The dead is living

"We are going to die so fast!" Belmont says to others.

"Shut up, Bel. Give me the rifle" Jess says.

"But listen to me, it is very unlucky for us! Today is the party day! And we are going to dance with Orkrats!" Belmont says venomously as he passes the rifle to Jess and takes a pistol for himself. Everyone has heavy faces, but they are still ready for war. Mike and Jon have electrifying sticks, Jess with a rifle, and Belmont with a pistol.

They will be slaughtered in 2 seconds. And only 3 Orkrats are attacking.

"Aim for the eyes, everything will be alright. The village chief will be summoned in 2 strokes" Mike says. "HAHAHA, He is the most unlucky of all today. He will be born and die today. Holy asshole move by the councilors if you ask me!" Belmont laughs, a sad laugh.

The 4 are all of the village guards. It's actually just a gated community, 50 people live here, farming and chopping wood. The four go to the only gate, Jess under the guard post aiming at the paved road, Mike and Jon holding hands are behind Belmont.

They don't have to wait long, the monsters are already appearing at the end of the road. On top of bikes, huge hairy humanoids wearing mismatched armor and DIY-scrap metal swords.

The boom of their bikes is heard from afar but up close it is even more deafening. The guards did not have structure or anything between them, but Belmont, despite his dark mood still has a certain leadership role and goes ahead to try to appease the monsters.

"KAKAKAKA, k'don't k'even try k'anything stupid skin-filth! We will take k'all the women, if you help k'us to chain them, k'I can be more friendly and k'give you k'a quick kill!"

Orkrat vomit-talk to Belmont, the guard stops. He shakes his head and quickly aims his pistol, speed-firing at the biker leader. One of the shots takes off the beast's ear, another one penetrates the cheek, but all the other 7 shots missed or did not penetrate the skin of the monster. The other bikers are frizzed for a second.

Belmont runs and screams "JESS! SHOOT!"

The girl squeezes the trigger and let the lead fly.

The rifle screams, ammunition tears through the air, and explodes in the skin of monsters. But nothing happens. The monsters cower to protect their heads, they complain of pain, but the bullets do nothing, they are just waiting for the humans to run out of ammo.

Belmont reloads the pistol and checks his belt, he only has one more cartridge than that. Looking at the post, Jess has one more too.

"Fuck! Hold on guys, things are going to get a lot worse"

The two boys nervously hold the electric poles, attentive and ready to jump over the bikerbeasts at any moment. Belmont waits for Jess to reload for him to start shooting.

When his turn comes, he starts shooting, slowly, conserving bullets. The bikers notice and the leader of them gets up and runs to the gate. Belmont focuses his shots on the monster ahead without realizing that the other two have also risen. "DICK SHOT, YOU FUCKED!" The monster howls in pain and hate, but accelerates towards the guard. "oh, shit! JESS!" he screams!

She ignores it, the boys are going to have to deal with one monster, she is going to hold the other two. Firing more slowly, they protect their faces with their arms, she tries to aim at their hand, who knows, maybe take a finger out. But it is difficult, she has to constantly change targets, if she leaves one of them without steel for a moment he tries to attack. She pulls the trigger too soon and a shot hits the bike, bursting the tire. "YOU SLUT'K! I K'WILL DESTROY K'YOUR BITCH AND K'EAT YOUR K'FLESH WHILE YOU SCRREA-urhf !!!" without getting distracted Jess shoots the mouth of the beastman that is yelling at her, breaking several teeth.

The biker holds his throat and she focuses on the other biker again, but a cry from Jon makes her look to the side. She stops shooting and her eyes fill with tears.

Jon looks in disbelief at Mike's brain matter between the Orkrat's toes. He doesn't even realize he's screaming. But run towards the beast that killed his lover. The Monster's coat protects him from electrical currents and with his brute strength he doesn't even feel Jon's blows. A slap on the back of the hand sends the boy away, falling with a crunchy sound.

"KAKA K'just you k'and me, cowboy! I'm k'going to k'rip your sweat k'ears k'out before I kill you!"

Belmont has the pistol in his right hand, Mike's stick rolled to his feet, he crouches down and picks it up. It's full of Mike's blood "I'm going to kill you!". And then, the two confront each other. It's a hit between a Focus and an F650. The truck won. A knee to the chest sent Belmont flying.

The monster goes towards the bleeding man "I'm k'going to take your k'ears k'off now, don't k'worry, it will be'k very slow and k'painful!" Speaks while smiling maniacally.

Belmont also smiles with bloody lips, and whispers "dick shot" Shooting the monster's balls again.

Before the monster reacts, a black bubble of energy bursts at the back of its neck. A viscous liquid bubbles up while cooking the beast's skin, which screams and tries to rip the substance off, but only spreads it in his hands. The monster screams and looks at his rotting hand without understanding what is happening. Belmont doesn't understand either, but he crawls away not wanting the substance to drip on him. A man holding a staff comes out of nowhere, he says some unintelligible words pointing at the gate.

Slowly a thick black smoke curtain rises, as the thick foam begins to solidify, the two monsters outside scream in frustration. Jess shoots at the monster on the inside, finally piercing the beast's eyes. Who falls on his knees, while the black substance continues to consume his body.

The mysterious man points to the pistol, lying on the floor "Tek now low gyh?" Belmond stupidly nods. Blankly. The man looks impressed, but his focus goes back to Mike's body. He says again "Get up my Headless avenger and take revenge on those who took your life!" Mike's body begins to transform, his skin is completely black and dry as coal, his blue veins almost invisible. The neck wound closes, with a single green crystal in place.

And against all expectations, the body gets up.
