Two boys, Ersel and Lino, were childhood best friends for three years. One day, while Lino went to visit his grandparents with his parents for several days, Ersel suddenly goes to Manila with his parents without even leaving a word or letter, making the former sad and angry. Lino felt happy while watching Ersel running away since the former felt that he had finally achieved his revenge against the latter. 


[There. Now I’ve put him in his right place.] Lino thought while smirking in satisfaction. 


Even though he felt happy, Lino realized that, somewhere deep inside himself, he felt empty. This made him question himself about whether or not he did the right thing in hurting Ersel’s feelings. 


[What am I getting upset about? What is this feeling?] Lino thought, feeling confused about his feelings as he started to walk towards the building for his first class for the day. Then he shook his head and thought, [No, it’s nothing. I must be getting too sentimental or something. I must not let this feeling interfere with whatever I’m doing.] 


Meanwhile, Kevin, who was one of those who listened to the intense argument between Lino and Ersel, asked Xavier, “Hey, man, what happened between the two of them? Can you explain?”
