Episode 7

It was ten pm. Too late. Rafay called his secretary to ask for the numbers of his employees Gavin, Ryan and Sonya. He had to ask them before it was too late to do any thing. Heck it was late already she should have been at home by now. Doesn't she has any sense about timing and the need to inform if late.

After sometime his secretary told him that it would take her some time as all the data was stored in the companies back office and she would have to go to the office building in case to extract the data. Atmost she needed 45 minutes to come up with data.

Rafay cursed under his breathe. With every passing minute he was getting angry. Testing his patience was never a good choice. He mostly refrained getting hyper and now it was getting out of her hand.

Rafay took his Mercedes Benz AMG GT key to go out in search if her. Starting the his car he drove it through the driveway and at the same time he saw Elnaz standing at the gate her back to him. She was talking to some one. Coming out of his car he passed the gate and wenr towards her. She was wet while wearing a blazer that hung on her shoulders. He hadn't taken a note of her until he came near her. It further aggravated him. As soon as he stood behind her she and other took note of him and quickly bid their byes upon seeing him.

Elnaz turned around to see him smiling while he stood there stone faced. Her smile dropped seeing his cold eyes. He got hold of her hand and dragged her inside. Opening his car door he told her to sit while he sat on the driver seat. Quickly driving back he parked his car.

Elnaz took note of his body language. His body was stiff, eyebrows drawn together as if he was bothered by something, eyes detached. Getting out of the car he opened the passenger door allowing her to move out. As soon as she came out he went inside the house while she followed him. As soon as they both reached in his patience bursted in to thin peices.

"What where you doing out?" He asked frustrated while she jumped back on his sudden interrogation.

"I was out with friend."

"I know that. Even though you didn't bothered to inform. Still don't you have a little decency to inform us. Are you still a kid? Being out there so late is dangerous for girls. Whats there in you brain? How irresponsible you can be." He boomed making her shiver from the impact of his accusations. Tears formed in her eyes as all the maids came to stand out upon hearing the noise.

Upon seeing her cheeks reddened, eyes full of tears he exhaled loudly while running his hand through his hairs. He could have said more but he restrained himself on seeing her saddened self. Without waiting any second more he went upstairs leaving her behind.

Elnaz ran upstairs as her insistent tears started felling down her face. She hadn't thought that she would hear such things from him one day as she had always tried to not make any mistake in front of him.

It was unexpected and hurtful. She quickly rummaged through her wardrobe and picked up a maxi dress. Taking a quick bath and changing her clothes she lay on her bed while crying. She missed her parents and her brother alot. She wanted to go back. No one treated her like this and even Rafay did not had the authority to shout at her. If anything he could have asked her for sure but yelling at her was not an option.

They both did not had food while both lay in their respective room wide awake. Rafay's parents came late at night. Seeing that the food was untouched his mother interrogated one of the maids about if both of them had food or not. At the end she came to know all the matter and felt bad for Elnaz. She was innocent as she had informed them about her short day out with her friends. Not to mention again that she had called them again to inform that she would be getting late as their car broke down.

Rafay on the other hand had not known the fact and acted on instinct. No matter what Elnaz was their guest and he should have maintained respect and serenity while interrogating her. It was not acceptable of him yelling at her. She need to had a serious discussion with her son now. It was not that it went unnoticed from her eyes the uneasiness between them from the beginning but she gave it less thoughts thinking she might be overthinking.

The night was like any other nights but both of them felt it unusual as it was wilted with sadness, guilt, tears, broken hearted feelings. It concealed everyone's emotions with it. It was silent letting the weak to dwell in darkness so that it could hide its pain from the world which was the case with Elnaz. In dark of her room her tears flew as faint sobs of her cries could be heard. She wanted to hear her fathers voice but ahe subsided the feeling thinking he will grow concern as soon as he would hear her crying stammering voice and that was the last she wanted.

If she was scared of Rafay before now she dreaded and disliked him. He was so mean to her. He has always been. Without giving her a chance to explain he said so much that it was printed on her heart. How could both the sibbling be so different? She thought about Firdaus and Rafay. The former one was so soft and gentle while the latter was a volcano for all she knew.

She kept on thinking as she unknowingly drifted to sleep as the dried streaks of tears remained on her face.
