As they came upon the plot of land that the wizards had made their home Alther couldn't help but think that it reminded him of a fortress, if fortresses were built out of wood and brick and had peeling paint. The main part of the building was a large circular structure with a broken cobblestone pathway leading to the double doors. It was clear that this had been the original building and the other parts had been added on later.
Branching off from the structure were two rectangular edifices, both with newer coats of paint, though it was difficult to tell what color the walls were supposed to be, as they were covered in children's doodles and hand prints which brought a small smile to Alther's face. It was like the building was telling a story.
"If you like the outside, wait till you see the inside," the older girl smiled and pulled the door open for him to step through.
