Rinzen had spent almost all of his teen years feeling vaguely uncomfortable in his own skin. He mostly knew he was awesome, okay; it was just that he was also acutely aware of his flaws. Or at least the things other kids counted as flaws. His intensity for one thing, that often made other kids he was getting friendly with 'back off'. His True-blue loyalty had always been an understatement for other teenagers who just weren't prepared to handle that kind of fidelity.

The babbling thing annoyed most people — actually all people — on the days when he couldn't focus, and on the other days when his attention was sharp as a razor but limited in scope they resented his stillness and silence.

Balance was hard for him, and he had struggled for years to find that line.

Now he was supposed to be some kind of hero?

Hey both turned to each other and leaned forward, Jasmine planted a kiss on him and Raven kissed her back. 


Bell laughed as she watched them both, “What on earth?” she asked. 


Raven hummed, “A tradition to break a jinx, either you call the person’s name, but given we jinxed each other, we can also kiss the jinx away, kind of like uh… how does it go exactly…” he trailed off weakly. 


Jasmine agreed, “Somewhat simply put, it’s that we sealed each other’s silence, and we can take each other’s silence with a kiss”, she answered. “The phrase ‘Sealed with a Kiss’ carries its own power”, she stated, “And these phrases and this game is very old, so the power they carry is equally of a high importance”, she explained softly. 


“Right what she said”, Raven answered, “Don’t you know the rules of the game?” he asked. 


“I’ve never had anyone to play the game with”, Bell answered shrugging easily.
