Two boys, Ersel and Lino, were childhood best friends for three years. One day, while Lino went to visit his grandparents with his parents for several days, Ersel suddenly goes to Manila with his parents without even leaving a word or letter, making the former sad and angry. Back to Our Paradise

After having their snacks, Van and Lino went to the park within the university so that they could discuss together privately. Their friends had already left for home. Unbeknownst to them, Ersel was just hiding behind some plants nearby to listen to their conversation. 


“So, what did you want to talk about, dude?” Lino asked seriously. 


“You already know what we’ll be talking about, right?” Van asked calmly. 


“It’s about Ersel, isn’t it?” Lino remarked bluntly. “So what about him?” 


“I have a request to make for him, actually,” Van replied seriously. “Will you be friends with him again, please?” 


“That’s a request that I can’t grant you,” Lino answered coldly. “And even if you beg me or kneel right in front of me, I won’t do it.” 


Van still could not believe how cold Lino was so the former stared closely at the latter’s eyes. Van tried to see if there was any sign of wavering in Lino’s eyes, but there was none at all.
