Who is Detective blind cat?

In fact, he's not a house cat. It looks more like a small cheetah. He wears a collar to please his love, the bear. But he is a wild serval. His grandfather was a Siamese cat. But if you dare to call him domestic, you'll end up learning why in a hard way.

He's nobody special, but he always dreamed of being.

That dream started when he said he wanted to be a detective at school. He rambled on the bravery of detectives with all his passion, in front of the entire class. When it was over, there was no applause, just silence, followed by a question from one of his friends, a seal. All seals love silly jokes:

- Isn't it easier for a disabled pet to stay at home and take care of the puppies?-

Everyone burst into laughter.

He then realized that for others he had no ability or potential. Just another cat, blind.

Now his goal was to make a difference and change someone's life, to be a hero!

He wasn't strong like a lion, not very smart like a chimpanzee, or charismatic like a dog. But he was bold and had a good instinct. It always ended up taking him in the direction he wanted.

Still, as if it doesn't change a thing, he was blind.

His colleagues complained that he wrote everything in dots, even the teachers found it too much work to translate for others! So, he learned to write with ink and pen in a straight line in an understandable way, he just couldn't read what he wrote himself. Then they complained about having to translate everything into the dots, so he could read it. Even if that could be done by an automatic machine. Then he started asking people to read the paper just once, then he memorized them and no one else needed to translate papers. When he was in high school he was able to do these things without much effort. In fact, every day was a battle to prove to others that he was not an apartment kitten in which the outside world is too dangerous.

But he never stopped fighting and one day, he conquered his dream.

He managed to become a detective at a great detective agency. It wasn't a job as interesting as he'd hoped. It included a lot of paperwork.

At work, the only adventure they let him have was interrogating drunks. Rich people too, if he was lucky.

"You have to take the risks into consideration, with your condition…" they always said.

After exhausting work, he arrived and curled up in the bear's arms, took a good and deserved nap. They also enjoyed playing several board games together, the detective's favorite was chess. His big bear was the only one who played games with him because he knew that even without eyes he saw the world in his own way.

But this isn't a wildcat love story, so let's get down to business.

On a fine day, a crime was committed. Our detective wakes up sleepy and turns on the radio to let sleep pass. While he was still stretching, he listened on the radio: The day of today will be written down in all history books as the day when the moon stopped singing. The great and charismatic moon that sings to us every night has had its heart stolen!

The detective doesn't even wait for the bear to wake up. He got dressed, grabbed his things, and runs off to work.

When he arrives at the office the detective was as curious as everyone else. No wonder the constant murmurs, in fact, the moon had died!

He only realized that something was off when he noticed the multitude of voices gathering around his table.

He never expected to be chosen for a case like this. He worked for the most renowned detective agency in the world, full of prestigious detectives. Among all these people, he was not famous or had great deeds. In fact, he was blind.

Shivering with nervousness, he slowly made his way through the crowd and quietly took a seat at his table.

His superior, a very nice Saint Bernard dog, appeared in front of his desk. He placed his big paw on her shoulder and declared "All big fish start small" as he handed her a file with the title. Case of the stolen heart of the moon.

He hears the animals whispering things like: Is he crazy? Or I would do it much better than him! A large tiger even commented:

Sir, with a case as big as this, don't you think it wiser to choose a healthy large wild carnivore? I know it's more intimate with domestics than you, but this case is too big to leave in the hands of a…

Before he could finish the sentence, the boss completed: If he proves unqualified the case will be passed on to someone else immediately, don't worry.

Our detective's reaction was simply astonishment, he actually drooled a little. As soon as his mind managed to process what had happened, he grabbed the file and immediately began flipping through as the crowd slowly dispersed.

This was not just a case where the murderer must be discovered so that the dead man could rest in peace. The Heart of the Moon had disappeared, which made her not only dead but also stopped her from spinning! Changes in the tide and the temperature of the earth were just some of the consequences if the moon's heart was not returned as soon as it was animated again (of course, it would never be the same beloved moon as before). The big question is, where does an assassin hide something as big as the heart of the moon?

The detective was more determined than ever. He starts working on the case right away. This was his second time dealing with a murder, which was a lot for an average detective (even in the violent crime field) in his early thirties, and blind. Still, the protocol wasn't much different from a donut shop robbery.

He knew the procedure by heart. First, analyze the report of your fellow officers. Then start the analysis with external material, newspapers, magazines, security cameras, and other evidence. When it comes to a celebrity, you have evidence everywhere, in fact, they are always in front of the cameras. For that reason, it was also very strange that the killer had managed to escape without any visible trace, or in our detective's case, audible. But even if it was invisible and not audible, the detective was determined to find it. He worked all day. He ate very little, and even the bear's appeals didn't make him take a break.

He knew that if it took too long, the case would either be taken off his paws, or he would have to share the credit with someone else.

After two and a half days he had reduced the number of suspects to two, it was time for the interrogation.

When the first suspect was brought into the interrogation room, the detective could sense it was him, the case was closed, his fame was close at hand.

All the evidence pointed to him.

The problem was when the interrogation started. It was a thin, frail little mouse, it trembled and cried incessantly at every question asked him. When he tried to answer he stuttered and muttered under his breath. The detective tries to calm him down in every way. Every speech he had prepared went down the drain, pressure, and fear would only make things worse. But no matter how kind the detective was, the suspect was in a total panic, being a cat trying to calm a mouse didn't help either.

The interrogation went nowhere. The answers that could be distinguished among the murmurs seemed to be true. In the panic-stricken state the suspect was in, no one would give that everything was a trick. But the detective also knew that it could all be just acting, in fact, a supposed killer of someone as charismatic as the moon sat in front of him.

The detective just needed to keep asking questions until he made a mistake. Unfortunately, before he could finish the interrogation, a Pelican Doctor arrives in the room. He takes the little rat in shock in his arms (or wings if you prefer) and says he is mentally unstable. "He should no longer be interrogated for its own good, criminal or not." Pelican says. The detective tries to argue that this is absurd and that he should still be questioned. But the pelican claims to have all the papers to take him into custody. The cat couldn't check anything, the paper was printed in ink! He turns to his colleagues, but they remain silent. Without getting an immediate way to prove whether the papers were real or not, he has to let them go, or pass the case on to someone else. Unfortunately, even after all the detective's efforts to prove capable, the case is considered closed by the chief of police. When the detective asks for an explanation, the dog chief claims that that afternoon a scientist claims to have invented a piece of equipment that, when placed in the moon, would make it spin again. Even though now I only eat a big rock in the sky and no longer the beautiful singing lady.

"It is no longer necessary to find the heart of the moon, you did everything you can. Go home and rest son" Said the dog to the detective with a sad air.

Dejected and speechless, the detective silently gathers his things and drives back to his house.

At home, the bear tries to cheer him up, saying that they should take the well-deserved break, but even that doesn't cheer the detective up.

While watching the news, he hears a story about his case. The data and thesis he worked on were mentioned, his name appears on TV. Scores and tributes to the moon are made. Fans around the world count on him to bring justice to the dead moon. It wasn't just about saving the world, it was about restoring the respect the great moon lady deserved. If the detective had eyes, they would be glowing right now. The detective's motivation was completely restored.

Tomorrow morning would be his day off. But the detective, much to the displeasure of the bear who's already made all the plans, goes to investigate the next suspect. He begins discreetly watching the next suspect from afar with the dexterity of a wild cat. Routine, work rumors. He could have been arrested for doing this after hours, but now it was all or nothing. The suspect at the time was a simple star nose mole. It looked like a very nice animal and kind. We can say that the fact that he could not see the sunlight either created a certain sympathy for the detective. He hoped he was wrong. But he had to take the facts into account. Moles are great diggers, which would help slay the rocky moon. The troop was also rarely seen during the day, when the crime was committed. To top it off he worked on a space station.

Over time, more and more evidence points to the mole. Even though he didn't want to do this, the detective asks for permission to question the suspect. The detective was surprised when his boss received the papers that afternoon. He repeated: "Every big fish starts small, I trust you boy, don't disappoint me."

After bringing the suspect into custody to the agency, the detective seems to hear deja vu.

The suspect says he's not guilty and also makes good arguments, but the lie detector catches something. The detective can also see (hear) that he is lying, among the suspect's documents, the detective finds incriminating evidence. A medical certificate for the day the moon died. He asks one of his colleagues to check the paper, after a single glance they come to a conclusion, and false. The police chief orders the suspect immediately arrested for lying to police and murder. The detective's case is closed again, but this time everyone celebrates and congratulates the detective.

Reporters who have been hanging around the police station for some time find out right away. When the detective returns to the agency with a smile already plastered on his face he hears his name again in the news, he hears people throughout the agency celebrating his victory.

He comes home and touches one last time the evidence papers against the guy he arrested. But now he notices something strange. They don't have the texture they should, half of them are fake, the clues he followed were forged. He arrested an innocent man. Someone wanted the mole to be arrested. He got it.

The detective returns to the agency immediately and shows his boss what he found. The boss first tried to avoid the subject, when pressed he says he doesn't see anything. "The Media, you understand, they wouldn't leave us alone if they knew we arrested the wrong guy, and unfortunately, you would get fired" That wasn't exactly what the boss said, but it was what the detective heard.

It was a setup, and the police were on the side of the bad guys, the detective was now on his own. The detective takes another day off "to celebrate" and returns home immediately.
