Asking Scarlett

Sierra leaned forward in interest. "Oh yeah? Like what?"

"Lots of things…I need to be able to picture what I'm writing in my head so I look up references a lot. People, places, outfits," Nathan explained.

"…outfits?"

"Oh yeah, sometimes outfits can make or break a scene! But I'm no fashion expert so looking things up is my only option. A lot more goes into writing than people might think. Sorry…this is probably boring you, huh?"

Sierra shook her head. "Not at all! I'm always down to learn something new. I didn't realize that so much research went into writing before though I probably should have. Authors can't know everything off the tops of their heads. What are you working on right now? Or can you not tell me?"

"Well, I suppose I can tell you since you'll probably never read it," Nathan said with a shrug.

She held up her hands. "Wait! Don't tell me. I actually do want to read it."
