Chapter 17: Decision & Mate?

As we're in the middle of our baking something suddenly hit Kimberlyn's stomach that made me guarded up and let my flame suddenly cover her up – well, it was not literally showing itself as it went to cloaked Kimberlyn. She took notice of it since she just looked at me then my eyes turned into a deep shade of amber that made it look like it was a fire.

"Come out and tell me why you hit my daughter like that?" I deeply growled protectively to my daughter Kimberlyn when I looked toward the space between the kitchen and the living area.

After a few minutes of staring into nothingness in the same space, there's a clapped began to echo around the space and a teenage girl came out with a lollipop over her mouth as she grinned at us. 

"Well, who would have thought that you're still alive, bitch." The teenage girl spoke and I don't like how she addresses my kid.
