[Ersel, think hard!] Ersel thought while still trying to think of what to say to Lino. [Just think of something normal to talk about with Lino!] 


[What do I talk with him about, anyway?] Lino thought while also thinking hard of what to casually say to Ersel. 


After a moment, Ersel finally thought of greeting Lino. He also remembered what Van had instructed the former to do. 


[Yeah, that’s right.] Ersel thought determinedly. [I should just talk and act towards him normally.] 


“H-Hi,” Ersel said while smiling and waving awkwardly at Lino. “Your name is Lino, right?” 


[Okay, fine.] Lino thought reluctantly. [I also have to pretend like everything between us is normal.] 


“Yes, it is,” Lino replied calmly while wearing his insincere smile. “Your name is Ersel, correct?” 


“Ah, y-yes!” Ersel replied awkwardly as he was trying his best to smile and act normally. “So, nice to meet you, Lino,” Ersel said while offering his right hand for a friendly handshake to Lino.
