Balta's Family attack (Part 2)

That was when another team appeared on the field, Tuatha and the others had left the tower to attack the enemies and prevent them from causing further damage. "Stay with the youngest and I will take care of the oldest." The shiny sphere said as he headed for the battle, as well as giving trouble in the fight against Nicola he also fought firmly against the intruder, after all he had already formed ties with that place. Nicola was the only one who treated him well and gave him an address. A family out of place, but still a family.

Tuatha attacked the older witch with his ethereal form, investing all his power against him. Sparks spread everywhere as the two fought. "Today, all of you are going to die. And that demon worm is going to see us killing all of his servants from inside the tower." Augusto's father spoke with a sick voice and a paranoid laugh.

Those words made Tuatha realize that the target of that was Nicola. They came here to attack him, and they thought he was still inside the tower. The moment they knew that Nicola was not there, they would probably go crazy and kill everyone there without holding back, Tuatha thought they still hadn't done it for fear that Nicola would suddenly attack. "You are from the Balta Family, right? It looks like you allied with the demons then. Maybe it's the end of your family." Tuatha countered by plucking an expression of disgust from the man and causing him to attack him further.

Fire, ice and sand flew across the battlefield against Augustus. The three split up to attack the enemy, Kin approached for close-range combat. Tyris followed suit by attacking Augusto with his fists and tail while Gin attacked from a distance with ice spears and needles. The three had difficulty in dealing with the enemy, after all even though they were three they were still at the level of the bronze stars and had not undergone qualitative change when reaching the level of the silver stars like Augustus.

Soon the seconds turned into minutes, they lacked the strength or ability to stand properly against the enemy, Emanuel had already defeated two of the undead who fought against him, killing them beyond what the ability of necromancy could keep standing. Wounds accumulated in the team and they were forced to retreat, out of the army of hundreds of minor undead only a few could still be seen standing up against the demon flies that were there. Most of them were glued to the tower's defense shields, eroding the magic that kept it safe. Even AI did not have as much magical reserves within itself to maintain itself for so long. Small cracks began to appear on their crystals and their light made fairy shapes began to crack as well, making them feel pain.

The tide seemed to go on forever and they would be buried there in that desolate place in the forest, Nicola had not yet arrived. Tuatha had already been hit several times and the glow of his ethereal form was already weak. Kin and Gin had suffered some scratches but had been protected both by the bracelet Nicola had given them and by Tiane's mask, which created mana armor around their bodies and prevented them from seriously injuring themselves. As a silver level item, they managed to maintain themselves against Augusto's attacks.

Tyris was not very lucky, many of her scales had fallen from impacts and she smelled like the burning of fireballs. Some snakes that dangled in her hair had been knocked out and were lying on their sides. Even one of her arms was completely cut in battle by a blade of wind and fire, making it be burned into ashes, she now had only one hand to defend herself. They had lost hope of holding on longer, they were now struggling to retreat and enter the tower back.

"Don't let them in!" Emanuel shouted from across the battlefield, cutting the body of a living dead wolf in half that entered in front of him. "I will kill them in front of the tower, let's see if that worm doesn't come out when it sees me cutting its throats." He said before being attacked by the tail of the hydra and flying towards the trees. The balor launched attacks and flew around him spitting fire and thunder from the mouth, scorching Emanuel's body.

Hearing this, the magic tower shone, intensifying its light and increasing the power of the attack matrices. "Back inside now, let's keep them busy." The fairies said as they aimed at the father and son and kept them busy for everyone to retreat safely. This action further weakened the stones that were the core of the tower that formed deeper cracks and almost broke for good. But they stood their ground to keep the group alive.

Gin administered healing potions, mana and tonics that helped them regain their energy while they rested, just a palliative in case they needed to fight again. The sounds of explosions and the buzz of flies sounded outside the barriers, at any moment they would be invaded and that would be the end of them.
