Two boys, Ersel and Lino, were childhood best friends for three years. One day, while Lino went to visit his grandparents with his parents for several days, Ersel suddenly goes to Manila with his parents without even leaving a word or letter, making the former sad and angry. Lino was riding the taxi while on the way home when he remembered that he had some homework to do. 


[Ah, right. I haven’t done my assignment in College Algebra yet.] Lino thought. [I have to do it after eating my dinner later.] 


At that moment, Lino was also thinking of what he would ever do when the time comes that he has to reveal to Ersel about who the former really is, and the former’s mind and heart were debating whether to be friends with the latter again or not. 


[When the time comes that I have to reveal who I really am to Ersel, what should I do?] Lino thought while gazing through the window of the taxi and watching the passing night scenery of houses, cars, buildings, roads, skyways, trees, etc. [If he asked to become friends with me again, what should I do? Should I accept his friendship or not?] Lino thought it over and found himself still unable to decide and thought, [Damn it! I can’t decide yet! I’ll just think about that after I talk to Ersel!]
