Preparations

"It seems to me that now is the time for strenghtening my sins energy, let me test it" Nicola thought while extracting energy from the environment, normally he did not use his demonic powers in front of other people because of the prejudice of the citizens of the Melkor Empire, because the demons were at war with neighboring kingdoms and small countries. However, human society was only behind the demons themselves in terms of nurturing sinful feelings.

Each one of his horns lit up with a dark colors light like the fading deturped emotions. Almost imperceptible strands of energy were absorbed into the small spheres of the black color that formed inside Nicola's dantian and around his elementar core.

The energy absorbed by Nicola felt like a sponge swallowing the water around it, deeply nourishing the cores of sin. The human energy of creating negative emotions was simply very pure, even within the academy he could feel the envy among companions, the wrath among the enemies, the greed for material wells, the gluttony for food of the richest, the groans of pleasure within the rooms and the laziness of team members supporting each other.

It was simply the best place for Nicola to increase his strength, the energy further strengthened the powers that these sins could release. Nicola no longer had many peers at the same level and with these additions he would become even more capable of defending himself.

Nicola and his companions spent the next few weeks stabilizing his foundation and getting used to his bodily changes for the remainder of the time, inside the space artifact, where they spent most of their time when they were free, the four of them did different things.

Gin was in the garden watering and harvesting medicinal herbs for alchemy, in addition to learning her mage class she devoted herself to the alchemy profession, the lunar power emitted by her made the medicinal effects of the herbs calm and easy to extract. It can be said that in just two years she and her brother moved forward and remained largely safe by the pills she produced, different healing and strengthening pills given to her for her brother helped him stay safe in times when he fought alone .

Kin in turn was in the training arena, puppets moved and some magical beasts were released for him to battle against her. Specializing in the sword path as a warrior was the best choice for him, the body of the Entoloma solaceum provided unlimited explosive energy for battles, which increased its strength and attack speed. Sword blows could hardly be seen by anyone who was not good eyes.

Tuatha did not go out much as he was aware of the situation that the undead were in the Melkor Empire, so he always walked alongside Nicola and the brothers. Upon arriving at the academy, just as Nicola had predicted, they received many looks of resentment and suspicion. Even though they knew that Demons, Undead and Orcs from enemy lines could not enter the countries they were against, they felt discomfort in looking at their peers.

Some even tried to find problems by throwing objects and hurling curses at them. Something that Nicola acted quickly preventing something from hitting them and creating spells to muffle the sound. But at no time did Nicola suggest hiding Tuatha inside the space artifact.

More than anyone, Nicola learned to survive in the face of discrimination because of his demonic descent and knew that in order to become strong and remain free of suspicion he should not hide things like this. One time or another someone would find out about the wisp and hiding that he was a friend would only cause more confusion.

And that was how Tuatha was slowly integrated into their team, the mentality of an experienced cultivator and a curious child made everything easier for he, the former to understood the cause of the discrimination suffered by them and last made hum focus his attention on other matters. So, when entering the space artifact, each one gained their independence, but Tuatha was beside Gin learning to grow magic plants, and she seemed more receptive to talk than her brother, so they became closer over time.

This time Nicola was sitting on a glacier in the snow biome. He constantly sought to increase his elementary affinity with other elements by studying them diligently. In addition to fire and darkness to which he had perfect elementary affinity, Nicola had high affinity with the other five basic elements. He could also use other skills like the element of wood, metal, sound and poison, but he would never be comparable to the main seven.

After the merging of their affinities into a hepta elementary affinity, this difference became even more obvious, the seven elements synergizing with each other almost as a single entity. Around Nicola at that moment the elements of water, wind and light, air, were abundant forces in that biome. He sought to understand ways to apply the versatility of the elements in his creations and in battles, which worked in a way as a kind of cultivation.

The days went by like a flash. Nicola was standing in the gardens of his master Cassius' house, in front of him were six elders from the school, each representing a craft that the school dominates. Usually only the elders and teachers of the silver level were chosen to judge the student's departure from the academy, but Cassius himself volunteered to be one of the juri this time.
