Two boys, Ersel and Lino, were childhood best friends for three years. One day, while Lino went to visit his grandparents with his parents for several days, Ersel suddenly goes to Manila with his parents without even leaving a word or letter, making the former sad and angry. Not that long after that attempted robbery on himself earlier, Ersel had finally reached the tricycle terminal. He felt relieved that he had finally reached a much safer place compared to before. 


[Finally, I’m here! I’m safe now!] Ersel thought while wearing his usual innocent smile on his face before proceeding to fall in line for a tricycle. 


Meanwhile, Lino quickly followed just a few feet behind Ersel in order to not lose sight of the latter. He also felt relieved to have finally reached a much safer place. 


[Okay, so here’s the terminal for the tricycles. So this is also where Ersel rides for home.] Lino thought while still following behind Ersel. 


The line for the tricycles was long, so Ersel knew that it would take at least fifteen minutes for him to be able to ride. Lino also lined up with only one person between himself and Ersel since the former knew that he might lose sight of the latter if the former lined up too far behind the latter.
