Manticore (Part 5) Final

Nicola stuck the blade in one of the beast's eyes and left it blind, with only his brown eye open against it. Losing half of his vision, the beast lost his confidence and planned to flee the battle seeing that the rest of the team was already coming towards him and ran into the forest while ignoring Nicola's attacks. Without wanting to lose his prey, he activated his wind boots and followed behind, launching attacks one after the other.

The greenish blood of the monster dripped on the forest floor and he was already feeling dizzy from all the struggle he faced and the blood lost. Nicola mixed the elements of wind and thunder to reach the beast and then applied a sword bar to his neck, making it bleed profusely. The beast seemed to be drowning in his own blood as he looked at Nicola with his remaining eye as if asking for mercy, but he just kept looking at the beast as it slowly died.

[You killed the magical beast Choleric manticore, you gained experience]

[You have leveled up. Level 10]

[Level 10 reached, do you want to strengthen bloodline? Y / N]

Notifications arrived and he soon read what he was looking forward to. So he agreed to strengthen the bloodline and sat cross-legged on the floor beside the corpse of the beast. It was quite similar to the last time the warm sensation went up through his veins while cleaning the impurities from the blood

The itch came back at the end of his spine where his tails were and he could feel the mana being draw to him much faster than before. It wasn't just like the last time, a burning sensation appeared in his abdomen as if it were being branded with a hot iron.

He opened his eyes to see what it was. Using his navel as a center, a black tattoo of a seven-pointed star took shape. It was strange because the tattoo seemed to be linked directly to his soul just as the space rings were something he was not afraid to have contact with. The transformation was not yet over, a pain came when seven tiny bone-colored horns pierced the skin of his head, three in front and two on each side with the same distance between them. They grew no more than an inch and stopped, almost like a small crown adorning his black hair.
