Return to Canada

"What do you mean 'Fuck you!'? You are living in my body, so you should at least help me fly sometimes, otherwise its just not a fair deal!" B23 yelled at Onaka.

The others looked back at the two arguing and then just as quickly looked away. Even for a bunch of undead creatures, watching a vampire argue with his stomach about flying is weird.

"B23! You have no right to call anything fair. I had to trade my ability to stay conscious for extended periods of time so that you could become a vampire, now you wont even allow me the freedom to sleep! All so that you can fly!" Onaka was pretty irritated at the moment due to being waken up earlier then he would have liked, so he was acting a little more aggressive then usual.

"Don't worry Onaka, I just need to fly for a few seconds so that our cartographer can map out the area. We will only have to do this every few days, so don't get all angry about it." B23 tried to calm him down.

"Maybe you could have waited then for me to wake up right? It would only have taken a few more hours and you could have just headed north. In that short time you would have been a few miles off the road maximum!" Onaka snapped back.

"Okay, you are right, however we are in a hurry and weren't thinking. But now you are already awake so you should just do it right?" B23 said, glossing over Onaka's statement.

*sigh* "Fine! But you will leave me alone after this and you will not disturb my sleep at all for the rest of this mission unless its life threatening understood!" Onaka gave in.

"Thank you." B23 said as he sighed in relief and called the cartographer over.

"Okay, so my stomach is going to turn into wings and then we will fly up there so that you can draw a map." B23 said weirdly on purpose.

"Yeah?" The cartographer started to think that maybe it would be better to follow star lord.

"Alright lets go." B23 said as his stomach opened up and turned into a pair of massive bat wings coming out of his sides.

The cartographer just looked in disgust for a second before B23 grabbed him and they flew upward. They stopped once they reached about a three kilometers up. The cartographer barely had any ability to draw at this point, but he persevered. It took him about ten minutes to draw a map of everything he could see in the northern direction.

When they landed, he immediately ran away from B23 and held firmly onto a large rock. He then spoke while telling his team about their best route. The best direction they could travel was about a hundred kilometers north, north-east.

---------------------------

It took them weeks, but they finally reached Liam and Daichi's battle field. They had to stop every night to remap their direction, find food, and make sure that no one was out in the sun. They also noticed that they had encountered very few creatures on their way to Canada. They had seen a few deer and rabbits, but zero predator's the entire time, which made them extremely suspicious.

They had traveled with as much caution as possible since then. They had began to befriend each other a little more as well, and B23 made sure to train them until they dropped every day before they slept. Then they would eat and travel at night.

When they arrived on the battle field, they were surprised to find it in the condition it was in. The lake was extremely warm, the trees and plants surrounding the area were growing to insane heights and the normal trees looked like redwood by now. The weirdest thing though was that there were absolutely no plants around the area where Daichi and Liam fought.

There were craters everywhere, but most of them were covered in plants, however one particularly large one was devoid of life and looked like it was carved from stone. This was the one where Raijin landed after falling to the ground, after Liam threw him hundreds of meters in the air. There was also one crater that looked similar as it was made of stone, however there was plant life creating a kind of barrier around it.

"What the hell is that one?" Onaka asked and pointed at the plant barrier crater.

"Don't know, lets check it out." B23 said as he walked over to it and Onaka tried to cut the vines.

The second he touched it however, a golden light shined from between the plants, after which Onaka's arm tentacle exploded.

"What the hell? Did a plant just use hamon? They can do that?" Onaka yelled as he retracted his tentacle and noticed B23 speaking.

"Apparently they can Onaka. But even so, they can not possibly hope to resist us. Especially with the power that lord Liam bestowed upon me." B23 said as he looked at the plants covered in golden sparks. He then took a deep breath and his arm was covered in purple sparks.

He was being arrogant, however he was fighting a plant with hamon that the one he called god created, so it is reasonable to be a little over confident. He wanted to prove that his lords dark hamon is many time more superior to that golden hamon he saw Raijin using.

He covered a small stone blade that was attached to the side of his arm and covered in oil in dark hamon, making a black aura around it and purple sparks along the edge. He then brought his arm up and swung it back down at such a speed that the air itself immediately fled the area and created a small sonic boom.

However, the second his arm touched the plants, he was pushed back by a torrent of golden sparks. He was sent flying backward at an even higher speed then his attack, creating a huge sonic boom. He flew into a rock and immediately caused it to crumble. The golden light continued to erupt however as golden sparks flickered across the ground around them and a white aura radiated from the plants.

B23 stood up again and charged forward, this time with his entire body covered in the dark aura and purple sparks. He started punching the plant cocoon at insane speed, breaking the sound barrier with each punch. The ground started to shake and crack as the other members of B23's team was sent backward.

"How the hell did this escalate so quickly? I just wanted to know what was inside the damn plant!" Onaka screamed as he too started to super speed punch the plant with dark hamon covering his tentacle blades.

"I don't know, but we cant stop now! We are to deep in to just run away now!" B23 shouted as he grabbed a nearby pointy stick and enhanced it to its limit with dark hamon. His stone blade broke.

He then started to attack the plant with the stick by repeatedly stabbing it, which worked surprisingly well. The plant itself started to break as he made multiple puncture wounds in it and stabbed it so much that it began to look like that gross cheese.

Eventually the plant died and collapsed. Its hamon started to recede and the golden aura dispersed. The plants fell over and revealed the inside of the crater.

"Who is this? It looks like that plants were protecting him." Onaka asked as he panted and looked at B23, who was staring at the man inside the crater, who was slumped over.

"This is impossible! He is dead! I saw lord Liam kill him! He punched right through his chest!" B23 said as he stared horrified at the corpse, wondering how someone dead could possible have survived. Although he himself is dead and a literal walking corpse, he will ignore that for now.

The man was laying in the crater with closed eyes and had his hands over his heart. He was at least two meters tall, but probably larger. He had a huge bulky build with extreme muscle definition compared to the last time he was described. He had scars covering his body from head to toe, with one particularly large one near his chest.

He seemed to have lost all of his body mass, and gained it back, but only in the form of muscle. There was a ripple in the air around him, but it seemed very weak and there was very little of it, the only was B23 knew it was there was due to the immense purity radiating from it. It was as if the ripple was effecting space itself instead of just the air.

The man had long white hair, a face resembling the old Joseph Joestar, and radiated an intimidating vibe. Although he seemed to be alive and simply asleep, he wasn't breathing and Onaka thought he was definitely dead.

"Who is this old man commander? You talk about him as if he is some type of freak." One of his team mates asked B23.

"This is the person I was originally tasked with finding and bringing to lord Liam, and probably the only reason I gained the experience necessary for the lord to deem me worthy of the title of commander." B23 said as he walked into the crater and put his hand over the old mans heart.

He felt for a moment, however felt no heart beat. He could even smell the stench of a rotting corpse. But even so, he felt as if the old man was still alive, as if the ripple that surrounded him was the old man spirit trying to repair its body. (#Forshadowing)

Onaka seemed to realize who it was as he B23 played the pronoun game and refused to say the name. It only mad sense though as they were in Canada at the old battle field and there was only one person Onaka knew of that lord Liam had personally had to kill himself.

"It seems that the mans body and regeneration are so abnormally powerful that it repaired itself even after death and refused to decay. His will seems to have even forced his ripple to stay on the earth and keep him alive. Such a powerful man full of potential, if only he chose to follow lord Liam instead of becoming his enemy. He could have become great." B23 said as he hated to see wasted potential.

"Is this the man that lord Liam spoke of fighting and being the only challenge he had ever faced?" Star Lord asked, also refusing to say the name to build tension and a dramatic effect that isn't working properly.

"Yes, his name is Daichi Fuyuto, and he is probably the most powerful human to ever exist."

----------------------

When he says the most powerful human, its true. Raijin isn't human anymore so he doesn't count, however Daichi is so he is the most powerful human. Thanks for reading.
