Chapter 10

Some debris from the fighting in space is falling to the ground near City A. And in that debris, ten drop pods are igniting their thrusters before hitting the ground. The Angel of Death Platoon and Adrienne exit from five of the pods while the other five pods have their equipment inside. Once everything was unloaded, the pods disintegrate leaving no evidence of them.

Everyone gathers around 264 to go over the plan. They have a guard post at every entrance and they scan everyone before they can enter the city. Still, we won't have to worry about that because we will have our AI Grim infiltrate their system to mask our equipment when we go through their security. Their HQ is here in the middle of the city. The shield generator is close by their barracks, so security will be tight. Once inside, the S.M.Ds will plant explosives and radio jammers throughout the city, then we will detonate the bombs to create as much chaos as possible. The bombs will cause the city to lockdown. That's when we'll send in the J.E. As and M.I. Ds through the front gate.

After taking out all the alliance soldiers, we'll have to subdue the residences quickly. We can't let any of them leave before we can get the S.R.T.S set up. You all understand your parts alright, then let's make this quick and go home.

Twenty minutes later, explosions are going off all over the city. Everyone is trying to understand what happens when the alarms go off. Ten minutes later, the alliance soldiers are all killed before they can radio in for reinforcements. The M.I.Ds were waiting outside the city for the residents that escaped the city. Keeping the residents under control is important.

Get on the ground, get on the fucking ground now. Adrienne is trying to get some residences under control. She then looks towards 264 for help. Don't fucking look at me. Take care of the situation yourself. Someone isn't always going to be there to watch your back. When the residents see this, they grow bolder, facing Adrienne, especially since she's a child. Three men, in particular, try to test her. She could see that she was going to have to remind these fuckers that she was in charge here, so she shot one of the three in the head making his head explode, charged at another one, and uses her combat armor to crush his skull the last one fell to the ground pissing his pant as he looked at her in horror.

The rest soon fall to the ground, daring not to disobey Adrienne again, fearing they will be next, ending up like those two other men. Good work, rookie. Now get the rest under control while we set up the S.R.T.S. Once you're finished with that help, the others set up a defensive perimeter towards the area the alliance reinforcements will come from.

{Eleven years later}

A woman and a man are fighting each other under a thousand times' gravity. The woman is Adrienne, who has grown into a beautiful 4'11 woman with soft caramel-toned skin, braided brown hair, eyes as blue as the sky, beautiful brown lips, an ample chest, soft hands, thick thighs, an hourglass waist, and a bubble butt. She has a voice that could move the heavens and have deities bowing at her feet. A voice so angelic it made you want to give in to her every command and her every move is graceful but seductive, innocent but deadly. Ruin tattoos cover most of her body except for her face. And the man is Ghost, but I guess you'll already know that.

Imperial father, I wish to create a new division of soldiers and armor called the iron maiden. They will comprise mostly of prisoners and other non-law-abiding personnel. Depending on the severity of their crime, will dictate what armor we put them in. Now the armor will be a combination of bio and machine that'll fuse to their flesh and will consistently deliver excruciating pain to them. The only way to ease the pain is by a drug produced by the bio armor every time they kill the enemy. The longer they don't kill, the more pain they will feel, so every time they get hit, they will feel the pain a hundredfold, especially since their pain receptors will have increased. Now I know you're probably wondering how I will keep them in line. Well, it's pretty simple. I'll put a kill switch in every one of them, so if any of them ever step out of line, it will be their last time.

I can see you put a lot of thought into this and it sounds like a solid plan, but you're going to have to show me you can lead an army first before I give you your own. You'll have to complete two tasks before I even consider what you just offered.

The first task, show me you can lead an army. I will give you a fleet and a fresh batch of recruits to lead, and I want you to capture and colonize a planet within 42 hours. I will score you on how well you complete the task.

And the second task, not every adversary you face, will have to point a weapon at you in the future. The most dangerous opponent you will ever face will be politics. Because every choice you make affects not only you but everyone in your empire. The merchant union wants to do business with us. I want you to handle the negotiations. They will be here within a month. Use that time to get all the information that you can on them to use in the negotiations, especially whoever they're sending to represent them.

(The merchant union comprises gods and demons of wealth. They control the largest amount of money in all the realms, with only the empire barely coming close to them in money. They don't get involved in anything unless they can profit from it. Also, they are a bank that all the realms use.)

Earth is one of many planets that can sustain life, but almost every time the humans living on it always believed they are the only sentient life out there, not knowing just how big the universe is. Anyway, as you've probably guessed, the earth is your target in particulate Earth-7943. You will be in command. I'll only be observing, so just act as if I'm not there. But I am curious to know how you're going to complete the negotiation with the merchant union. Even though we are using the rift to get to other places faster, it still takes time to get there. What might seem like a few hours in the rift can be days, weak months, or years going by out of the rift. Time flows differently in the rift and time also flows differently in other realms. These are things you have to prepare for. You never know what might happen. Don't worry though, by the time we get there, only an hour would have gone by.

On the homeworld of the Empire, in one of the empire's military docks, the 268th fleet, commanded by Adrienne, is departing for Earth-7943.

After the fleet has left imperial space away from the planet, they are ready to depart. Navigator, open a passage in the rift and set a course for earth 7943. All hands prepare to enter the rift. As the fleet enters the rift, all-time on the ship stops for a split second before the fleet disappears into the rift.
