Monday 9th Of September

Katie starts walking to school, "Honey, where is my kiss goodbye?" her eyes replaced with a broken emotion, "Sorry." she kisses him on the lips and watches as the car exits the driveway. "Are you sure you don't want me to drive you to school, I like spending time with you." Katie shakes her head, "I have to meet my friends for the latest gossip, I have to go!" she runs down her street turning a corner, she stops to search for his car and it's vanished. "Thank god." she holds her chest then remains on the route to school.

The bell rings and Jade sits at her desk, "Miss, Jordan is going to be running late." Miss Herbert nods towards Katie and then starts writing on the board, Katie walks to the back of the class and sits on the floor. "Sorry Miss." Miss Herbert glances over at Jordan, "Say no more Miss Miller told me." He sits on the floor by the window and looks at Katie then smiles, he puts his head on his hand cupping his face to watch the board.

Everyone starts getting ready to leave once they hear the ringing, "Wait a minute... did I say pack up?" They all shuffle back onto the floor, "Thank you... you may pack up, except Jordan, Katie and Jade." The rest of the class leaves laughing and talking. "Jordan 15 minutes for being that late." Jordan stands up, "But-" She points at the floor, "Sit... now for you two." Jordan sits making a huge fuss, "Last Monday there was an incident between the two of you-" Katie shouts out, "It was Tuesday when she knocked me out cold miss." Jade looks at her with an icy expression. "Don't over exaggerate, I already got my punishment." Katie looks away, "Hardly." Miss Herbert looks at them, "I have been asked to council both of you, because until the break you are stuck together. Depending on your outcome grades." Jordan burst out with laughter, Miss Herbert opens her eyes wider. "Jordan! Out." He gets up, "What about my 15 min-" She opens the door, "Good day." He walks out laughing, "Sorry about that girls." Jade picks up her equipment. "I don't need counseling." Katie nods, "This is the first time and the last time I agree with her." Miss nods, "I know how you two feel but both your behaviours in the classes have been despicable." Katie gets up, "Seriously, after what she has done to me, I should be suing her." Jade laughs, "I barely touched you! And the torment you have been giving me, can you blame me! Pretending to be my friend so I can buy you stuff, you deserve worse, I don't deserve 3 weeks of my life taken, you do!" Katie laughs, "In future don't be so gullible, lesson learned." Jade gets up, "If I stay with her any longer than need be, she won't be alive any longer." Katie gasps, "You shouldn't say that, I can put you in prison for such a threat." Jade screws her. "If I could I would've hurt you more than that tiny scratch." Miss Herbert frowns, "You guys won't be in the same class more than likely, so I suggest avoiding each other until then please. Don't communicate during or out of lesson, I will have words with the principle to see if we can make the moves any faster, off to lessons, you have 5 minutes." They walk out of the class, Jade walks to lesson and Katie goes to her friends. "Jade!" Jade looks back. "What do you want?" Jordan smirks, "Rude." She walks on and he follows beside her, "I have my fight today-" She smiles "Congrats." He laughs, "I want you to be there." She stops and he looks towards her, "You want me to watch you get beaten up?" He grabs hold of his chest, latching onto his right side. "Glad to know you believe in me, you could be my good luck charm." She looks at the time then walks on, "What you say?" She smacks his head, "What was that for?" She giggles, "Your good luck charm?" He nods, "Yeah, you definitely have amnesia real bad." He grins, "C'mon, please." She wipes her eyes then pinches her skin softly, "Well I'm not dreaming because this isn't something I'd dream about." He laughs, she continues. "I think Katie wants to be your good luck charm." They come to a halt outside their classroom, "I don't like her." She frowns, "Is this Katie's idea of a good joke." He smiles, "I promise it's not." She glances at him, "Okay then, you'll have no problem dumping her." Jordan looks at her surprised, "Knew it." He smiles, "Deal." She stares at him.

When the bell rings and she looks elsewhere, "The bell, class is about to start..." They walk in, then they all sit at their desk, Jade's eyes start to water, Katie walks in laughing. "You did this?" Katie looks at her acting innocent, "Whom, me? I just walked in." Jade wipes her tears, "Is this funny to you!" Mr. Johnson shouts! "No more of this! Sit!" Jordan pushes his desk and then picks up Jades and swaps it, "Jordan!" He smirks, Katie walks to her seat and Jordan sits down, Jade examines his desk. "Oh... woah..." she whispers quietly then thinks about what's on her desk.

The noise telling everyone it's the end of class stops Jade's train of thought, Katie grabs Jordan's arm, "How dare you!" He laughs, "Jade, come here real quick." She stares and slowly walks over, "What are you doing!" Jade stands there, "Yes?" His eyes widen as he takes a step back, "Katie, were over." Jade looks at him, "Your what!" He laughs then turns to Jade, "Jade, will you be my good luck charm." Katie pushes him, "Your dumping me, for her!" He smile, "Will you?" Still in shock she stands there and looks at Katie then back at Jordan, "Woah, erm... yeah." Katie slaps him in the face then runs out the classroom, she kicks the bathroom door and Preston looks in her direction shocked then walks over to Jordan. "What's up with Katie?" He flicks his hair back, "I just dumped her." He looks at Jade, "Oh, wow... I see, well I came over to say that Willis wants to do it at 4 today." He smiles and pulls Jade close, "Good, got my good luck charm here." She smiles, "I got to go." She walks away and waves, awkwardly. "Wow." Preston laughs, "She don't seem into you at all, dumped Katie for no reason." Jordan itches his nose, "She said she would only become my good luck charm if I dumped Katie, so I did... I can make Jade mine." Preston laughs, "That's Katie's enemy, she would say anything to steal her boyfriend." Jordan shakes his head, "She's not like that." They walk to lunch, "Go somewhere, I'm going to sit with Jade." Preston laughs, "Sure, I want to see this disaster from afar." He pushes his hair out of his face and sits opposite Jade, she looks up slowly. "Where's your food?" She gets up and in the background you hear Preston laugh. "I normally wait for that." She points, "Oh, small que, I'll join in line with you." She walks to the line with Jordan and everyone scatters away, "Oh woah, perks of being you." Jordan laughs, "Ladies first." She walks in front, "Since when have you been such a gentlemen." She points, "Can I just have the meat please." The dinner lady takes her plate and dumps a pile on her plate, "Wow, bit much. When was you a teacher's pet, or dinner ladies pet... erm... you know what I mean." She laughs and they walk to a table, "Erh, yesterday, I asked for just mash, I guess she thinks I'm starving myself." She looks over at Preston's face then back at Jordan and pulls him in close, "If this is a prank, I swear I will kill you." He smirks, "Why do you still think that?" She points with her eyes, "Their watching like a hawk..." He smiles, "They probably think I'm insane for dumping drama queen." She picks up the meat with her fork, "And you are." He stares into her eyes, "I fell for someone else, I'm not insane, I'm lucky. Kiss?" She pushes him away from her face and gets up, "Now I know this is a prank!" He calls Preston over, He speeds over. "I promise. Preston, tell her how I feel." Preston shakes his head, "He dumped queen bee for you isn't that saying enough." Preston laughs and puts his hands in his pocket, "It still amazes me... because, all this girl wants is... Friendship! You two will never be more, go back to Katie now." Jordan laughs and pushes him, "I can't be with someone I don't like." Preston walks away, shouting. "Think about what you're doing!" Jade sits down, "Are you sure you should be doing this?" He looks at Preston, "He'll come around..." She looks at her food, she puts her fork and knife down. "Look, you just broke up with Katie and I don't know if I want a boyfriend... you can get back with her." Jordan laughs, "I need my good luck charm." She smiles worryingly.

Throughout the whole lesson Katie looks over at him, watching him for answers. "Miss, explain to me how... one number can betray another, it could have been so high but they decide to divide!" the teacher looks at her confused and tries to explain the method again, "Katie? is there a problem? there is no math's in your textbook, do you have the BETC Science book?" Katie pushes the book over, "Yes... forget it." The teacher turns around to the board.

After class Jade runs to her detention and when her hour is finished she walks through the hallway, she spots Rilie. "Rilie! Follow me to a fight outside, I don't want to go alone." Rilie starts running, "Race you out there!" They both run outside and laugh, "I won!" Jade laughs, "If I didn't have to walk then I would have won." She looks around, "Jordan." he looks back then runs over, "Good you're here, who's your friend." Rilie waves, "This is Rilie, she's watching with me." He nods, "Preston is he coming?" Preston shouts, "He's letting his phone go to voicemail!" A deep voice shouts coming through the gates, "And I wasn't going to turn up." Jade grabs him by the arm, "Bail now." He laughs, "I can't." Willis gets closer, "Let's get this over with." Practically the whole of year 9 turned up, "follow me to the park up ahead." Everyone walks to the field, "Ready to be dead meat." Willis smiles. "Willis, what a horrible thing to say." Jordan grins and Willis swings for it, Jordan ducks and punches him, Willis looks down and punches him so hard he goes flying and hits the floor with a huge thud. "I'm not continuing this fight." Jordan gets up and jumps on his back punching him in the head repeatedly, "Oh yes you are!" Willis grabs his leg and slams him down on the ground, Jade covers her eyes. Jordan can barely move but suddenly he's back up. "I'm not done." Willis pushes him a little, and he falls back. "I think you are." Preston grabs Jordan, "Jordan stop now." Preston makes everyone go home, Jade walks away. "that's not good..." Preston looks over at her, then she walks over. "What is he going to tell his parents?" Preston looks up, "He got beat up by a couple of thugs." Jade wipes her eyes, "why didn't he just stay down." Preston tries to wake him up, "He's never lost before, I'm calling my folks, you have to leave." She nods and walks away.
