frozen with slight ease, which annoyed Boris to the point where he'd steam if he were the Fire Elementia no doubt.
Kazane faced off against Isek, and she told me he always gave her a lot of trouble. Even though she could blow away all the smoke he threw at her with ease, it was thick, and would move around her wind to get to her. They were both surrounded by a cloud of his smoke, Kazane only safe because of the ball of wind surrounding her, but she couldn't keep it up forever. Not to mention his Element Drive made him swift like her, and he could turn his body into smoke as well as emit it from his body. It was odd, but for some reason Isek refused to use any gas other than smoke.
Daichi and Kristy battled it out with their hands and feet. Both of them used martial arts, but Daichi used Gendai Budo and Kristy used Koryu. Both of them were using their Element Drives, Daichi rough as a rock and Kristy shining like a diamond. Daichi was at a clear disadvantage, whether his style of martial arts might be better or not.
Hanako faced off against Attor, whose attacks would rot her plants she told me. Each time she would use plants resistant to the poisons and chemicals he used, he'd just switch the type of poison he was using to one that was effective. She was struggling, but she had a constant, peaceful smile on her face, while Attor had a wicked, deadly smirk on his. Attor's Element Drive made his skin purple and his breath poisonous, so even when her plants did reach him, they'd start to rot anyway.
Meanwhile, Akari and Atiyama were fighting one another in the mansion. I could only guess what went down at the mansion that day. Akari never liked to speak of her fights, and I wasn't going to force her to. As much as I was worried for the others, I had my own fight to worry about.
